Carmen greeted us warmly at the host station then escorted us to a lovely patio table. Wine selection by the glass allowed me to order a nice Malbec from our friendly server Jose while my husband enjoyed an IPA.
Our guests enjoyed your speciality drink, watermelon margarita.
The seafood salad was full of seafood, great presentation and fresh, perfectly prepared seafood. Our fish n chips was great as always.
Of note, I left my purse hanging on my chair and didn’t realize it until we got home, a 1.5 hour drive away. I immediately rang Kincaids and Carmen assured me they had my purse in the managers office. I asked them to hold it until today which they did. My purse was returned with all the cash & credit cards intact!
The seafood (scallops and steelhead) were both delicious. Though the veggies served with both were overdone and rather meager. Our waitress Melissa was outstanding! Gave good advice on our orders and was professional and charming.
The entire experience was phenomenal. Everyone played their part in making our visit enjoyable, memorable, and fun. I recommend everyone give this restaurant a try.
Server was stretched way to thin there were a lot of things we were waiting for thru the end. It took forever to get bottles of wine from the bar- we ordered a bottle with dinner before dinner arrived, and we were completely finished before we alerted a manager to cancel it. Everything else was delayed too like waters, refills, dressing. Really by the time we received anything we didn't need it.
As for the food it was definitely not fresh. All vegetables are clearly pre cooked and were dried up. I have no idea how they can serve that potato thing next to the filet- awful. Our sea bass was very fishy so I didn't eat it. One of our guest had a salmon cooked incorrectly, ate it anyway, and the another one said it was off and didn't finish it but it went unnoticed. All and all 100% not worth $500 and disappointed.
If I could give another two stars for service I would. Excellent food too
This is a GREAT restaurant, generally! There are ups and downs, but we keep going back. The Thanksgiving option was reasonable in taste and the turkey serving generous. The food temperature was warm to luke warm. The corkage for our champagne was $20. Our server Victor was fabulous, the view wonderful. For a recommendation, I would suggest they stay with the seafood, where they shine.
Food and service were excellent! One of the best steaks ever - had the filet mignon topped with Dungeness crab and béarnaise sauce. Seafood also top notch.

This is our favorite restaurant for a Sunday late morning brunch. The deck seating is a beautiful way to enjoy the sun and ocean, and the food never disappoints. We love the variety on the menu and both the adults and young kids were really happy!
First time dining here with my hubby and daughter to celebrate my birthday. Food, service, and ambiance was fabulous! We ordered the ribeye, prime rib, and pork chop meals along with watermelon margarita, house red wine, calamari, lobster bisque, wedge salad, crème brûlée and they didn’t disappoint!!! I also got a free slice of cheesecake for my birthday! Pamela was our server and she was fabulous! We will definitely be back!!! Thanks for a great experience and birthday dinner Kincaid’s!!!
It's clear their specialty is protein and not sides. Brussel sprouts had no color, no seasoning, no flavor, hard as a rock. Sent them back, they brought out market vegetables and the carrots were so hard I couldn't push a knife through them.
Service was friendly including the manager but the price for this quality of food doesn't match up. Food came out really slowly but I'm sure that's more to do with a labor shortage and seems to just be something we all have to learn to live with at restaurants.
We’ve been here many times pre-pandemic, but this was not a great experience. Service was slow due to understaffing. Salads never arrived, so that wasn’t good. Dinner was so-so, our fish was dry and over cooked, asparagus inedible. Shrimp served cold, garlic mashed potatoes had no flavor.
Our server was very nice, just overwhelmed with too many tables. The crab dip, as always, was phenomenal !
The staff was friendly and accommodating.
We understand that because the restaurant community is experiencing low staffing nation wide, that we are not seeing restaurants “at their best” right now. They are working with less inventory because of money flow problems , and the fish we were served last night reflects that lower standard.
We are rooting for Kincaids to come back in a big way next year, once they figure out solutions to their problems.
We shared the crab my husband had the ribeye; one friend had the filet; and the other friend had the seafood fettuccine. For dessert we shared the chocolate indulgence cake and a creme brûlée. We all enjoyed the food and had great service.
Food and Service was Excellent. I just wish they would have some of their online items.

Wonderful place. My family of four went to Kincaids for dinner on Veterans Day. This was our first time. We enjoyed everything, from the appetizers to the cocktails, to our entrees. The server Caroline, was informative, gracious, and funny. We had such a nice time, my daughter said "this food scary good, like we will definitely be back."

Kincaids is one of our favorite seafood and steak restaurants. We enjoy the food, ambiance. We sat outside and saw and heard the ocean waves. The service was fantastic.
I booked a reservation for my parents to have a nice meal on the day of their 40th anniversary. They had a wonderful time at Kincaid's, the food and service were both excellent. I am glad it was easy to book with OpenTable.

The ocean view was spectacular! The food was outstanding! Our waiter was very attentive to our needs. He was very polite and friendly!
Our server Pamela was excellent and made the night fabulous. Beautiful views of the ocean and Redondo pier. I am vegetarian and Pamela stated that she would be happy to work with the chef to make any dish I like vegetarian style, and she would even be happy to create a dish off of the menu. I really appreciated that.
My girlfriend had a shrimp and scallop pasta that she said was delicious. I had sautéed mushrooms, blue cheese salad, macaroni and cheese, and a delicious glass of the red blend. Definitely be sure to order some of the bread with the delicious garlic olive oil.
Was a beautiful date night. Would love to come again.

Great place for a special occasion or for a nice relaxed ambiance. Our server was very attentive and the food was good. Will come back again to try other dishes.

The food was excellent. The service was not so great. We made reservations ahead of time, but we were seated in the bar area. The food took forever to come. We had to request for our table to be cleared after the appetizer and the meal. I specifically noted we were celebrating 2 birthdays and the server acknowledged this, but didn't even offer a candle on the desert we ordered. Although other tables did have candles.
Since we were in the bar area it was noisy and felt neglected. I have dined here on many occasions, but this was the first time since COVID.
Celebrated our daughter's birthday with a window table at sunset. Beautiful setting, delicious food, great service!

Great views, service and food! From Cosmo drinks, Artichoke Crab dip appetizer, to Shrimp Scallop Pasta and Prime Rib. All was delicious and served in timely fashion.
