Outstanding restaurant! The food was so good that we ordered more and more. One of the best restaurants in the Bay Area in my opinion. The service is really fast and friendly.
The food was so good (just like Spain) and the service was amazing, I highly recommend and will be going back!
We got there early little after five and hit some happy hour wine with a mini taste of tapa
You ordered some regular size portions some glasses of wine and the restaurant week menu for three of us
Then we ordered a flight of sweet cherry for dessert the delicious pistachio ice cream and churros with delicious hot chocolate sauce
The waiter could not of been nicer he was a nice fellow from Madrid who I was mistook for a fellow from New York
Wait staff was lovely and attended to all our needs
would go there again the ambience is somewhat lacking it’s a shame they can’t have a nicer restaurant space with a little more space and aesthetic’s but the food is fabulous
La Marcha serves excellent food. We've been going there for years. But this time we noticed that servings were distinctly smaller. The meal felt a little pinched, where in the past it had felt generous. Less seafood in the paella. Less squid in the fried calamari. To be clear: everything was excellent. But the meal felt like it was "portion controlled." We hope the restaurant will be able to return to its former generosity.
Delicious food,great and friendly service!!
We had a really fun time eating there. Good food& friendly service. It’s just cold in the restaurant.
We had delicious food and great service. Highly recommend the paellas.
The absolute best tapas restaurant in the Bay Area>
Food was excellent, from the tapas to the paella. Service was friendly, and pretty good. Had to request plates and silverware a few times, but other than that our servers were very helpful. The happy hour drinks + apps from 5-6 pm are a nice plus.
Fantastic food and wine! Great happy hour tapas, but the full menu really shines as well.
La Marcha is fabulous! I will be back! The food, service, wine and experience was over the top!
I went for my birthday dinner. The service from paola was phenomenal. She was so sweet and and very quick on everything. Despite how busy it was she was able to cater, check on us and made sure everything came out and our glasses were filled(either with water or sangria).
There was also a gentleman i think his name was mark or marcos and he was always very fun. Without twisting our arms and just a smile he persuaded us to order another litre of their delicious sangria despite how full we were. He stepped in here and there as paola went on a break.
This place looks like its known for tapas, sangria and the paella.
Order the sangria. The first thing i did when we were waiting for our seats to open up was to scout what everyone ordered it appears that sangria and paella was the pick of the night.
The food was really good. My favorite of the night was the charcuterie. Every single cured meat had a different flavor profile and was full of flavor. From smokey and spicy to sweet and gamey. The next favorite would have to be the calamari with squid ink aioli. The calamari was coated and fried crispy to perfection. The aioli was a little different, You can taste The brininess of the squid ink but a hint of smokines. With a squeeze of lemon it was perfection.
The paella was good too. I ordered the seafood paella with clams, mussels and shrimp. It was a bit rich for me but the amount of seafood and the flavor in the rice was really really good. I would definitely recommend ordering it. Beware as the paelle can serve up to 4 people.
The only complaints i have can be that it was hard to reach them by phone and apparently they were using a new computer system and it’s having technical difficulties. Last complaint was unfortunately we were booted out because other people were waiting. Wished we got to stayed longer to enjoy our churros and probably would have ordered another litre of sangria.
Delicious food and great service. Shame about the tv’s over the bar but all else was great.
La Marcha is my good-too place for many events! I love the food and the Spanish wine list is the best!!
Great Tapas and friendly service. Overall, great find!
Great Sangria! Gambas , pulpos, and cheese for dessert. All really fantásticos. The croquetas were ok compared to the rest of the dishes but still would order them again.
Authentic Spanish cuisine in a convivial atmosphere. Outstanding choice of paella’s and tapas!
Very disappointed that we were again seated at the bar watching 2 big tv screens. We were told open table reservation only gets you a table if available. Five tables sat empty for the 1.5 hourlong bar TV dinner. Never again
Careful - reservations are routinely ignored. A 5:45pm booking was not honored - they sat us at 6:35! Utterly incompetent and ungracious. Go to Cesars instead!
Great Find. We were looking for a late night reservation and found La Marcha. It was an extra surprise that they had a late night happy hour that begins at 10:00 pm. We arrived at 9:45 and the wonderful server suggested we order whatever we wanted from the regular menu and could order after 10 items from the happy hour menu. Brussels Sprouts, braised octopus and wild boar ablondigas were all outstanding. Great service and great music. We liked it all.
This restaurant is really special and unique. We tasted many beautiful, delicious tapas and loved them all. Try the asparagus - yum. The bar was a great place to sit and enjoy the conversation and food. We plan to come back often.
the food was really good and a really good value. Looking forward to dining there again. Service was excellent.
The service was slow. Multiple orders were mixed up. Calamari could be prepared for two hours out.
We were thrilled with La Marcha. We got served a dish we didn't order, but we ate it and loved it. We've celebrated other special occasions there and will continue doing so.
The food was amazing. Service was great. God was timely and very flavorful.
Wonderful food. The best paella in town. Can’t wait to go again.
Great food. Portion are good. Love it and will go again.
Where has La Marcha been all these years I've lived in the East Bay! I took my wife out for date night and this was the perfect spot! I'll be back for happy hour soon!
Another great meal at La Marcha! The menu always seems to have a few new items (Tapas) to go along with our favorites. Great sangria and wine selection. Sharing the amazing Paella is always a highlight.
We’ve been to LaMancha twice now, paella 🥘 mixta and the veg paella are good choices. Their tapas are both traditional and creative. Nice presentation. If you want to visit at the weekend, make a RESERVATION we’ll ahead of time
Loved the experience and the food. Only thing they overlooked: when I booked the reservation, they asked if it was a special occasion. It was my birthday :) They never acknowledged it during our stay. BUT: not that big a deal because the food was outstanding!
Seafood paella was delicious as were the tapas. Sunday happy hour has a great special on sangria. Staff were friendly and responsive. Definitely will be back.
Wonderful food reminiscent of tapas in Espana. Yummy!
The food and service are great. The kale is awesome.
Wonderful food. Wait staff very helpful wrt wine an d food selection.
They kept brining wrong dishes and no apologies. The server came back 20mins after she took the order, and said they don't have the items that we ordered.
Finally, they brought the wrong bill 3times.
The food was ok but the service was unfortunately very poor.
Excellent and original tapas dishes and good service
Went there to celebrate my Doctors birthday, despite it being a compact spot, the host and server found us an extra chair from what went from a party of 4 to a party of 5. The waitress had extensive knowledge of the menu and made great recommendations and even helped up sing happy birthday ! Wonderful ! We will be back . P.s the sangria is nice and strong ! Love it !
Sangria was excellent. Food was spectacular. Price was amazing. Nothing more to say.
Awesome in every way. Great energy and vibe; lively but not loud. Terrific tapas and phenomenal paella - cooked to perfection. We had the marinera, but I doubt you could go wrong with any of them. Bartender knew all the wines and had a great recommendation. We went for a birthday and staff went out of their way to make it special. Highly recommended!
