Kyma - Atlanta
Kyma is a contemporary Greek seafood tavern like no other. The cuisine is inventive yet approachable that is true to its Mediterranean origin. Kyma is dramatic, with a dazzling display of constellations on the deep blue ceiling, white marble columns and a bold fresh fish display. The welcoming patio, with its plush furniture and white linen curtains, offers the ideal setting to savor a glass of Greek wine and Kyma’s array of appetizers. Fresh, healthful food, attentive Greek hospitality and festive atmosphere await at Kyma. Proper dress is required. “A true labor of love. Bravo.” -The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

So Disappointed. We were 3 couples who were so looking forward to a great meal! The service was so slow, from drinks through dessert, our order was wrong, the salt crusted sea bass was barely edible. The generous discount on the meal cannot compensate for the poor impression. So sad.
Food was very good - a small couple of issues but very minor. I loved the fish and cant wait to go back again!
We were told we didn't get outdoor seating because of a leak in the roof. But there was a private party in the area.
Disappointed. Food was not worth the cost. I’ve had better Greek paying $8 per plate.
My family took me to Kyma for Mother's Day and it was the worst dining experience in a very long time. I hate to be "that one" but this is necessary.
Typically Mother's Day is extremely busy and hiccups are expected, only it was not overly crowded, or busy. We walked in the door and it took 5 mins for the Hostess to make it back to the Hostess Stand to greet us. When we were seated our waiter was less than welcoming and his attitude was as if he did not want to be there. He repeatedly chastised the wait staff loudly in front of us with no apology for his RUDENESS.
When leaving, the Hostess and Manager were just as uninviting as coming. Bottom line, we will NOT return. There are way too many other dining options here in Atlanta to choose from.
Ambiance and appetizers were good. Entrée was not that great portion size of the side were extremely small.. food came to table lukewarm after long wait. Overall it was overpriced for the quality and quantity of the offering.
The food and service was great. I have to say that I have never eaten such great octopus! Delicious food! Will definitely be back!
Took 2 hours to receive food. Had to box everything up and go.
Great service and excellent food! I recommend Kyma while visiting Atlanta.
Truly delicious food, as always. Back patio was lovely. Absolutely wonderful service. Favorite waiter in a long long time. Thank you!
We were celebrating our anniversary and the staff went over and above. Great food, great flavors, great ambience!
This was our first family meal out in over a year, and Kyma was an excellent choice. The food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection! The service was amazing! And the garden patio transported us to an outdoor plateia in Greece. Thank you Kyma! We will be back soon.
The service was terrible. Unusual but given the pandemic, we understood if it was difficult to hire back staff or get people who understood fine dining to be servers. So the grilled fish was dry probably because it was kept in the kitchen under a heat lamp too long. But there were no apologies forthcoming.
Fantastic food, great service you can't miss with Kyma.
Lovely ambiance, unique cocktails, delicious and flavorful food from meze to dessert. Attentive service that anticipated our needs and was always available. Our favorite restaurant and go-to place for special occasions! We loved it and the experience provided us an evening to remember.
Food was excellent ... as usual. Service by Nicola was also exceptional.
We really enjoyed our spreads and appetizers, especially the octopus. Lamb chops were a little disappointing, maybe overly seasoned. Snapper was delicious. Food service was a bit slow. It just took too long between courses. The restaurant was not particularly busy, so it felt like things should have moved faster.
Fabulous as always.
everything was amazing! thank you for making my birthday so special!
We chose Kyma for a special occasion - two couples with wedding anniversaries on the same weekend. The ambiance was excellent and lively. We paired appetizers (oysters, octopus, and calamari) with cocktails. For our main course, we paired a Greek white wine with lobster and red snapper. For dessert, we had the donuts paired with a Greek red wine blend. For a finisher we all had a Morpheus martini. The wait staff was professional and courteous. Our group enjoyed a wonderful evening at Kyma.
As always, Kyma exceeds my expectations. Outstanding food and service! One of my faves!!
Very much enjoyed our evening and dinner! Food was fantastic and service perfect!
Service incredibly slow. Food was mediocre when it finally arrived over an hour after ordered. Great ambiance but unfortunately not a great experience. Expected much better.
We truly love Skymark. Been going for years. Best octopus ever. And the beet salad is to die for!
Lobster minis, beet salad and lamb pie were very good, but ironically the more expensive dishes were subpar.. oysters weren't the greatest (got East coast), and there was a piece of the shell in every single bite I took (kitchen should be more careful while shucking) and lamb chops were more than over seasoned, almost inedible. Luckily they were small enough that it didn't have much impact. Our server was friendly and for the most part, attentive. Cushioned chairs on the covered patio were stained terribly, which is pretty alarming for a restaurant to not address. Personally, no need to return!
Darko was very knowledgeable and attentive server. We will come back to Kyma.
Dolmas and octopus were spectacular. So were the lamb chops.
Excellent food, wine, service. Reminds me of Santorini!! We will be back.
very good as usual, octopus appetizer and bronzino main course were excellent. service was great, not much has changed!
We had a great time, service and food was excellent. We had the opportunity to greet chef Pano. Should try the octopus, ceviche, any fish!! All deserts are great but go for the donuts and blueberry pie. Thanks to Silvia and Bartolo.
The best fish in Atlanta!
Kyma never disappoints! Great food, great service, great ambiance!
We were back!!! Food as always excellent!!! Nicolas, our server, impeccable!! Thanks to Nicolas we were able to enjoy our dinner as he struggled to get our plates from the pandemonium of the kitchen organization. It is a rollercoaster you never know when you are going to get your order or if it is going to be what you ordered. Nicolas had to spend sometime in the kitchen getting our plates as time flowed and nor mezzes or fish were in the horizon!! Kyma needs to address this issue.
Several dishes over salted. Had not been in 5 years so GM change and other staff, not what it was but still a relatively strong performer given Covid challenges.
Wonderful restaurant for the family. Highly recommended!
This place has become one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. The food is absolutely wonderful. Always have a good experience here.
Unfortunately, there was a group of noisy patrons on the outdoor dining patio. But they were celebrating and having a good time, so we let it go. Food and service[Daniel] were outstanding. Ordered a second serving of calamari and had the lamb chops for the first time.
Always a super experience.
Finest restaurant in Atlanta! Sea Food second to none. Appetitizers
will blow your Taste buds!
Start with Egg plant stew for first course...................Either the Giant Prawns or the
Monk Fish resting in a red pepper sauce for main course..........top it off with
the Blue Berry Phylo top with sorbet + cappacino .
Dreamy evening like being in Greece
Ask for Jacob to be your server
