Kyma is a contemporary Greek seafood tavern like no other. The cuisine is inventive yet approachable that is true to its Mediterranean origin. Kyma is dramatic, with a dazzling display of constellations on the deep blue ceiling, white marble columns and a bold fresh fish display. The welcoming patio, with its plush furniture and white linen curtains, offers the ideal setting to savor a glass of Greek wine and Kyma’s array of appetizers. Fresh, healthful food, attentive Greek hospitality and festive atmosphere await at Kyma. Proper dress is required. “A true labor of love. Bravo.” -The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

I've been to Kyma many, many times. The food and service are "Always" very good. However this visit out server, who was very friendly, made a very big mistake on our order. We ordered a 2 lb lavraki (fish) which was $70; we asked for the" whole fish" and we asked her to have the kitchen "grill it crispy", then we said extra crispy. We mentioned cripsy about 4 to 5 times!
Well, she had them fillet it - it was very moist - no skin - Not crispy at all! It was very moist and tasty if that's what we had what wanted. We would have Never ordered that - a $70 piece of fish cooked like that. We have ordered that same way there before, and at other restaurants, and no has ever brought us a piece of filleted fish.
We brought a delicious, expensive bottle of French wine from home, and I feel like the wine was wasted on that meal. They offered to cook us another one. My girlfriend was tired and didn't want to wait another 25 minutes. But we should have waited and had them recook it the way we wanted it. I barely ate anything.
Normally I would give Kyma 4 to 5 stars on everything. Because of my history at Kyma I was very generous this time with the stars. To me this time was a very disappointing dining experience.

Everything great, as always.
The waitress had the detail of our last visit and suggest us the same sparkling wine that we did order las time. That detail was outstanding.

The only item to improve is that they brought us oysters without lemon and without a special fork to work on them ( usually the fork of oyster is smaller than the regular ones)

But that was just a detail, the experience was great!!!!

Came here for a late valentines date and it was fantastic. We were greeted right away by the host and sat down pretty quickly. Our servers were wonderful and were able to answers our questions quickly and efficiently. I've never had Greek food before so this was a wonderful experience. We chose the option where we got 4 appetizers, 4 different dips, and a fish to share all for only $52 each (although we got charged $58). No big deal, I was willing to pay a little more because of how excellent everything was. We had also order 3 bottles of wine mainly because they had a half off all wine bottle that night. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

The only hiccup I encountered was being seated 15-20 past our 915 pm reservation time, which is more of an indictment on the restaurants success, other than that the food, service and ambiance was impeccably outstanding!
It was my first time dining there and I’ll definitely be back!

We have eaten at all of the Buckhead life group now and this will be the only time we eat at Kyma. I feel the food is over priced and the service was subpar.

Kyma is an exceptional restaurant dining experience. Everything is top notch, from the fresh seafood to the service and food. Every restaurant should be as good at one thing as Kyma and then work their way out from there. Far too often that's not the case.
