Keystone Ranch Restaurant
Closed Sunday and Monday
We had such a wonderful time. The food was great, the service was spectacular. They have a Christmas tree set up on the original part of the restaurant and our server offered to take a picture of our family. They really made it a special time.
Consistently provides exceptional food with warm, hospitable service. Catrina made our anniversary night very special!
We have been waiting to eat here and when it finally opened for the season it did not disappoint. My steak was perfectly cooked and melted in my mouth. The wine selection was great and our waitress Katrina was very knowledgeable and friendly. My favorite part of the meal (other than my steak 🤤) was when we got to take our dessert in the lounge and sit in from of the fire with a cup of coffee. This was perfect and we can’t wait to come back this winter!
Amazing food! Great service with Brandon. Really loved every part of my meal. Highly recommend for special occasions.
Dim the lighting in the dining room & especially dim lights even more in the dessert room. Never use halogen bulbs in restaurants! Its a blue light, not a warm one.
Use real flowers on the table not fake ones. The fake flowers everywhere were actually in water too(!)! Yall'could kill'it so much more if you could nail the ambiance.
Use real candles as well, not fake ones!..There are ways to get around doing these that barely cost a thing too so cost is not an excuse!! Let me know if you need help. This is what I do.
Its falling short of keeping up with the times..teetering on looking and feeling like an old persons home and cafeteria.
Good luck! ..food was delish, service was excellent!
WE ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE of being at the Keystone Ranch. My boyfriend parents were in town and we had heard good things about this place thru friends. Best decision we made by far, as they were super impressed with this place. Will, was our server. He was outstanding, knowledgeable and friendly. For desert we got up from the table and went to the "living room" were we indulged in some of the best we have ever had. And of course some after dinner brandy. Overall experience was a 10/10. We will be back!
Excellent food and outstanding service. Very nice views of the course and autumn foilage.
The evening was wonderful! Our waiter was friendly and very knowledgeable of the ingredients and preparation of the dishes.
I have added Keystone Ranch Restaurant to my frequent list!!!
Our evening at the Ranch was absolutely wonderful. Brandon, our waiter, was fantastic! Each course was served at the proper time, and Brandon was quite attentive to our needs without being obtrusive. The food was excellent, and we loved being able to tell the chef as much. The Ranch has wonderful atmosphere and it is always a pleasure to have dessert in the back room by the beautiful fireplace. Thank you for a lovely evening!
Wonderful meal, setting and service at Keystone Ranch! Join friends in Dillon for a wedding and had dinner here the night before. Such a lovely setting and a nice surprise to eat dessert in the oldest part of the ranch.
The food and atmosphere are the absolute best in Keystone and surrounding areas. It is expensive, but you are paying for the atmosphere and experience of dining in an original farmstead for the area. Highly recommend.
Catrina was very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. We were celebrating our anniversary and we are long time locals who haven't been to The Ranch since it was a prefix menu. The menu is still wonderful and the atmosphere is romantic.
The food was amazing! Make sure you have dessert in the original homestead. Only complaint was our waitress was terrible. Acted as if she didn’t want to be there. We could hear others explaining the history of the restaurant and area- we had to ask another waiter to tell us- asking for more bread was like we had asked for a specialty item that requires a lot of work. Loved the food, gorgeous setting- just wish we would have had any other waiter from the restaurant serve us.
Good food, great ambience and service. If you order the bison, take your waiter/waitresses advice and get it rare instead of medium rare. I would definitely dine here again. Thanks for the evening.
Service was slow. Our server forgot to bring a knife and bread crisps for the charcuterie platter. Charcuterie included excellent cheese selections. Great value for three of us. Steaks were overly seasoned. Lobster tail was overdone and also difficult to remove from shell. Lamb chops excellent and well prepared. Ordered soufflé with meal but we still waited at least 45 minutes in the dessert room for it to arrive. We will not return. A shame, as the setting is quite beautiful.
The ambiance is always excellent but the food has absolutely gone downhill.
2 meals were credited off the bill since they were so bad and over cooked especially the Buffalo Steak.
Keystone Ranch was always a special place but not anymore!!
Started out bad with undrinkable martini. Next was very over salted soup and a wedge with very little dressing and no real blue cheese. We advised waitress and she said, well , we have culinary “students” preparing those dishes. But not to worry, the sous chef will be preparing the entree’s. Didn’t get any better. One of the lamb chops was inedible and the short ribs were DRY. We left the lamb chop and took the short ribs home to our dogs. We were never asked why we didn’t eat our meal. We were then asked if we wanted dessert. NO THANK YOU.
This place needs severe lessons in hospitality and of course meal preparation. We had eaten at 10 restaurants in the area and this one ranks 11. We won’t be back.
