The place was chaotic because it was New Year’s Eve, but the host was efficient. One bartender working the whole restaurant, so drinks were very slow. The noise level was somewhere between a stadium concert and a night club. Our server was the only high point of this experience, and she managed the kitchen’s incompetence with aplomb. Three of us ordered the prime rib “special” for $43 and were eventually handed well-done steaks. When we returned them (because we ordered them medium-rare), we were informed by the kitchen that this was the only way they could be ordered. Won’t come back.

Me and my wife had always wanted to try this place had high hopes had dinner reservations for 630 got seated waiter was right with us we ordered drinks and food at the same time it took over 30 minutes for or drinks to come. Other people was seated after us and was eating and finished and our food still had not arrived after an hour and a half I asked to speak with a manager and told the waiter if my food was not out by 8 o’clock we was leaving no manager came to us and I waited till 8:05 to leave as we was walking out the waiter was finally bringing our food I gave him a 10 dollar tip and kindly asked him to bring the food back to the kitchen because we was leaving we then drove to the industrial bar and grill it was busy with karaoke going we received our drinks and food very quick and all for $49. Needles to say we will not be going back to KONA or will I ever recommend any one else to go there. But I will return to the Industrial Bar .

Extremely overpriced for what you get. Quality of food was good but portions were small and extremely overpriced!! Extremely!!

Seems run down since last time we were there. Fruit flies around the table, steaks over cooked and bland.

The food was amazing! However, the service was extremely poor. We sat for 15 mins with out service. I went back up to the desk and was told it was a mixed up with the servers and they were apologetic. We had a reservation at 6pm and were seated, but I guessed we were treated as walk-ins?I thought the excuse was poor and unprofessional of the staff. It was our first time at the restaurant and the service was not what we expected.

Our waitress was amazing! It was incredibly busy, and a holiday, so we were not upset when our reservation was delayed a half hour. The food was lukewarm though when we received it. One of the chicken sandwiches was undercooked in the middle. The waitress offered to comp it, but someone must have overridden it.

I went on Christmas Day so I was expecting delays but it took over 2 hours to get our food after we ordered and over 20 minutes to get a drink from the bar. I don’t know if they were short-staffed or ran out of food but they were not prepared to handle this turnover. The only thing that saved them was the quality of the food once it arrived. I literally was looking for our waitress to cancel the food ( I believe they lost/forgot our order) when she was coming with our food. They did give us a free dessert because of the delay so that was very nice. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it on a holiday but I’m sure it’s great on a regular day.
