We stopped in for one last meal in Po'ipu before heading to the airport. It was a fairly early dinner after a late (large) brunch, so we kept it light. My wife got the fish tacos and I ordered the nachos with Kalua pork. Her fish tacos were good, but my nachos were only OK. Keoki's is one of our regular spots when on Kauai, and we've always been happy with it, so I'll chalk this average visit up to being because we weren't really there for a full meal.
Great food and music
Great atmosphere; tables well apart, so no COVOD concerns. Menu greatly reduced from when we were here last year, but the food quality was still there, and the service was very good. Our waitress was a sweetheart; the Onion Soup did lack some depth of flavor, but everything else (Caesar Salad, Pork Ribs-fantastic-, and the Coconut Shrimp were excellent). Make a reservation!
P.S. No longer have a separate Happy Hour menu in the Bar : (
Beautiful restaurant with very good food. I did the Chef's Tasting Menu which was perfect for me. We will return.
Nice experience, top of the line!
My score on service is a reflection of the hostess at the door. Our waitress was a charming young lady from South Carolina. The hostess treated me like I was a student being set aside by mother superior. I was pushing my husband in his wheelchair up the ramp and I politely asked the folks waiting if they had reservations and they let me advance in line. The hostess was smug and made me step aside and wait while she sat everyone else. I wouldn’t have mind waiting but I did recent the hostess and her manor of handling the situation. The food was good and so was the atmosphere.
We did chefs dining menu. Delicious calamari and Kahlua pork fries. Ribs were fine and Keokis fish was very flavorful on colorful tasty rice pilaf. Hula pie was my husbands favorite part of the meal. Made a nice photo too! Attentive service made for an enjoyable dining experience!
We make a visit to Keoki’s anytime we are visiting Kauai. We like the ambience. We are celebrating our wedding anniversary this week and they treated us to a complimentary hula pie. The food was good as always, although the fish was perhaps a bit more dry than I would hav preferred. But all in all a solid meal.
Even in Covid times this place is just as magical as ever!
Good good as always.
Our server may have had too many parties to handle at once. There were a couple of times we were left waiting with utensils down and plates moved to table edge and our server never came by. First time this has happened to us so we will continue to patronize Keoki's Paradise.
I wish I could give it zero stars. Annoyed at us for having a late reservations. Claimed they were out of many things, including the signature muffins that make this TS restaurant. Waitress went on and on about skeleton staff and ingredients because of Covid. Made me feel like I was eating a $32 piece of frozen ono- and honestly it kind of tasted that way. Food was luke warm. I will never go back.
The salad and onion soup were delicious—so, needless to say, we were quite disappointed when the entrees arrived and they were nothing special foe the price. The fish of the day was dry and over cooked and we couldn’t even cut the bok Choy that came with it with the knife they gave us. They had an inadequate number of servers, especially with where the kitchen was in relation to our table. It was hard to get their attention and told a long time to have them bring back something. They really missed the boat because i was celebrating my actual birthday and not only did we include that with the reservation, but discussed it with the hostess. Yet, not one acknowledgement from our server. The musician made the evening for us and increased my rating.
Excellent fish tacos. Friendly service.
Absolutely gorgeous and perfect for our family celebration dinner.
Coming to Kauai for 30 years and never came to this place. Beautiful inside---very tropical looking. Food was a huge, wonderful surprise. Service was by wait staff who had been manager but with covid........She was awesome and much fun!
I can't say too much positive. Would for sure go back.
Great dishes included coconut shrimp, poke, seafood risotto, various crusted fish. Desserts great too.
So nice to sit outdoors-ish! received great service from Keenan, and really enjoyed the seafood risotto. Thanks!
We have always made a point of going to Keoki’s every year , and the wait service was very good. But 3 of our 4 dinners were served cold, and when my wife finally got the replacement for her Ono back, it was so overdone that is was dry and inedible. By that time, everyone was done with their meal. The server was kind enough to comp her meal and throw in a Hula Pie, which we appreciated.
We just did not have a friendly waitress. She was very brisk and not helpful. Food was average.
We had a reservation and were glad we did. My husband and I were seated right away. My husband ordered the pork ribs and they were a little dry. We were surprised since so many people ordered them. Our waitress was also surprised and said he should have said something right away and she would have taken care of it. He didn't think that was necessary. I had the seafood risotto which was delicious. We definitely would go back.
Not up to Keokis normal standards. Very green staff, though pleasant. Slow service, ran out of prime rib early. We had a 5:45pm reservation. Table not cleared before entrees arrived. Had to ask for steak knifes for filets. Took 10 minutes for knifes. Filets overcooked, but good. Smaller portions than normal.
When we arrived I was a little nervous about the crowd outside, but then stoked when we got seated right away since we had a reservation.
Tables are generally spaced out and the entire staff was correctly wearing their face masks.
The panko and nut crusted fish was amazing! It was flakey and non-fishy!! Make sure you save room for the Aloha pie!! Incredible decadence!! Definitely would eat here again!! Yummy.
Last night on the island was very special with an excellent meal at your restaurant. It was exactly what we needed to say goodbye. Besides the great food and of course the “Hula Pie” to finish the experience, the musical entertainment was phenomenal as well. The singer took our request and acknowledged our 20 year anniversary. Thanks for everything and we’ll be back soon!!
Food is not very good.
One of our favorites! Food is great, atmosphere beautiful and the staff is very friendly.
So extraordinary we went right back for more! It’s a “must dine” if you’re in Kauai!
Beautiful setting. Service was very good and food was excellent. If we are ever back in Kauai, will definitely stop again.
Wow! When we first saw the outside of the restaurant, we expected a pleasant dinner. When we entered, we were amazed at its size and beauty!
Great food, extraordinary experience! We will be back!
Disappointed is the key word. The waiter kept disappearing and the food was all wrong. They had to bring three separate drinks to satisfy one order. The fish was ordered with the sauce on the side but the waiter didn’t order it that way so it came with the sauce on it. The risotto was cold on the top but hot on the bottom. It must have been on a warming table. All in all the worst dining experience on Kauai.
Delightful experience and lovely setting. They took ample steps to make us feel comfortable with visit protections in place.
The pancake and seafood omelette was good but the prime rib and loco didn’t do it for us. Server was accommodating and patient. Thanks
Came here for date night. The food was incredible. Server was funny.
