Always enjoy coming here. We like the contemporary feel. Sushi is good, just wish there were more slices in the rolls. Great service and quality of food though.

We love Konas! Great atmosphere, great food, and we have never experienced bad service. Most recently, Addison was our server and was friendly, efficient, and helpful with our special order.

We go to Kona often but have noticed the service just keeps declining. Food took nearly an hour to arrive this time and when it finally did, it was wrong (again). Getting to the point where although the food is tasty, we’re not sure how many more chances we’re willing to give them.

We are frequent customers and love this place. Apparently even though it was the day after Valentine’s Day and we had a 8:15 pm reservation we were still seated at 2-top makeshift (a patio table with plywood) table. There were three 4 tops that were open behind us for the majority of our meal. We didn’t have enough room for our sushi and food especially since they rushed all of our things out. I had to stack plates in order to eat. It was awkward and uncomfortable and not what I expected with a reservation. We were not a walk in and they had other tables that sat empty. It just kind of sucked watching other people comfortably enjoying their meal while I was jockeying plates and scarfing our salads so we had room.

Sat by kitchen which seemed louder than normal and it smelled like something was burnt.
Service was great. Asked for steamed broccoli and it came out cold and not very steamed. Server apologized and brought out a second order, cooked the same. Honestly broccoli is hard to mess up. Applebees down the street has it mastered. We’ll be back, but will order a differ and side.

It took almost an hour to get our appetizers and then another 45 minutes to get our food. Our waiter never seemed to be around when we needed him and we were waiting on drink refills a lot. Definitely the worst service and wait time I’ve had here overall.

We go to Kona a lot - this time our server was not very good i.e., did not bring soy sauce with sushi, was slow on refilling glasses and gave us the wrong bill at the end.
For the most part the food was very good - we were 6 people and 4 were very happy, 2 of us were not. The person who had the soy sauce less sushi was not happy with the taste and it was recommended by the waiter. I had the pulled pork sliders which I have had before and they were not good this time, too much fat hanging on the meat and the sweet potato fries were way to sugary.
Again, this may be an anomaly as usually we are all happy

The waitress is what made our trip sub-par. The food was very good, but I had ordered the seaweed salad and first it took too long to receive, which the waitress explained that it had to be made special, which I understood. Anyways, we received our food before I received my seaweed salad and when the waitress brought it out, she brought me a cucumber salad. When I told her that she had brought me the wrong salad she made a snarky face grabbed it quickly and stomped off. I then had to wait until I was half down with my meal before I received the correct seaweed salad. The rest of the night she was very short and snarky with us, like it was my fault she brought the wrong salad after we had waited long enough for it.

Everything was great. My first time there and I will be back regularly. I didn't realize I didn't get my lobster butter with my Valentine's special. I assumed we both got our own steak fish etc but we had to share. That I wasn't too thrilled with but luckily we ordered sushi and was more full.

Great experience. Trendy but not pretentious. Food was amazing. Highly recommend the avocado spring rolls for an app. Service was great as well. The server accidentally dropped my wife’s leftovers which we planned to take home so the kitchen made a whole new meal for her to take home. Above and beyond.

Valentine’s Day dinner. We ordered the special dinner for two and were very disappointed in the value we received. Server did not appear to be familiar with the special and did not explain that we would be sharing the entrees (1steak, 1 sea bass and 3 scallops). For $90 was expecting we would each have a separate dinner - should have ordered off the regular menu!

We ordered pull pork sliders and when the first round came out, there was a noodle in one of my sliders and the sliders were very messy. The sweet potato fries were overdone and over salted. Even though the waitress should have noticed the noodle (it was very visible) when I pointed it out, she did immediately take it back. When she brought out the 2nd round, the food was improved greatly. The sandwiches, while a bit haphazard in being assembled, were much approved in appearance. The sweet potato fries were done impeccably. That would be something the waitress (waiter) should also notice, overdone fries. I would have been far more impressed had she identified the issues and said our food would take a bit longer. We normally have great experiences at Kona so hoping this isn't a coming trend.

The service at this place is great, even when they're busy. The food never fails to be excellent. Helpful tip: if you're just coming for sushi, you can get more variety and more affordable sushi down the road in Noblesville. Go to Kona for a nicer dining experience with good vibes. At dinner it's very loud though, so if you want to have a date or a conversation even, this is not the place to be. Lunch and late afternoon is great though.

We had reservations for a party of 12. The table was ready early, we had excellent service, they easily split our checks, and the food was great. Highly recommend for larger groups. They also have a nice bar area.
