Wow. Love eating at your place but prices are getting crazy high need to review and adjust
A group of 8 girls went to celebrate a birthday. We were shocked by the cost or the beverages and food. Also, I requested a high top table but we were sat at a regular table. The service was slow. I am not sure if they were short staffed. The restaurant itself wasn’t busy.

We almost always enjoy Kona. I took my mother-in-law out for a birthday dinner and it was very disappointing. Her birthday was not acknowledged, her drink arrived after her appetizers and her meal and we rarely saw our server. It started okay and then the service was almost non-existent. Others did try to step in and assist, but waters were empty, drinks took almost 30 minutes to arrive, simple requests went unanswered, no one really checked on us… we pulled our cash together vs using a card so we could leave. Very out of character and no communication if they were having any challenges. We were not the only table visibly frustrated. I hope it was just an off night.

It was a great dining experience…we love their happy hour!
We typically really enjoy dining at Kona but this experience was def not on par to what we are used to. I reserved a time/table thru app - didn’t get a low table as requested to start. My drink took forever and our appetizer was missed and arrived w our meals. My salmon was way over cooked and almost dry. Our server was very pleasant trying his best and manager made missed app right. Considering price increase (sign of times) - just not sure KONA is worth the price. Likely choose another option when dining out w family next time.

It was busy as it was New Year’s Eve. It took quite awhile to get drinks and the food was very good but wasn’t hot. I understand that restaurants are struggling right now so gave 4 stars. We did enjoy our evening.

At the same time! The hostesses did a great job keeping customers calm and getting folks seated as soon as possible. Our waiter was CJ. He was awesome! I think the restaurant was short staffed but you’d never know! CJ kept our drinks full and was really helpful suggesting sauces for our sushi and even a replacement rill when the one I ordered was sold out for the night. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back!

We apologize for not having items. Unfortunately, the supply chain is struggling to procure several items during this time. Hopefully this will change soon and we will be able to provide a much better experience and turn those 3 stars into 5
CJ provided excellent service. The bento box kids meal has a cute bear orange and a good amount of food. I recommend the surf and turf it's a great value and comes with sushi. The carrot cake is a huge shareable portion and was delicious!

Everything was good despite them being short handed. The only complaint would be that they could have given a bigger serving on the sides.

Excellent Christmas dinner fare. Busy, but we were treated very well. Music was non-seasonal and not our favorite, however it didn't interfere w/ our enjoyment of the day. Happy Holidays!

Service was very slow due to a help shortage. Our server did not tell us that it would be over an hour after ordering that our food would be served and didn’t communicate this during out wait. We were not offered anything to make up for the wait. The meal was okay when it was served.

i very much enjoyed my Christmas dinner from kona grill! the macadamia nut turkey and mashed potatoes green beans and pie were delicious, my server was fantastic and the place itself was fantastic!

Christmas Eve dining was very busy, but the help was awesome. We did have to wait 20 minutes and finally had to stop one of the waiters to even get a drink order. But once they determined who our waiter was, everything went smoothly.

The service was very slow. Our food was delivered before our 2 glasses of wine were delivered. The prices have been raised and the cost for a few basic sushi rolls and two glasses of wine was over $80. The food was okay, not bad, just not great. For my money, this was an incredible poor value. I will not be returning if the prices remain as high as they currently are.

Sadly this was once a favorite of mine, but after last night I doubt I'll be back again. The service has gone downhill, the prices have gone substantially UP, and the food & drinks were mediocre. Drinks: Bloody Mary that had zero taste of vodka for $11 and Red Sangria that was essentially merlot on ice with a piece of fruit for $13. Appetizer: Calamari for $18 that was mushy and undercooked and not a sufficient portion size for two people, let alone to charge $18 for. Entrees: Macadamia Chicken for $28 was ok, the potatoes were cold and lumpy. The $34 New York Strip MR came out medium+, sent back and 2nd one was only marginally better but still overcooked. Tough and chewy and no flavor. Overall incredibly disappointed, left hungry, and would have rather had drive thru.
Food is very good. A few of the menu selections were already sold out by 7:00 pm which was a surprise.
Our food was excellent! We hadn’t been there in years. My $13 drink was all ice.
Menu prices were so high! .. and food quality was much lower. Kona is one of our favorites, but something is different.
There's a reason the Kona Grill has become one of our favorite restaurants. The food is delicious and we are always treated with respect. It is always a fine dining experience when we go there. Thank you very much!

SERVICE WAS EXTREMELY SLOW, NON-RESPONSIVE
Prices have skyrocketed here. How can they charge $11 for edamame? And something crazy like $19 for a California roll?!? I ordered a pasta with no tomatoes and add shrimp. I got pasta with chicken and tomatoes. Server was just like, so sorry, but made no effort to correct it. Waited 15 minutes for server to bring water and lemons. Waited at least 15 minutes after asking for check for her to bring it. I know they were busy, but not more than usual. And we saw many other servers running around when ours seemed to disappear. Overall, not an enjoyable experience.

We decided to go out on Thanksgiving. Food was good but not great. We have eaten here multiple times and I think they raised the prices for Thanksgiving. Drinks cost more than usual too. Wanted to much for a standard Thanksgiving dinner so did not order that. Service was good and they were very friendly. Atmosphere was good.
I will eat here again, just not on a holiday. I missed my turkey leftovers anyway.
