Very good experience. But I didn’t get a table that I want although I double checked with them one day before my reservation.
Great atmosphere for dining with some one you love. Sheraton and its sister properties gets '1 Adult gets 1 kid free' deal. Good value.
Garry was efficient, friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent. Free valet with restaurant validation for 4 hours! Thank you for making our first visit a pleasant experience. We will definitely be back! Mahalo Everyone!
Good customer service. Because bar is near, it becomes lively atmosphere in the evening. Easy to use even with children.I was able to have an elegant and enjoyable time.
It was awesome for mom and me. Due to lack of the time, we couldn’t visit many good local places to eat like kahuku, poke, bakery and so on. However, we could taste all best dishes at Kai market. They provided fresh local food and it was really delicious!! You should come to eat crab from Fri to Sun.
For kamaainas the price is very reasonable for the buffet of crab legs and prime rib with lots of salads, sashimi and many desserts too.
We had a party of 13, Kai mgr Kim helped me pre pick our seating , Gary was our waiter and everything was absolutely perfect. Thank you and we will definitely return.
Everything was good except for the fact that there were birds present.
The crabs are probably the only thing worth coming for. However, you have to ask politely for the guy serving them to give you more than 3 pieces at a time. I was expecting more variety in foods and the sashimi looked bad so I didn’t bother eating that or the poke. Overall, we were able to make reservations easily and the waiters were nice. We went for our anniversary dinner. They gave us a nice little dessert.
My second time there and I love it. Food is Ono.
Service is persistent. Didn't have to wait long to be seated at a table for 5.
I would recommend Kai Market to friends and family.. Well worth the money..
Food was much better than the last time we visited, especially the prime rib, crab legs, and desserts
Living on island for 5 years and we finally tried the dinner buffet since we had guest visiting from the mainland. We had a party of seven with reservations and received the kamaaina discount. The food was very onolicious and they also had a variety items to choose from. The dinner roll is the best carbs to have. You don't even need butter to eat it. Our server Walter was outstanding with excellent service. He always made sure our drinks were refilled and made sure dirty plates was taken off the table and newly utensils replaced. The sunset view is awesome, along with live music you can hear from the outside bar area. We will be returning to this place for sure and to also try their breakfast buffet. Mahalo!
Reasonable price for buffet dinner, beautiful atmosphere, awesome service, food was good except for the main thing we came for......the king crab legs, it was super dry!!!! Disappointed with the ctab legs. Wouldn't recommend this place to eat crab legs.
Kamainas get 25 percent off the usual rate of$60 per person, making it A very good deal. No oysters though. King crab legs but they are room temperature and somewhat dry so not that good. On the other hand, unless the crab legs are served chilled, everyone else's is also the same somewhat dry and room temperature which is never very good. Decent roll sushi but no Nigri. Good prime rib. Good salt and pepper prawns. Good onaga. Very good mochi. Not the best buffet on Oahu but very good for the price.
Kai Market offers an extensive choice of quality items on their extensive buffet. Quality of the food has been consistent and we enjoy it for the variety it offers. The crab legs however, are difficult to clean which makes it feel wasteful. In terms of service, we have had better service in the past. This past visit service was slower and we had to remind our server about our requests. In terms of ambience, the setting is beautiful however it is warm. Overall, it’s our choice of a place to celebrate special occasions with family and visitors.
Every thing was super good. The food, entertainment, service,
Atmosphere perfect. My family really enjoyed!
The food was okay. There was crab legs but it was dry. Not a whole lot of food to choose from.
Somehow it wasn’t a real treat like it has been in years past. Maybe we just picked the wrong night with an average selection but we didn’t walk out looking forward to our next visit like we usually do.
Early Father's day dinner with family
Great view and atmosphere but little disappointed on food. Great shrimp though. Foods are more Japanese taste.
The staff was amazing and the food likewise. Will go back for sure.
Delicious food and great service👌🏻
We will definitely be back!! Great food and costumer service was the best experience I’ve ever have!! But most definitely the food was the bomb!
The best buffet on the island...highly recommend! The freshest ingredients!
good variety, but not quality items exc for crab legs. very busy, had to wait before entree line shorter. allowed us time to finish meal & socialize. Kamaaina rate covers tax/tip.
Who would not like views of the water while enjoying a great buffet-the Music was nice but hard to hear and see the dancers-better acoustics sitting on the other side of the bar in front of the pool:)
Exceptional service and food. On the water, perfect.
There food is just so so but view is really good and mood is good.
Food was good, but it was hot in there when its crowded. The heat distracted us from enjoying the food. I guess because it's open to the outdoor area the AC wasn't holding in there. Waiter could of been more considerate regarding our bill. We had a big party, over 40 ppl and he made it all on one bill. He could of split by at least the 3 tables we had to make it easier for us. He wasn't being helpful in figuring our bill per person either. We took over 40 mins just to split the bill and collect payment from everyone.
Seems the food was not as tasty as in the past. Disappointed only 3 kinds of sushi, regular maki, inari and small California roll with the orange fish eggs on the outside. No nigiri sushi. Seafood chowder was delicious. Clams my favorite.
Great views of sunset! Thats the reason why we choose this restaurant and were not disappointed. Views were amazing. Staff was helpful and friendly. Through their knows about the buffet and menu was not good, I asked about some kids dishes to staff who bought us to table and she mentioned I don’t know (didn’t offered any alternatives or told us that she can check with supervisor etc). Food was good lot of meats and live counter of ox Tail soup was great. Overall we enjoyed the family dinner.
We were at Kia Markets for our 47 wedding anniversary and the table service from Andrea was outstanding and contributed greatly to our enjoyment of the night
Thank you John and Maureen
This review is for a weekend dinner.
Parking is a Sheraton Waikiki parking garage, free validation.
Kai Market has indoor and outdoor seating with live Hawaiian music and a hula dancer.
Fast and friendly service, ice tea, coffee, tea included with buffet.
Food - salad area included poke and ahi sashimi, bread with cheese area, seafood chower, entree area has steamed fish (opakapaka), king crab legs, laulau, roast beef, braised short ribs, Kauai shimp, clams and other items, dessert area included mochi, Ted Bakery pies, ice cream, and assortment of hotel made items. I would have to say lots of food to eat and select from.
It was a great buffet full of different variety of food from seafood to prime rib plus the desert was delious! Bring your family and enjoy the nice sunset and music!
