Kimo's Restaurant Maui
Need to book at 7:15 AM?Other great restaurants with availability.
Great food and great service!!
View, service and food were great... a bit noisy (the live music didn’t add anything to the experience and was actually a bit annoying)
Much smaller plates. Fish was dry
Our tradition is for our first dinner on island is at Kimo’s we start with Mia Tai’s in the bar and enjoy sunset dinner on the railing. The view and food never disappoints and of course we save room for Hula Pie. Last night’s entree took much longer than usual to arrive so our meal was almost 2 hours but hey we were on Maui time!
As always, Kimo's lives up to their own reputation.
The location and ocean view are outstanding, the food and beverages are great, especially the seafood. A must if you get to Lahaina.
We had a perfect last dinner on Maui at Kimo's. Josh provided great service, the water view table was the perfect location, and the food was amazing! The price of this memorable date was less than expected, especially in Hawaii.
Staff was great, the greeter at the door took care of us in a timely manner and did her best to accommodate our preferences. Wait staff was solid and attentive, but didn’t hover. They were busy on Valentine’s Day, but had a handle on making everything go smoothly.
Excellent food and service
Be sure to make reservations early enough to request a table with a good ocean view!
Awesome food and location. One of our favorites!
Everything was very good, but has been better. It was uncomfortably hot until the sun went down.
Food was great. Lettuce wrap app was excellent. I had the coconut crusted fish and wife had the ribs. Both very good. Our reservations were at 5:00 which is a very busy time so yes, it was noisy, but expected. Hula pie for dessert was also very good. Prices were a bit high, but we expected that. One should not be surprised if you look at the menu before entering. Only negative I could say would be the drinks were not the greatest. A bit watered down in my opinion.
We been going to Kimos for many when we visit Maui , always great
Lousy wait staff. Young man seemed lost and confused. A huge disappointment with a client dinner. Forgot about drinks. Very awkward service. It was hot out and we were dying of thirst. The food was terrible my room e was over cooked and yet cold. The veggies were raw. Not aldente and not cooked. The fish was Inedible.
I will say the clients loved the desserts.
We had a wonderful dining experience at Kimo’s. 3 out of 4 of us chose a different seafood entree and they were all delicious. We shared the pineapple cheesecake dessert and it was delicious! The service was great.
Just a suggestion, we wish you would bring back the sourdough dinner rolls.
Kimo’s never disappoints! Also, they had a fabulous singer the night we were there! One of the best I’ve heard! Made for an excellent night!
Overall experience was AMAZING!!! We were on the patio right next to the water...amazing views and our waitress Racquel was the SWEETEST! Told us a lot about the menu and what she recommended. We enjoyed Joan like Joanne for music that night...we actually ordered extra drinks and dessert because we wanted to stay and listen to her the whole time. Highly recommend and we will be back when we come back to Maui!
The ocean view is beautiful and the service is good. I really enjoyed the red snapper.
Next time in Maui will definitely visit. Great table with view.
Eveything was very good
We dined with a group of 8. Our server was attentive. Some had a drink and said they were good. The Caesar side salad was good, but $9.50 for that is too much. The entrees (fresh fish and steaks) were delicious, but the accompanying vegetables were cold. Overall a nice experience, but some room for improvement.
Bday. Excellent place. Love coming here
Our favorite place to eat lunch with a view in Maui. The servers are so friendly, and the food is great and reasonably priced. The sunset view is amazing too if you go at dinner time, but always remember to make reservations. The Hula Pie is fantastic!
Sasha was amazing
Our server Jim was GREAT!!! So helpful and attentive and the food was awesome. Definitely a new favorite while on Maui!!
Seated on time with an excellent view seat on the railing. cocktails were prompt. Appies and dinner was delicious for all 3 of us. Ribs, Fish, Chicken
Amazing time! Went for our anniversary dinner and got seated right on the water. Service was amazing (thanks Raquel!)and food was delicious
Our food was not very good. My husband had prime rib and it was very fatty. My Parmesan breaded ono was dry and over cooked. The vegetables were hardly cooked at all and were cold. Our baked potatoes were good. Our waiter did a good job and the manager helped me with my pepper allergy to make sure no pepper was in my meal.
Our bill was over $100 for 2 of us. We each had one drink. The restaurant was very noisy and we could hardly talk to each other. It was not a good value for our money!
We have been to Kimo’s many times before. The food is always very good but last night we had horrible service. Out waiter Jeff approached the table and immediately wanted to take our order. He did not ask if we wanted any drinks not did he tell us about any specials. Out water glasses remained empty the majority of the meal— the food was good but Jeff was off his game and made the meal very unpleasant . He really needs to work on his customer service. We waited for our table and had a drink at the bar, George the bartender was fantastic.
I had dinner at Kimo's many years ago and ordered prime rib. It was great. It was my wife's birthday so I decided to make reservations a month in advance. I was hoping we would get a table out on the edge looking at the ocean. Instead we got a table in the back. Honestly, the food wasn't that great. Average. We both ordered fish, and it wasn't that good. It was good, but not the "wow" experience we were hoping for. We had dinner at a couple of restaurants that were well known prior to our dinner at Kimo's, and it just didn't compare. Drinks were good. Service was great, but food (Mahi Mahi) wasn't that good. I would recommend Lahaina Fish House (a couple of doors down) that we happened to stumble on earlier in the week. We both were "Wow'd" by Lahaina fish House. Sorry Kimo's...but it just wasn't a good experience for us
Our go to dinner spot when we vacation in Maui. Consistently good food, great location and great service
We visit here at least once a year and enjoy our dinning experience. Vegan selection is very limited, more or better choice would be appreciated. Staff are very helpful and polite but there is only so much one can do with what is on the menu. We will be back, Karl & Anke
My family and I truly enjoyed our dinner. We each chose a different fresh fish of the day with a different preparation and shared a bite or two with each other. They had live music and we sat by the water and enjoyed every minute of our experience.
