The service was good, however I ordered a filet and my husband ordered a ribeye. Both steaks were terrible quality. The filet was extremely chewy and the ribeye was paper thin. I understand the main attraction is seafood, however don't offer steaks at steak prices if their quality is going to be that low. We will not be returning.

We ordered some standard meals, tables around us where getting their food. We waited almost 40 minutes before getting our food that we had to ask for it. Was told it was the kitchen and maybe so however, as stated earlier everyone was getting their food.

⸻ Disappointing Experience at Kona Grill – Wouldn’t Return We visited Kona Grill in Carmel yesterday with a group of 9–10 people and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Despite having a reservation and the restaurant being fairly empty (maybe 10–20% full due to the NBA Finals), our food took over an hour to arrive. We were told the kitchen was holding all of our food for just two remaining dishes — which resulted in everyone’s meals coming out cold and nearly inedible after about an hour and fifteen minutes of waiting. When we brought this up, the server showed little interest in resolving the issue. The manager, while slightly more responsive, also came across as disengaged. He did comp most of the meals, which we appreciated, but the lack of professionalism and poor food quality made the overall experience extremely frustrating. We understand that things can go wrong, but the way it was handled showed a lack of care and attention. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this location based on our visit.

Food was good. Server was a little hard to keep his attention and get the order right. Pretzel rolls were still raw dough in the middle. I don’t mind the high price but you’d expect them to get everything right at this price point.

Group of 10. The two who ordered sushi got their orders 30 minutes after everyone else. Completely unacceptable. Instead of comping the sushi meals. They try to bring out free desserts, we were 2 hours and 10 minutes into the meal and had zero interest in waiting any longer. No manager came to check to see how things were going, which is typical the other times we’ve been to Kona Grill. Of course, usually we don’t have anything to complain about, but this was ridiculous.

We had a great experience here for Father’s Day with the family. Our server was attentive, friendly and efficient, the food was wonderful, and the ambience was great.

Way too expensive. $250 for a family of 6 with four kids is ridiculous. Not worth the price, really disappointed.

Great experience. Just a bit pricey. Waitress was great, food was great, noise level was good, timing of receiving food was excellent.

We had a company dinner. Our waiter was amazing. I ordered the Philly sushi roll. The taste was amazing, but I did find a hair in my food. It was removed from our bill. We had 10 guest and everyone elses food was amazing. The meatball starter was my favorite, highly recommend!!
