La Condesa es un restaurante de comida mexicana moderna galardonado y nominado al premio James Beard Foundation por "Best New Restaurant".La Condesa está dirigido por jefe de cocina Rick López y se encuentra en el animado distrito de la 2ª calle, frente al W Hotel Austin y el mundialmente famoso Austin City Limits. La Condesa cuenta con la mayor selección de tequila y mezcal 100% de agave azul en Austin y una barra supervisada por Nate Wales, campeón de la Copa Mundial de Cocktail.

Food very salty but good - could have been delicious! The tortilla chips were tough and hard to eat but you could tell they were homemade. The espresso martini was made with tequila which was just ok - wish we would have known ahead of time. Also the churros and guac were ok (wouldn’t ever order again) but the tomatillo sauce for the meat was divine! Cute restaurant but very casual. So would I go back? I wouldn’t go out of my way but if prompted, yeah I guess I would try again…

I just wasn’t very happy with the experience. The food was good, not great but dessert was better. Service was terrible. Server hardly checked in, he even asked us if he had introduced himself yet. I wouldn’t go back

I rarely leave anything but a 5 star review. The food was Excellent and we LOVE this place. On this occasion the service was VERY sub par and rushed. Drinks were VERY slow. The server insisted on us ordering before appetizers even arrived. I gave in and regretted it as they arrived almost the same time. Plus I was full by the time my main plate arrived and would have ordered differently. The servers clearly need more training on service. I would rather give a bigger tip than pay for food that would go to waste as a business traveler.

The food quality exceeded all of our expectations. Very well designed aesthetic as well, and our server Daniel was a pleasure.

Good food - server was a little too eager to clear our plates with food still on them and we had to tell them 2 or 3 times to leave our food. Otherwise - great experience.
