   I been to Khyber a few times last year and the service and food was excellent. However this time when we went to the Restaurant, not only we had to wait almost half hour for our order to be taken and when the food arrived it, the waiter just threw the dishes on the table before us and the food did not look appealing at all. The lamb tikka was so hard and chewy. The 3 way chicken which was my favourite starter before, this time turned out not only looking terrible but was almost non edible. What a disappointment. When the seafood biryani came, we requested to take out the mussels as we do not eat mussels, however, they also took out the monk fish and put some fried calamari in, instead of friend tempura squid. We asked them what happened to the fish and they became aggressive towards us and started stirring and digging the dishes, we almost walked out. Moreover the chicken Chettinad was not anything like what was stated in the menu and it came in a very small dish unlike the other mains. We ordered mushroom biryani and they served us plain biryani. The only dish that was good was the lamb shank. After this bad experience, we may never go back to Khyber again.

   It continues to be good at the Khyber. Nothing really much to moan about. Will be interested to see what other people think about lamb dishes on the menu, though. My palette isn't bad but is it lamb or beef in the coconut lamb curry..?

   It was just yummy. Absolutely yummy. The vegetarian options are really good and the menu is much more adventurous than your standard Indian restaurant.

   Although even with the discount I thought it was quite expensive I really enjoyed my meal The Coconut Lamb Curry was so tender and delish. The calamari starter was a little strange but chicken tikkas were a big size and really tasty. Would definitely return x

   This was another excellent meal my wife and I had at the Khyber. It's hard to beat in terms of top quality high street Indian cuisine. All the dishes are expertly prepared and very tasty. With friendly staff who are eager to accommodate any special requests, this is always a really enjoyable culinary experience for us. Definitely a restaurant that we would rate very highly on a consistent basis.

   Went here for a family meal. Waiters as well as owner were very welcoming. Good range of dishes. Did not have to wait long for the food. When it did arrive it had the right balance of spice and flavour without being too hot. With the 2 for 1 offer on starters and mains, the final bill was very reasonable. Will definately be going again!

   A group of six took advantage of the OT offer of 2 for 1 on starters and mains, this offer represents exceptional value for money in what is one of the better Indian restaurants in Croydon. The trio of chicken starters and meat mix platters which the group choose as ther starters were all verty good, the quality of the food continued into the mains and everybody expressed their satisfaction at the end of a good meal.
