Deep fried King prawn with golden breadcrumbs served with special house cream salad
Really friendly staff! Felt very safe with covid 19 measures they had put in place
The food was very nice and the service excellent but this place was really let down by the facilities - the toilets were really disgusting. On this occasion the men’s loo seat was broken so men had to use the ladies’, and in the ladies’ one of the cubicles was out of order. The main restaurant was decent enough and the meal very enjoyable but I do hope they fix this soon.
I always enjoy Krua by Nathong. This time my guest and I chose the set menu and were unsurprised to find it was delicious and plentiful. Best of all, my allergy was, as always at this restaurant, dealt with impeccably.
Really great food as always. Service was a little slower than usual as it was Friday and a big group were in there.
The food was very poor. I will not be returning. Food was cold and tasteless. 7 pound service charge added to the fixed price menu was steep.
I booked this Thai restaurant as I found on google maps it was the closest to our hotel (across the road from St Paul's Cathedral). I must say on the whole, we were very satisfied with our meal. It was nice and peaceful for a Saturday evening. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered tap waters and a Coca Cola. Lovely menu. Simple and easy to read (includes some photos of dishes). The start platter for 2 sounded delicious and ordered fried squid too. All of it was delicious and quite filling, although there could have been more squid. The breaded, butterfly shrimp was my favourite! For mains ordered we ordered the pad Thai (which was a tad too sweet for us), Jungle Curry (nice BUT VERY VERY SPICY to be warned lol) and wok fried chicken with basil, garlic & green beans. The wok fried chicken was very good. smoky and savoury. For 3 adults cost £85. Not overly pricy but not cheap either. You have to take into consideration the location I guess. On the whole very happy and will be going back.
good place, great food, good service, lively atmosphere, during lunchtimes. what more can one ask for.
Lovely restaurant not too far from Blackfriars Stn. The restaurant is nicely laid out and service is efficient. Food is great and reasonably priced.
Great place to grab dinner after work. Service was a bit slow to start with but picked up as the evening went on.
good quality food
nice attention from staff
would go again
Nice lunch here. I went with the a la carte menu: vegetarian spring rolls and chili basil chicken with jasmine rice. The spring rolls were perfectly cooked and not plasma-hot. The chili basil sauce was lovely, very spicy with plenty of chicken and vegetables. Service was attentive and friendly.
Great food and service, really good value for money.
All the stuff were polite and attentive, great experience overall!
Very tasty food and good service and relaxed atmosphere
A warm welcome on arrival. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Will definitely return
An ever reliable Thai restaurant on Carter Lane, good selection of dishes, rice, noodles, grilled, meat and fish. Very reasonable for the location, just wish we lived nearer
Was perfect for lunchtime catch up will definately dine again
there is so much to chose from in London that you absolutely have to try to avoid this place. overpriced, basic in all aspects. The 4 of us were in a harry and just stopped by as it was close to us. would not recommend to anybody. If you do not have time, best to stop in any of the chain as they offer fresher and cheaper food in a nicer ambiance
Having been here a number of times previously (albeit a couple of years ago) and had great experience, I was disappointed with the level of service. Even though the place was not very full, the waiters were inattentive. Equally disappointing was the quality of the food, which has gone down significantly. While the soups were okay, the panfried salmon with tamarind sauce was dry and did not taste of tamarind, while the tofu in the stir fry tofu was chewy. Won't be going back
Good food & quick service for a Friday evening in the City!
Shame really. Had red curry with prawns. Sauce tasted powdery and out of a packet and no one had said prawns would be in their shell as I am adverse to prawn shells. A little thing but. They also didn't mention they would be river prawns bigger and more cost. Would be good to check and I will also ask too. Friends pad Thai ok. Service good not rushed or pressured to leave but that could be because we were only 2 of 8 people at that time. Not recommend
Waiter started taking away plates before we’d finished. Pushy with next drinks too. Waitress failed to acknowledge we’d arrived for booking so we were marked as a no show. She also gave us another table’s change.
Excellent food, served by polite, attentive waiters. Would happily recommend.
It has been a while since I visited Krua, and it did not disappoint. We ate from the set menu enjoying the dumplings to start followed by prawn noodles. Very reasonable costing food in relaxing environment. Totally recommend.
Delicious food and excellent service. Restaurant was busy and buzzy but we were seated and served quickly. Lovely curries
This restaurant is in a nice location in one of the back roads near St Paul`s cathedral. We arrived a few minutes late but received a nice friendly welcome. We were seated with minimal fuss. The service was friendly and very efficient. The food was excellent.Lovely environment for a nice meal.We had booked the table for 6pm on a Saturday. There were a few customers there when we first went into the restaurant but it rapidly filled up during the two hours we spent there. It looked very popular and we really enjoyed our experience.Would recommend.
Great place, good authentic cuisine. Near St Paul's Grange Hotel.
Really enjoyed the food, especially the pork caramelised in Soy Sauce. Desert was a let down though after amazing starters & main course.
Having traveled to Thailand many times a year for over 20 years I can say this is one of the best thai restaurants I've had in the UK. So much so I will go to the restaurant in Bangkok to try!
Went there Saturday for a celebration dinner. Food was excellent as was the service. Only comment I have is that it is quite quiet which I supposed to be expected.
Good food, certainly above the norm, in a nice setting - always fab service and good value (esp. Considering the area)
Will definitely be back, really enjoyed the meal. Good location
Food was delicious but the service was a little slow - we had to ask several times for the bill.
Excellent Thai food which is both reasonably priced and perfect for entertaining clients. Strongly recommend.
Found this little gem and was very pleased we chose to book. Quiet even for a Monday but food and service was very good, quality if food and speed was excellent. Very friendly, helpful, portions ample and priced well for central London. Would come back.
All the food was Luke warm at best. Shame as it looked promising but disappointed.
Fantastic Thai food... great mix of flavour and spices. Will be back.
Great food with attentive and unhurried service.
I have no idea why this place has good reviews on opentable. It’s got pictures in the menu. It’s that kind of place. It’s just “fine”.
The waiter was really attentive and food came quickly! We had 2 courses and paid £40 for 2 people. Good value for money and would go again
We had an early booking (5.15) as we were going to the Bridewell Theatre. The restaurant was empty. Service was good, but the food was disappointing.
