Excellent food and a great view. We ate there the night before Lāhainā was devastated by fire. Hope the staff, the restaurant and town are able to recover.

Great for families and casual dining. Service and food was slow during dinner time. Clam Chowder was good, Veggie Dip was a miss. Lobster was great, Ono Fish was overcooked. Great kids menu options.

Awesome lunch experience! We had the coconut shrimp, poke stack, shrimp tacos, Monchong filet, and ended with mango mono pie. The Monchong was super buttery and the best dish for lunch! The server was amazing and super helpful explaining the dishes. Great views just put the cherry on top for the lunch.

Awesome atmosphere and absolutely delicious food! There were six of us and there wasn’t one mediocre meal in the bunch! It was all fabulous! Lobster tails were phenomenal!

Everything was fine. Only comment was my cheeseburger I ordered. Our server said "is medium okay"?. I said perfect. It was WELL DONE. She mentioned nothing about replacing it or that she was sorry. So i asked for extra special sauce and ate my lunch.

The food is tasty but the portions were very little and doesn’t worth the price. I had the Kimo style mahi mahi , super tiny piece of fish almost 3 bites and the rice is so little. It was a big disappointment and left hungry.

Absolutely great dinner! Excellent food, great service, amazing sunset view right on the water. Highly recommended. Tip: make a reservation after researching your sunset time, check in early & request a great sunset view. Then spend a little time browsing the Lahaina area.

Kimo’s was a great dinner spot. We were seated along the water and our server was attentive and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and prepared quickly as well. However, beware of the gypsy woman walking around with a basket of leis. She approached our table and presented us with lei necklaces. I honestly thought it was something the restaurant did as she was in the restaurant so I figured she wasn’t a separate business. She then tells me the lei necklaces are $30. When I said I didn’t want it anymore she proceeded to say “that’s not how this works”. Mind you I had this necklace on my neck for a minute tops. She continued on saying “no one has ever done this before” and all I can think is $30 for a lei necklace that will die tomorrow!? I got scammed, I’m sharing this so you don’t fall for it either!

Make reservations way in advance.. We booked for sunset, as did everyone else! The restaurant was packed, I was at first skeptical of the service and food quality. I was proved wrong! We finally were seated on the top floor with a great view of Lanai and the remaining sunset. Service was top notch, never a low water glass, food choices were great and quality was five star. Pricing moderate for Lahaina standards. We loved it and you must go. Persevere the first few check in minutes, knowing the hostess in charge is excellent! Give her a raise....

Of all the restaurants we went to during our ten day stay, this was our only “won’t come back”. Been coming to the island for decades and have been to Kimo’s many times. The service was slow and very disingenuous. The fish was over cooked on each plate but the calamari was very good. Again, won’t come back after this experience.

The music was very loud and the performer was giving history lessons. The food was average. my dish described the shrimp as jumbo but it was small shrimp. The specialty dessert was an ice cream pie which was low fat ice cream and nothing to rave about. The coconut shrimp was chewy. I would not recommend the food. The views were beautiful.

We had a great time and a delicious meal at Kimo’s. It’s a very lively scene so the noise is sometimes over the top but quieted down after 9:00. We were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation time on a very busy Saturday. The fish selections were all interesting representing Hawaiian cuisine. Our table tried two of them and pronounced them delicious. Our fourth diner opted for the teriyaki chicken and ribs. The ribs were falling off the bone and the chicken was juicy. We topped it all off with Kimo’s Hula Pie. One serving is big enough for multiple people. It was delicious! We would certainly recommend a visit.
