Kitchen Notes - Omni Nashville
Received extremely rude service from first server. Actually argued loudly with me. Dining experience was saved by manager (Chris I think) who then assigned another server - Katlyn. She salvage the deal and was incredible. I've had her service there before and she is the very best. The guy I had before is the very worst and should not be working there. We will be back again (have been there quite a few times) but will never allow being served by the one individual.
Our server, Keith, was fantastic. We request him every time we come in because he always provides great service!
The shrimp and grits are amazing! The service was outstanding, and I loved the decor. Will definitely go back!
It was a very nice time for my wife and I to get caught up, the food was good and then we went to the Nashville Symphony, it was a short walk.
The menu is uninspiring and food was "just OK" without much character. I like to cook and I have prepared much better at home.
New Years Day breakfast — shoved over into a corner after asking for a window seat, no attention from the waiter who spoke broken English and super fast that we had a very hard time understanding, and where we sat was right between the kitchen and buffet, so high traffic and the waiters kept hitting my ourse in the back of the chair, so I moved it to the floor, only for then it seeming to be in the way of everyone walking. My eggs were way over cooked, bacon was soggy, and the grits dried out. We are here last year for New Year’s Day and had a wonderful experience. Will be doubtful if we return.
We love coming to Kitchen notes but I wanted to leave a note to say that Gary is just a fabulous server. With a buffet, the service does not always take a front seat, but every time we have Gary as a server he simply goes above and beyond!
Good food, and lots of it.
Imaginative menu. Well-prepared food. Good southern flavors done in a unique way. Restaurant comped our southern biscuits as a holiday treat, which was a quality touch. We would go back.
Day after Christmas family tradition.
Best brunch in Nashville, especially for Christmas!
Thanks to our patient & accommodating server Mina, our large family with little children had a lovely start to the Christmas holiday!! Food is always excellent.
This is our 3rd Christmas Eve atKitchen Notes! Excellent!thank you.
This place has really gone downhill. We likely won’t be back.
Very disappointing - the biscuits and gravy were awful. Very bland and no flavor. Service was adequate, and the restaurant is very nice. Hopefully other menu items are much better than what we experienced.
The food on the buffet was not fresh. Oatmeal was curated over in the warming container, pastry items were very stale.
Breakfast is the best around - especially the pancakes!
The service was great! Our server really made sure we were ok and gave numerous suggestions. The food... I cant say the same. It was practically tasteless in my opinion. I had the chicken pot pie and they put like cinnamon or something in it and it was the ONLY thing I could taste. My bf had the fried chicken and without the spicyness, it was rather flavorless. We also had the greens, just ok and the mac'n'cheese which was really dry. We came at the end of the night, though we didn't feel rushed, we also were not offered dessert and was told that the coffee had already been thrown out by the time we finished our meal. I would prefer you stop reservations after 9pm, having a 9:30pm reservation when the restuarant closes, makes me assume that you will stay open until I finish, but that was not the case. This place is very cute and great for pictures. The prices are not bad, but for practically tasteless food, it seemed to be overpriced. If the food were better, I would not have mind the price.
get the pork belly appetizer! it is enough for a meal for one...
and the chicken pie is amazing!
and the service is outstanding!
and it is a perfect environment for a quiet evening away from the Broadway St scene....
the deviled eggs were by far the best part of the meal. the dinner was ok, not great. We were very early for dinner so the noise level was non existent as there was nearly no one in the restaurant. We suspect that the noise would be loud when the establishment is full but cannot say for sure. for the dollar figure there are better places than this in Nashville.
Excellent breakfast buffet and service!
Grabbed dinner before Christmas concert at the Ryman. Food was delicious and our waiter could not have been more personable and helpful. Made a nice evening very special!
We checked your lunch menu on your website before, but you do not serve lunch menu on weekend. only brunch. So, we disappointed. We hope you mention that lunch menu is available only weekday on your website. However, your plates, silverware and glassware are very beautiful. We would like to come again.
There were only two main menu options for Thanksgiving. My husband had the beef and my son and I had the turkey. The dessert was a pumpkin cheesecake. It was delicious.
The food was amazing. There service was extremely lackluster. It was my birthday and I was highly disappointed. Server did not ask if we wanted any drinks or anything. He basically just put down the food menu and left the table. I understand it was also a holiday but I would NOT recommend going there.
Excellent Thanksgiving Dinner! We will return! Warm and welcoming for the holidays!
Food delicious. Our server Keith was wonderful, very attentive and every one of our requests were answered.
Loved it! But we missed the Brussels sprouts! We last ate thanksgiving here in 2016 and it seemed like there were more veggie options? Excellent service and good food!
Food was awesome as usual. Thanksgiving brunch with turkey, lamb, and beef tenderloin. Sides were absolutely delicious. The lamb potato ragu was so good.
Our server Amanda was wonderful as usual, we really think she is great. Thank you
Best brunch in Nashville. The food was amazing. Everything from basic breakfast (omelets, oatmeal) to great pastries, meats, seafood, etc.
My wife and I went for our anniversary because we enjoyed it so much last year. The service was not good at all. The people around us kept looking for our server and we were pretty much finished eating before we got our coffee or any water. I feel like for the price I shouldn't be done before we can get any coffee.
Although they took a while to seat us even with our Open Table reservations, the service, food and overall experience was outstanding. Our waiter was consistently checking on us, filling up our drinks when he saw them a little low and we didn't have to ask for anything because he was very aware of what might be needed from drinks to extra napkins and butter. It was a great experience.
We visited Kitchen Notes on 11/20/2019 and we have a fantastic experience but it wasn't quite the same on 11/21.
Great spot close to Bridgestone and been several times. Would like to see KN expand or experiment with the menu just to keep it fresh & interesting. Same menu for a few years now.
Good selection on brunch buffet. Not all food was hot in the warmers.
the food and service were great.we loved the biscuits especially
The hostess’ are painfully slow.
We had an awesome brunch as always.
The overall experience was nice. Hotel lobby is gorgeous very welcoming. Food selection for brunch was okay. I did not like that the person servicing the omelet did not wear gloves it seemed unsanitary. The brunch cost was overpriced based on food options.
