Established in 1997, King’s Fish House is Laguna Hills’ choice for seafood. Located near the Laguna Hills Mall, King’s Fish House features a large selection of fresh oysters, seasonal catches, sushi and live shellfish, including lobster and crab, on a menu that changes daily.

We’ve been in restaurants a little while – three generations, to be precise. A long time ago, we embarked on a road trip in search of the ultimate seafood experience. We traveled down highways and byways, pulled up a seat, put on bibs and soaked up the seafood experience: the no-name dishes with unforgettable flavor, the fresh-caught oysters and clams piled high, the hand-lettered specials on ancient chalkboards and the savory simmer of every combination of spices imaginable.

    It’s been a minute since our previous visit and King’s Fish House got even better!! The food quality is always a solid foundation for this rating but our server Sean made all the difference. She was attentive but not interruptive. Moving the Laguna Hills favorite up on our dining out rotation. “Sea” you soon!! 🐟

    This is one of my favorite restaurants in SoCal!! I have been eating here weekly for over 20 years. And since the remodel several years ago, the place is even more beautiful. The food is very fresh, super tasty, and always reliable!! I have not found a better place for raw oysters and shellfish in all of Orange County, nor a wider selection. They have a huge variety on their menu. And I will let you in on a little secret many people don’t know: This chain has its own meat processing center, and they actually put out a very high quality filet mignon at a more reasonable price than most restaurants in the area!! King’s is my “go-to” for live lobsters, too!! As for the staff… they could not be any nicer!! They are fast, efficient, treat you like family, and I always feel like I’m having dinner at a friend’s house every time I go. And if all these accolades are not enough, there is free, unlimited, and easy parking at their doorstep! And to top it all off, (Laguna Hills) King’s has two great patios for outdoor seating!! This place is a MUST!!!

    As usual we had an excellent dinner! We sat on the back patio which is so comfortable and the weather was lovely as well. The food and service were great. This time I tried the cioppino which was chock full of seafood including squid, crab, fish, calamari and shrimp. The sauce was rich and so flavorful. This place is one of our favorite local places to eat. I finished my meal with the cheesecake and was that a treat! So creamy and dense - not too sweet. We'll be back again for sure!

    Kings Seafood in Laguna Hills is a great place to celebrate! We enjoyed after watching ECO. However, parking tends to fill quickly during the day.
