Hula Pie Shake
A liquid version of our famous kimo's hula pie
The pineapple carrot muffins with cinnamon butter were delicious. I had the mahi dinner with brussels sprouts and sweet potato mash. The fish was very good the brussels sprouts were burnt and I asked to have them replaced. They came back with very nice looking brussels sprouts. The sweet potato mash was not great. My husband had the raw tuna which came with mushrooms , heart of palm ,mashed potatoes. His tuna was half good , half grizzly. His mashed potatoes were OK. All in all not a very great dinner for $100. We also got the Caesar salad which was $10. That was OK.
My wife and I enjoyed our 10th anniversary dinner last night. From the bartender to the hostess and waiter all staff were top notch and super friendly. I wish I could remember their names! We enjoyed 2 fresh fish specials and the kitchen hit it out of the park! We had a perfect night. I highly recommend this place. Make sure to make reservations ahead of time as they are busy!
Our Server was the best! Her recommendations were spot on.
One of the most beautiful restaurants with great food and service!
Beautiful place with good service and delicious food. Only drawback was the "13 oz" pork tomahawk ribeye was 8 oz of bone and 5 oz of meat so a little disappointed on that.
This Is one of those stops that everyone does when in poi pu. It’s a nice place and the staff are always nice. The food is really just ok, for the price. It wants to be great but missing on those deep flavors. We will keep coming here to support the local flavor.
We sat at the back of the restaurant closest to the other shops. It is an inside/outside restaurant and and there was someone smoking outside so our dinner smelt like cigarette smoke the whole time. Smaller portions, but good. The food was kind of cold when we got it.
The best are fave place to eat in south side of Kauai
Great ambience , enjoyable entertainment. Waitress was great
The singer was the highlight of the meal. Food was great.
We went there for my birthday. Well wishes as we come in. I order the ribs, and my husband orders the fresh fish that's been panko'ed and beurre blanc sauce, I believe. My serving was humungous, and my husband's serving was tiny. The food tasted great. It even tasted great for leftovers. The cost of my dish is of value, not my husband's. It is a fresh air experience, but the flies liked the BBQ sauce on my ribs. Glad we went; not sure if we'd go again.
Everything from the gorgeous setting to the great food and service was fantastic. Our waitress was the best. Our favorite restaurant on the island so far. We will be back.
I had the Keokis style fish entree. The swordfish was very good if a bit small and the little sauce garnish was delicious. There are no vegetables as a side. Only one small piece of bok choy and a scoop of purple yam which was very thick and heavy. I ended up asking for mashed potatoes instead and they were just a scoop plopped on a plate. I guess I expected a nicer presentation at such a popular restaurant.
Birthday celebration! Food is excellent, service excellent.
Food was just ok. I ordered the burger rare and it came out well done. My fiancé and I came there to celebrate our engagement. The hostess told us they would comp us a free slice of pie but that never happened. Ambiance is great but otherwise it was not a great experience
Nice open air setting. Delicious food and great service
Food was very good, atmosphere is great, music wonderful.
Wonderful birthday celebration for our brother in law, and appetizers, dinner an Hula Pie were delicious.
Food is not what it use to be very small portions had dinner there but it felt like bar food. Just the overall experience was lack luster. Not really service the waiter forgot our drinks then lied about it. Probably won’t go back there ever again. Im a local here from the island I used to love that place one of my favorite places on the south side. It’s a ashame that they are lettin it go down hill.
Food was amazing and server was great. Love the pineapple drink
What a beautiful environment. You would never know you are in a shopping center - more like a tropical paradise! The service and food were wonderful. I know everyone in Hawaii is struggling with enough employees, but they were all cheerful and kind. I would go back there again.
Love the pork nachos! Definitely coming back when we visit Kauai.
Server was pleasant and nice!
Perfection! Kaiken malbec wine
Carrot/ pineapple muffins and cinnamon sugar butter.Calamari strips and Kale salad. Keoki Style swordfish and Mac Nut swordfish.
Server Taylor....all perfection.
The Hawaiian swordfish was excellent, and the Hula Pie is a must try. Overall, excellent dining experience, highly recommend.
Service and live music were wonderful. The fish plates we ordered tended to be on the over cooked side. Usually the food here is outstanding. Maybe they were short staffed in the kitchen.
Waitress was very concerned about one of us with a food allergy. Food was good. Setting is very nice.
It was good but I didn’t take friends to eat in”Paradise” to be placed at a table in the bar. Select seating in restaurant closed, Covid? So let’s place people at a table in the bar, by hostess stand, and bar.
Design of food was excellent. Servers tried very hard, but they were significantly understaffed. So, food came out cold. A short wine list was made shorter by out of stocks.
Overall, effort was good — performance not good — which, for the price, was a disappointment.
Keoki's Paradise is a pleasant, informal spot. Sister restaurant to 'Duke's' with a similar menu. Two of our four enjoyed their Mahi Mahi fish. The filets were ok but not great. The good news includes the architecture, open and tropical. Our evening, there was a singer playing a range of popular tunes on his guitar and a nice addition.
For the overall value I'd return and recommend.
We loved our dining experience at Keoki’s Paradise! It’s definitely a must do in Poipu Beach, however BOOK EARLY!! reservations fill up fast and we were late to the game, but somehow managed to snag a later reservation on our last night on our honeymoon! My husband had the duo and I had the Mac crusted fish and both entrees were exceptional. The Maui onion soup was great along with the Caesar salad. We did not have room for dessert but I was told that we need to come back and try the hula pie. It was very busy and we tried walking in several times, so try to get a reservation early. It will not disappoint!
This was a fantastic restaurant. The husband dreams about the Hoisin rib starters. The coconut shrimp was amazing. I had the seared ahi which was superb. My son and hubby had the duo fish combo which they really enjoyed. Share the Hula pie for desert. It cannot be missed!
Great ambiance and live music that was relaxing. Lobster was excellent, the rest of my wife’s meal was bland. My order was brought out wrong, potatoes were bland, and filet was a bit overcooked and thin for a $44 filet. Last, we enquirer about increasing our reservation to four people to bring friends, but they said they couldn’t accommodate. There was plenty of staff and empty tables the entire time we were there-26 open seats when we left. Pretty dissatisfied after spending $200 on dinner.
The atmosphere inside was very nice and relaxing. The had live music. Our server Ben was excellent. The food was delicious.
Seated at reservation time and setting lovely. Waiter was excellent and very attentive to table.
Server was excellent. Food was good but not wow. Not hot when arrived. Hula pie perfect as always!
Before the meal we received muffins which normally are very good and warm but this time they were cold which makes them much less tasty. When we received our food two of the Hamburgers were burnt and tasted like they had been cooked on a very dirty grill the buns were also burnt. The chicken also tasted as if it had been cooked on a dirty grill and was burnt. The Ahi was cooked way to much an