Really great food. Our waitress was amazing. The history and the uniqueness of the property was fun. Eating dessert in the original house by the fireplace was really special.
Steaks and sides were excellent. Wine and cocktails were tops. Dessert the waiter recommended was just fair.
Excellent service. Beautiful, classic mountain lodge setting with oversized windows overlooking a stunning golf course setting. Just perfect in every way! Was thrilled to find some VERY special wines on the list!
We had a wonderful family experience. This night was the celebration of a splendid week of our family and the live we have for one another.
My husband and I had an incredible experience at the Keystone Ranch Restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was superb, and the atmosphere was romantic. I had the scallops, which were buttery and perfect. My husband had the wagyu ribeye, and it was to die for. The soups were fantastic and the dessert experience was fantastic. The server came over to sing happy birthday, and we enjoyed our dessert warm and cozy by the fire place. The transportation to and from Keystone Resort was an added perk! We will definitely be back!
The food was absolutely amazing, particularly the steak! Great view of the mountains from our table, and I really liked that even though this is a fine dining restaurant the dress code is casual, especially after a long day of skiing.
Great food. Excellent service.
The food was terrific. Pretty much everything about the meal was great. Our service was a little bit slow, almost two and a half hours for two adults and two kids to have dinner. Having dessert by the fireplace in the living room was nice. Kids enjoyed their meals as did the adults. Is it expensive, yes but you are on vacation in a posh setting so that was expected and was not shocked at the bill. Overall I would say that it was worth the money for a delicious meal.
Nice setting. Good transportation to and from the keystone resort.
Now for the food, appetizer was food. Main entree was ok (buffalo tenderloin), although ordered medium rare, it was a good medium.
Obviously there were sone issues in the kitchen as not all the entrees arrived together and the soufflé dessert was apparently deflated twice. Got the chocolate bomb. Was also ok but definitely not wow and definitely not worth the price tag that came with it.
All in all, good setting but the food, albeit ok, was not wow and definitely not worth the price tag. Would not return and would only recommend the visit rather than the food.
Great dinner! My husband and I were in Keystone for a quick ski weekend getaway! Loved the comp driver service offered. We each ordered a starter and split the large ribeye. It was more than plenty to go along with the delicious bread they offer and the Bottle of wine we ordered. At first a kitchen staff brought our steak in one plate and the waiter quickly came to explain he put in on purpose to avoid us having to pay the split fee. That was nice! And even though we didn’t order dessert, our waiter offered to let us finish our wine by the fireplace with complementary dessert bites. The original homestead with the fire is great! Will come back again!
Great food. Generous portions Attentive friendly service. You feel like you are dining with family. Great views. Cozy atmosphere
My better half accidentally ordered tenderloin instead of fillet, so later when she claimed it was weird shaped and tougher, I told her I was surprised she ordered it! Everything else was good, the souffle is awesome!
Outstanding restaurant! Great service, great food. Awesome wine selection. Views to die for! We will be back for sure.
Our waiter was John he was awesome. I love this place! Can't wait to come back next year
My husband and I dined at Keystone Ranch during our recent ski vacation. Our meal was one of the best we’ve ever had - starting with assorted fresh beds and the house made gnocchi appetizer, which was light and very tasty. I had the tenderloin filet, brussel sprouts, and sweet potato puree and my husband had the chef’s special poached whitefish and risotto. Everything was perfectly prepared and presented. The house special Souffle came highly recommended by our driver (complimentary transportation to and from the restaurant if you’re staying at Keystone resort). Dessert is ordered before dinner and served in the ranch living room in front of a huge stone fireplace. Delicious Grand Marnier Souffle with a pistachio sauce was a perfect ending to an amazing meal. The service was spot on, and the setting was beautiful. The only negative ... with prices in the $60-$75 range per person for appetizer, entree and dessert it is a bit much to tack on a $6 appetizer plate sharing charge - aren’t appetizers meant to be shared? Keep your prices high and your food fabulous and let your guests share as they will.
Great service as usual!
We enjoyed our date night thoroughly! We ate there a few summers ago. We decided to give it another try. I'm so glad we did. It was a much better experience this time😁 New chef??
Had a wonderful dinner with family to kickoff our annual ski trip. The food was delectable (try the Wagyu and the brussels sprouts) and service was impeccable.
Excellent food and service.
Amazing experience dining at the Ranch! Fantastic food and service. Definitely use the free shuttle they provide.
Excellent. We were a large group of 13 people, and they had a separate room for us, with great service, outstanding food and timings. Best experience in Keystone. Highly recommended!
Incredible ambiance and delicious food! Ask about the fireplace I the original portion of the building. Highly recommend the soufflé! Mike was an amazing waiter!
