   Lovely ambience and great value set menu. Restaurant a little too hot and loud for a totally comfortable dining experience but we land a lovely time.

   Table of five. We were brought the wrong bottle of wine (£30 more expensive), one of our starters arrived ten minutes after the others, and one main course was wrong and took another ten minutes to switch, by which time my meal and my appetite had gone cold. Shambolic. Won’t be going back.

   Such a lovely venue and the set menu is perfect for pre or post theatre. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive and the place has a lovely buzz about it in the bar whilst the restaurant is quiet and relaxed. We both enjoyed the 3 course set menu but if I have one little criticism I would have preferred the tuna to be freshly cooked for the tuna niçouse salad instead of shredded and cold. All other dishes were delicious.

   Lovely romantic setting with great service and options for a variety of budgets- the set menu is lovely as well as the wider menu.

   Lovely place to catch up with friends in the heart of Soho. Peaceful enough to talk properly but still welcoming and atmospheric.

   I used to go to Kettner’s in the 1980’s when it was a pizza/pasta joint where you could continue drinking til late with a pizza to soak up the booze. I was interested to see what it was like in its new iteration as an upscale French Bistro, so booked a table to celebrate my Person’s birthday. The service was absolutely brilliant. Right from the doorman to the greeter to our waitress and drinks server, everyone was so kind and polite and genuine. The decor and lighting and live pianist were also wonderful. There was a really lovely and special atmosphere. The food was divine- cheese soufflé perfect and Steak Frites that only the French can do well normally was fully up standard to what we hoped. Alas it was the noise that really spoiled the whole experience. It was SO loud. Everyone was shouting at each other at the top of their voices and I couldn’t hear my partner or the waitress at all. It meant we rushed through dinner and left as soon as we could. Not sure how you deal with that but I wouldn’t go again during prime time service. Would def try it again on a weekday or lunch though.

   They were very accommodating and when we had to leave for our 7 pm curtain, served us the rest of our dinner after the theater.
