Wonderful atmosphere with a wide variety of exotic foods and good wine!
Great tapas with very high value wines. The escargot is a must try.
We love this place, it's probably our favorite get away in Lubbock.
Great brunch with my family
The food was delicious. I have celiac and there were many GF options. Atmosphere was great.
Great food, service and atmosphere. Relaxing experience. Good selection of different tapas.
Excellent Food. The Tapas are of a great variety. Best when shared with a friend or family member. All of the aperitifs are great, in addition to the wine menu.
Atmosphere was good. Food was okay. Overpriced. Background music was destructing.
Love the new sangria, tapas are all so yummy & a key lime pie for dessert is a MUST
Great food to share with friends. Nice selection of tapas.
Great. Would recommend
Great spot for brunch. Good food and great drinks.
La Diosa Cellars is a wonderful place to go when with friends. The tapas are incredible and the wine selection always pairs well. The service is great and the music is at just the right volume.
Absolutely amazing service and menu. The salmon was mouthwatering and the Barcelona pizza was outstanding. Sangria was tastefully sweet to my liking. Cheesecake with with chocolate ganache was the cherry on top.
Thank you for the high level of care and safety during the pandemic. The service and food was great!
Perfect for a nice romantic evening with the one you love to be with
This was my first time to La Diosa, and while it was during the social distancing period, the bistro is a must place to visit. The food is excellent, the wine superb with local choices from the Texas High Plains, and the service is impeccable. The employees also showed respectful practicing of social distancing while taking care of us. This is definite place I will come back to as a regular.
Dinner was amazing and the staff was exceptional. The atmosphere was lovely and fun. I recommend the meatballs!
The room was quirky and artsy, so I was hopeful for a great meal. The tables are small - for a tapas place this is problematic. We barely had enough room for the 4 of us to have plates, drinks and silverware, much less multiple small plates.
The food is lacking. Nearly everything was seasoned with red pepper flakes, even the caprese. Perhaps this is a Lubbock expectation, but to a visitor this was not tapas, not Spanish. The pizza was quite good, though. I won't be returning.
The food was great and drinks were also very good.
It was a great party fro my friend.
5/29/2020 - We love everything about this restaurant! The food is exceptional! The staff were wearing masks and took extreme care to make sure everything was wiped down after guests left. The seating has been put a little further apart than before. Thank you to the owners, managers and staff for your hard work to get La Diosa up & running!
They were not open. Nothing to review. Wish we had been notified that they were not open yet.
Great menu options and wine selection
La Diosa continues to perform at the top. We love going there for quiet conversation, wonderful atmosphere and unbelievable service and food. Just discovered this about a month ago and have been many times since. What a wonderful place to take out of town company to impress and go to with in town friends to gather and commune.
Cute little spot with a super cool ambiance!
excellent tapas with large portions! The service was quick, frequent, yet unobtrusive. We recommend La Diosa to anyone who appreciates the essence of tapas and the abundance of great tasting wines.
Everything was excellent. I highly recommend this unique place.
The experience was amazing. Wait staff and employees were great. It was valentines date and it was set up for a beautiful date. I would highly recommend this place again and hope I can go back soon. Food was food I never would have ordered but was beyond delicious. Very glad I went. The only reason I gave one less star than 5 was because when I made the reservation there was no mention of a special menu and only one option for meal. Although it was well worth the price and experience, I had not planned to spend that much and wasn’t informed before hand that I would not have the choice.
The art was as pleasing as the food. Service was prompt without being annoying! I would geartilybrecommend it!
Serviced was on the confused side. Food came out at different times even the same items. Had to get waitress attention multiple times. One plate came out after half way into meal and only after getting up to find waitress. Getting drinks refilled was also a chore. Have been an a regular customer for years. First time to experience such confusion. Hope this was an isolated experience.
La Diosa was recommended by a friend. This was our first visit here.
We loved it!!! The interior has a cool vibe & the food was excellent!
Olivia & Matt recommended the risotto, crab cakes & coconut cake, so we tried them all! Both entrees and dessert (We were lucky to get the last piece of coconut cake!) were great. The customer service, also, deserves a mention. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. Thank you to Olivia & Matt!
They also have a nice wine list featuring local wines by McPherson, as well as, Spanish options and more.
Always a great place for tapas and wine
It was wonderful!!
Fantastic restaurant! Everything exceeded our expectations. The food was exceptional. We had to just keep ordering different things. The interior design of the place was amazing and to top it off they had live music to dine by. I have to say it's one of the better restaurants we've dined at on our cross country trip.
Great food, great service and a great place to ask your girlfriend to marry you!
A very eclectic and cool place that truly serves excellent food. My only concern was that in my experiences at other tapas restaurants is that because the plates are designed to be quite small without any side dishes - the cost is small too. That way - you order 3-4 small plates per person and then share it all in a communal eating format for your table. I was surprised to see small tapas plates going for $10-14 per plate. My wife and I don't drink alcohol when we eat - and our tab was $60 some dollars and we left al little hungry and completely sober. Overall - great food, cool decorating, just a tad over priced for the food received - even for really good food.
This is my favorite place! Food and service are always incredible!
Perfect place for a date night! Scenery was beautiful, food was delicious and service was great! Would definitely recommend.
We celebrated my daughter's 25th birthday with friends and family last weekend and had a fabulous experience. Since 2 of my adult children studied in Spain for a semester while at TTU, we have first hand knowledge as to true tapas and spanish foods and sangria. We aren't experts but we have a good palate! LOL. We must have tried almost everything on the tapas menu. Loved everything... the meatballs, the olives and almonds, the different hummus, the potato bravas, the shishito peppers, tostini with carmelized onions and proscuitto... and more! The sangria was refreshing. Highly recommend the Windblown red wine. Service was on point. Our waitress Tayah? was so friendly and helpful. Loved the beautiful ambiance that was eclectic, vintage, cozy and warm. We stayed 3 hrs and had a great time celebrating and listening to the pianist. We will definitely be back. Wish we had one in our small town!
We really enjoyed our dinner at La Diosa Cellars. We love that they have turned an old building into a very nice place to go have a great meal. We were encouraged to take our time and enjoy our meal. The food was excellent!!! The waiter was helpful and attentive. We will go back again.
