Lava flow and lobster topped Mahi Mahi was fabulous! Love the ambience, the sunset view, the ocean breeze and live music. Kimo’s is one of my favorites in Maui!

My wife and I really enjoyed the prime rib at Kimo's. The service started off positive, and the girl who delivered our drinks was so happy and friendly! But as dinner progressed our waiter seemed to lose interest at check time. Still a great experience for us, and we'll be back again!
We have been coming to Maui for 12 years first trip to Kimo's, a little disappointed in the portion size. The Hula pie was of course great!

I've been here now 3 times, each about a year apart, and each time I say I won't be back. I hope Open Table shows me my own review next time I'm searching for a resy in Lahaina Town, so I don't make this mistake again (clearly I can't be trusted to remember bad restaurants the way I remember good ones).
New Years trip with my daughters. We dined outside at Kimo’s on the waterfront. Wonderful ambience, and the food was just amazing!! Our best meal in Maui! A little pricey, but worth it! Mahalo!
Menu not too exciting but service was awesome and Hula Pie is essential
We made a reservation for our daughter’s 14th birthday for our last night in Maui. I have eaten at fine restaurants all over the world and I have to say that our experience at Kimos was one of the worst experiences that I have ever had. The service and the waiter was awful. We had to ask about the features and The waiter tells about them, then proceeds to say that they are out of both.
One of my daughters received a beverage refill from another waiter and no one was offered another refill after that. The fish tasted OK, but the portions size was very small. I estimate that my wife and I got around 3 oz of fish (if that). We asked for no rice and were surprised that we were not able to get some sort of mixed vegetables. The waiter said that we can get carrots instead of rice (and paid extra for the privilege). We got our dish and were given three carrots each that were hard and uncooked. I asked that the waiter bring some rice, as my dish was supposed to have rice and carrots. The waiter argued with me several times about this. The waiter never checked on us (instead to ask if we wanted to order desert). I received my bill and had an extra charge for rice (which I had given to my kids). I complained about this extra charge and the waiter came back and said sorry for the inconvenience, but you still have to pay for everything. This dinner was a total bust, not to mention ruined my daughter’s birthday dinner. I rarely complain about food in a restaurant and have never given no tip to anyone. The waiter received no tip. I don’t mind paying for good food and service, but this set a new low bar.
I have always trusted open table reviews, which I use all the time. I wonder how Kimo’s is so highly rated? I guess I might have caught them on a bad night with one of the worst waiters I have ever had anywhere. I couldn’t even find a manager to complain to.
Place is pretty because of the views and the fact that is from water restaurant! Service was good but I did not find the food delicious or espectacular or special. Our meals were just ok! So, go for the views but for the food is just ok!
Our waitress seemed to be in a hurry all night and wasn’t friendly or particularly helpful which just set a negative tone for the whole experience. Food was ok but certainly not spectacular and not worth the price.
We come to Kimo’s every year when we visit Maui. Always a treat. We love the ambiance for our young and now teenage kid family.
This is an outstanding restaurant right off front street that offers an amazing array of delicious fresh caught fish. Waiter choices were excellent, the sauces, taste and presentation is second to none. I'm coming back again!

Laura the Magnificent Hostess arranged a perfect Lanai side upstairs table for us. Aaron was a wonderfully polite and attentive Server and the food was excellent and prepared perfectly as always. We love Kimo’s and the TS Restaurant family!!

We dine here every year when we are on Maui. Every dish is delicious and the service is outstanding.
The food lived up to the hype at this location. Rather than just resting on the view being what you're paying for the fresh fish (we had opa and mahi mahi) were both delicious; the latter we had Kimo's style. Service was attentive with there not only being a water person, your waiter but also a person who's sole job was to get your drink order and bring that. They were quick and efficient about it! The icing was the Hula Pie - that alone was worth going there for the visit!
