Kitchen Notes - Omni Nashville Ratings and Reviews
The food was sub-par, considering the price.
The chicken pot pie was disappointing because it didn't have a crust, just mushed biscuit bits. The chicken was barely cooked through.
The Hot Chicken was dripping in grease, and was tamer than Chick-fil-a's spicy chicken.
The service left some to be desired too, since I put in a reservation, arrived 10 minutes early and we were directed to the bar and forgotten about until we went back to the hostess.
Amazing breakfast and service !!!!!!! We stayed at the omni and were so excited to have this gem right downstairs . The brisket hash was too die for , server was friendly and thorough . Food seeemed fresh and not to heavy just the right amount of southern kick .
First time I have ever left a restaurant with no tip. Waited 20 min before someone came by with water. Another 15 for a waitress to arrive; took wine order and food. Another 20...asked for the wine - she had forgotten. Food arrived before the wine - and all at once. Salads, appetizer and entree. Complete disaster. Unfortunate really - as the food was good. Would not do it again.
My wife and I dropped by Kitchen Notes before we went to the symphony and we had a wonderful experience. Our server, Imram, was focused and attentive without being overbearing.
The food was delicious! Biscuits and cornbread along with local butter, honey, and jams are complimentary with each meal. Our appetizer (pork belly) was well seasoned and cooked, and the portion was enough for at least 2-3 diners to share. The main course was generous in portion, attractive on the plate, and left nothing to be desired in taste. Prices were very reasonable for the quality, portion size, and presentation of each dish.
The restaurant itself was spacious, clean, and we'll staged.
I hadn't even left the restaurant before recommending this place to a friend as a fantastic venue for a date night. I'd return here for another meal without a second thought.
Such a fun experience! Being a local I'm always weary of eating in a hotel restaurant, but this was great! Our server was so nice. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was she offered a free dessert for the birthday we were celebrating, when we declined due to time constraint she offered to take off "the drinks". When the check came there was no alteration to the check. Not a major deal, she just did not follow through with the offer. Overall a surprisingly pleasant experience. Definitely will go back.
The fried chicken in the bucket- Nashville HOT was awesome. Had it with cheese grits, mac and cheese, and collards. The biscuits, spiced biscuits and corn bread were delicious too- especially with the honey butter and 2 jelly spreads. It was pretty quiet when we went on a Sunday night- kinda dead actually but still really good. Large pretty restaurant but felt very empty when we went. Must have been an off time.
Don't let anyone mislead you - this is the best Sunday Brunch in the entire state of Tennessee! It's a fantastic, really high-end buffet. Great ingredient and high quality chow. LOVE THEIR BISCUIT BAR! Carving station is great. Salad station has a wide array of ingredients. We love it!
