I checked my reservation with the concierge, but was told that I had not made a reservation and could not eat while watching the sunset. worst.
Mixed experience. Lots of crab legs available, sushi and salads were good. The short ribs were great. By 8.30 pm only remnants of the desserts were left - nothing was being replenished. Nice outdoor setting with live local music. Service was good.
Even with the discount from our hotel, we felt this was poor value.
I had a dinner on Saturday. I would have had more sea foods such as crabs , lobsters and fish.
It was amazing , my girlfriend really like the crab and the servers were really nice !
Dana was awesome! Enjoyed her customer service and made us feel welcomed.
Experience was great. At first when we returned to our table from the buffet line, our table was raked by another party. The great thing is they corrected it and seated us by the beach. Afterwards was a great experience. And our server was outstanding!
This was my first time using Opentable and it was easy and great to use. I did call to confirm that Kai received my Opentable reservation, since it was my first time using this type of platform, and i had a party of 20. Staff was friendly when i had questions about prices and buffet menu. The night of the dinner our servers were wonderful and very helpful. Our servers helped take our family photos and amset up a little tablenfor my fatherinlaws cake. Will definitely come back and reccomend to family and friends.
Enjoyed the wide variety. Would definitely go again. They kept replenishing the food.
We had a good time and the food was BOMB!!
It’s o k. Nothing outstanding
Was a little noisy and service wasn’t the greatest but food was good!!
The music was a little loud (senior citizen), but the wait help was great, the food was tasty and abundant. It was busy, but our waiter made sure that he took away the empty plates and had our drinks was always filled.
We would come here alot for different occasions. We haven't been back in a while and noticed the buffet has gone down hill. No oysters on a half shell: crab legs are freezer burned; prime rib was cold; shrimp was over cooked, chewy and cold...
Great selection of food, attentive service and a lovely location right next to the beach to watch the sun go down.
The food was orientated towards the Asian palette, which was fine by us as we love Asian food.
They also had Ted's Bakery chocolate haupia pie in the dessert section. Yummy.
This place used to be really great! In fact, it was one of my favorite restaurants to go to in Waikiki. This last time I went, seems like they've really cut back on food quality and variation. There were no crab legs, no sushi, the main entrees were less than desirable. All in all, won't be back. Stinks too because the location is so beautiful. Also the price was nearly $60 a head. Bachannal at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas isn't even that much and that is wayyyyyy better than this place.
It was a really nice time to have dinner at the beachside. There were many choices of food and the seafood was delicious. We would like to visit here again next time.
I was expecting for king crab legs like what it says on your website. Only have snow crab legs. Not too many choices on the buffet line for the price of $61. Disappointed.
The crab was really small. They advertise the crab as being King Crab but they were just as small as snow crab when we went! We were really bummed out that the crab was small being that this was the main reason we choose this buffet instead of somewhere else.
We are not picky eaters nor do we stuff ourselves. But, we sure did at Kai Market! Definitely took advantage of the Seafood AYCE buffet. The desserts were also outstanding. The other non seafood dishes were also great but few options. So, if you go on seafood buffet night, be ready for a lot of seafood! There was live entertainment coming from the Edge bar which was right outside of the Kai Market seating area. We also watched the sunset. Gorgeous.
Great food and the outdoor environment.
Food was great, service was great.
But it was a night with no breeze so the restaurant was really warm
I reserved in advance so we didn't need to wait, and to start dinner quickly.
The foods were various and delicious.
We are satusfied.
Great variation of seafood, from farm to table. They use a lot of locally grown vegetables and freshly caught fish. Love their fresh ahi sashimi and shoyu poke. Their clam chowder is to die for. Very sweet and full of bits of clams and seafood. Their prime rib station is delicious, love medium rare and that's what I got. Choice of large crab legs and Kauai crispy shrimps. Dessert station was full of various kinds of mochi, freshly made cakes and bread pudding, help yourself ice cream station with all the toppings. Have to go back soon. Hungry to eat again.
Great food and service. The only thing that bothered me was that I was charged a service fee for party of 7. I had a table for 6 and requested space for my infant. Because they considered that as table for 7, I was charged the extra. I know it’s their rule or policy, but wished I was informed of that at time of booking and when they called to confirm the reservation. Other than that, everything else was great.
Very good experience. But I didn’t get a table that I want although I double checked with them one day before my reservation.
Great atmosphere for dining with some one you love. Sheraton and its sister properties gets '1 Adult gets 1 kid free' deal. Good value.
Garry was efficient, friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent. Free valet with restaurant validation for 4 hours! Thank you for making our first visit a pleasant experience. We will definitely be back! Mahalo Everyone!
Love this place for family gatherings!
Good customer service. Because bar is near, it becomes lively atmosphere in the evening. Easy to use even with children.I was able to have an elegant and enjoyable time.
LOVE LOVE the atmosphere, the food, the view, and the entertainment ❤️ THANK YOU so much to the live band for allowing our daughters to perform for their mama on her 60th bday and retirement celebration, it was a beautiful day ❤️
It was awesome for mom and me. Due to lack of the time, we couldn’t visit many good local places to eat like kahuku, poke, bakery and so on. However, we could taste all best dishes at Kai market. They provided fresh local food and it was really delicious!! You should come to eat crab from Fri to Sun.
For kamaainas the price is very reasonable for the buffet of crab legs and prime rib with lots of salads, sashimi and many desserts too.
