Amazing experience! The food was delicious and the staff super caring and kind.
I will definitely recommend it and I will come back soon myself!
Expensive and not that good.
The starters were good, but we ordered the marinated meat combination- the meat was bland. Not our cup of tea
Fantastic food. We ordered the seafood pancake, squid and seaweed salad, raw beef with egg yolk, Bulgogi, spicy chicken BBQ and the mixed ice cream.
Highlights were the raw beef with egg yolk and the black sesame ice cream. Service was fast for a busy Sat night.
Can't wait to go back.
I had a great time, and the food was authentic and tasty!
Very nice little korean restaurant in the heart of London. Great quality food for a fair price. Definitely worth a visit!
korean waiters were friendly and professional. food was nice. overhall a very good experience
Excellent food, very nice experience (again). Service was a little bit slower compared to our last stay. I can recommend it - very nice.
A set barbecue lunch for £17.50 per person for two people with tea and service came to £47 so this restaurant is decidedly expensive. The quality is good and the restaurant serves authentic Korean food. Service is friendly. When I started eating here 9 years ago, it was top notch although now, in my opinion, its just good.
Absolutely fantastic! Beautiful food and a brilliant service.
Korean bbq is yummy here and the home made kimchi selection is so fresh and superb and I'm Korean and know a good kimchi. Sundubu stew is really good, too.
Fantastic food and wonderful service. Didn't feel rushed by the time restrictions and the 20% off deal made the bill very reasonable. 10/10.
I used to go three years ago, and back then service and food were both great. This time, the food wasn’t great and the service was worse. My companion recommended another korean bbq place which I will try out instead next time
Great experience of BBQ grill, nice variety of options
One of the better Korean restaurants in London. They actually use the proper vegetables that are typically used for traditional bibimbap. The side dishes are too pricey (ie: lettuce wraps for bbq) and should be included in a set or offered as an add on if you order a bbq platter/set.
Lovely and reasonably priced restaurant. Great for a quick dinner.
We ordered chicken dumplings and kun mandu chicken for starters, the kun mandu was amazing and dumplings were tasty.
We also got the mixed bbq selection which was great, and the experience of korean bbq never gets old for us.
We were only two people but the table we were sat at was quite small which wasn't ideal but not an evening ruiner! Overall it was very lovely and my boyfriend enjoyed it as his birthday surprise. Cant wait to visit again :)
Great food, nice atmosphere. Try the Koba BBQ and the glass noodles, they are absolutely delicious!
This was a good Korean restaurant with option to have Korean BBQ. The food was good and the price was right. We had a nice meal.
Delicious food in a quiet ambiance. Very relaxed but with very prompt service.
Food was poor compared to previous visits. Tasteless and took nearly an hour to Arrive.
it's shame that dinner could have been quite enjoyable had it not been for the terrible service. They set a 2 hour dining restriction but we couldn't even get the waiter's attention to order food until 30 minute after we sat down. The first think he said to us as we placed our food was you only have 90 minutes to eat now. We had to literally flag someone down or get up to find someone to get re-orders on drinks and ask for sauces that go with our meat. Also if you decide you are going to cook the meat for the table be consistent about it. They would do for one round then forget to do it next so some of our meat were brunt. We ended up just cooking the meat ourselves.
Really nice atmosphere and great menu! Perfect for a special occasion!
Absolutely amazing. No more word. A must try for those who haven’t
Tasty food, nice barbecue meat, but quite expensive. Small space, so the table for two is small. Service is good. Overall, good.
Me and my friends really enjoyed eating at this restaurant. The atmosphere and food together was great.
The food was very good, I was able to find the same taste as when I was in Korea! But it is so expensive: you don't have that much meat for what you pay, and you need to pay for everything else (if you don't want to end up with only 3 slices of beef): kimchi, lettuce, spring onions, rice... And these sides are quite expensive too. I will definitely go back for the taste, but only on very special occasions considering the price
Took my family - been many times - and as always great experience and quality food.
Tables can become a little small if you order a couple of the bbq platters. Good attentive service who where very accommodating post a desert order mix up.
Orders came quickly and did again when we ordered a second round of food.
Highly recommend. Noise levels low and we had a great conversation without having to talk loudly.
The food here is absolutely delicious. However, they do not serve those small appetizers as they do in other Korean BBQ restaurants that I have gone to, which was a bit disappointing. Nevertheless, it was a great experience overall. The staffs were also very friendly.
Koba is a nice restaurant located at the end of Charlotte street. Food was delicious, and they specialise in BBQ. Would be nice if they had more vegetarian or vegan options, as all options of BBQ are meat only and some dishes that would appear vegetarian are actually not (eg oyster/fish sauce). But there are still some good options. I had the mushroom bimbimbap, and tofu started both which were superb. cocktails are great too. Ours came late but they generously made them in the house. Nice staff. Would go again.
Koba is such a cute little nook! I’m glad we found this place, the meals where amazing (flavourful and filling). The staff where extremely friendly, they answered our many questions about the meals, what they were, the traditional names etc.
Every single thing we ordered tasted great and the drinks paired really well with our meal.
Only Con! Be careful as the prices add up at the end. Koba is relatively affordable unless you get order happy like we did and decide to try everything on the menu😂
Enjoyed the food but annoying that they cook the bbq meat for you... and keep interrupting your meal/conversation by coming over to flip meat.. cook more etc.
Lovely authentic Korean food, we didn't have BBQ , but al la carte. Loved the seafood pancakes and noodles. Must try green tea ice cream with meringue and steamed chestnut cake. Shame that staff are not very tentative and service is a bit cold and robotic. Otherwise all good.
Amazing food and great to bbq your own food but the service is poor. It took us asking a few times for our order to be taken.
There were about 4 things from the entire menu that catered to gluten intolerance. Very unfortunate
The music was a bit loud so hard to have conversation. Table was good size to fit the food around it. Service was mostly attentive and staff were friendly. Good value for money. Recommend the BBQ marinate selection and 2-3 starters between two people
Good food and atmosphere. Felt a bit rushed with the 90 minute time limit on the table.
A cozy little restaurant. However the prices are rather high, specially the barbecue. The waitresses don't speak very well English and can't provide adequate advice on the food. It was nice to try it once, but I will not go back again.
Excellent meal - only gripe is that 1.5 hours not enough time to enjoy the meal - would have loved an extra half an hour before having to leave our table.
Prawn with chilli sauce was amazing! However, there was a heavy smell inside the restaurant.
Excellent food but terrible service. The waiter did not come to take our order until we went to get him (more than 10 mins after we sat down). He then forgot to add the wine to our bill at the end, noticed after we had paid, and then added on more service charge based on the entire bill (rather than the wine itself). He then brought back the wrong change (£10 short) and we had to point this out. Overall, very inattentive and disorganised. However, amazing Korean food!
