The food was good and the wait person and hostess were extremely nice. However it took over an hour for the food to come out and the outside umbrellas didn’t cover the tables very well. Food was good but we had to eat it in five minutes because after an hour of waiting we were running late.
Too loud. Food bad. No service. Terrible experience
Smoked Chicken Quesadilla is excellent! Calabacita Stuffed Poblano has a combination of roasted corn, mushrooms, black beans and pepper jack cheese making it a flavorful dish. We also enjoyed the Pueblo, El Pastor and Santa Fe Navajo Tacos. The Coinhouse margs were good, a bit limey, but that is because they have lime cointreau. Service was great!
The appetizers and Navaho tacos are a perfect meal size - like tapas for New Mexican food. Everything we had from the house margarita to the house guacamole, from the Navaho tacos to the asada steak - all were excellent. And fir a resort hotel restaurant, the prices are friendly!
Food and Bloody Mary's were very good.
It is always good but they have gotten rid of a lot of the vegetarian options that we used to go for.
i have eaten here before and it was much better. Way too hot in the restaurant and the food was only ok. Very dissapointed.
Excellent and fast service! Beautiful scenery and theme of the restaurant is gorgeous. Definitely recommend
Food came out cold, as if the kitchen can’t keep up with a full house
The thing that they’re known for most the puffy Indian tacos Is just OK. Barely have any meat in it compared to how big the taco shells is. The smokiness of the meat is overpowering and that’s coming from somebody from Alabama who eats smoky food all the time. It’s OK to have a kiss of smoke on something when you say it’s small but this is like wait to much. Best thing about our meal was probably the kids chicken strips that my daughters got
When we arrived we were told a table outside is first come first serve and they only had tables inside. Then the hostess asked if we still wanted to eat there. I said if it’s our only option than yes. Just came off bothered we were still dining even though our request wasn’t possible. Later to find out we could’ve still dined on a couch outdoors with a full menu. Food was not what it used to be. Maybe they changed the menu after the pandemic.
Food is ok, service is slow, drinks weren’t great. Cute place though!
We had a great experience. This was our first time here and enjoyed everything we ate. The corn/quacamole and the Tamitillo Salsa with chips are a must have. My husband had the enchiladas 😋! My daughter had the burger with fries. I have to say I had some fries and they were sooo good. My mom had the tacos! Wow and I had the Adabo Steak. All sooo good. Also, the Margaritas were made very well. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a great experience and service
Service was very slow and extremely rude. High prices, not worth the wait for your food or the nasty service. And management didn’t seem to care either. We’ve been coming here for years, what a shame. Skip this place.
It was such a nice dinner! And everyone was so friendly! Me and my friends will be back for sure! Thanks
Great food, felt like they took good safety measures, great service!
Service really bad. Will not go back.
Good service and tasty New Mexican flavor. Navajo tacos and cowboy beans were very good. Stacked chicken enchiladas were great. Guacamole and warm chips were delicious as well as great presentation of fantastic chili chocolate beignets. No valet parking yet. Dinner was excellent!
Kachina accommodated our large birthday table and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Food was delicious.
Order was taken wrong, waitresses had a bar piercing in nose , distracting, food was not authentic and over priced.
Service was spectacular and the food was a total let down. The mimosa deal was good though.
Fantastic service from Frank! Great food and atmosphere.
I really like the patio here, and the food is consistently good. Not many nice patios in the north area, so I am glad to have this choice
The adult beverage was just ok. The roasted salsa was just ok it didn’t have enough heat and tasted sweet.
My salad was good but it would of been even better with black beans and cilantro lime dressing. Instead of the large sliced green olives 🫒 it would of been better with small sliced black olives.
The outside tables need to be replaced...a bit worn out. The server was good, but a bit slow....probably due to staffing. The food was excellent
I came in and gave name and time of reservation. I was seated at a table but became aware shortly thereafter that my friends had already been seated under my name/reservation and were sitting in the back of the restaurant......not very good to be so disorganized, but the food was really good once served.
We've been going to Kachina for years. Our favorite is the fry bread tacos, especially the duck, pork, and shrimp! Unfortunately, on our last visit they changed the menu and no longer have the duck. Turns out they also changed the pork and shrimp. The ingredients are different than what they were. Not nearly as good. Just okay. The service was pretty good and food came quick. Will give it a second chance, but not loving the changes for sure.
We love the Navajo fry bread tacos. Nice Margaritas and very nice service. Make reservations- usually a busy place. Nice outdoor space too.
We had to flag down a server several times for refills on our drinks and for the check. Ive had good device before, so hoping they just were having a rough day. The food was also sub par. Had huevos rancheros for brunch which was ok, but was swimming in the ranchero sauce. It was too much.
Food was great. Service staff did an amazing job considering the was an event at the hotel. I would highly recommend Kachina. The Adobo strip steak was great, scallops got a rave review from my companion. House beignets are not to be missed.
Our service was excellent, but we wish our food had been as good. Have been coming to Kachina for a long time, and all 6 of us were pretty disappointed with our meals. Hopefully it was just an off night.
We live in Denver, and come to the Westin every couple months for a stay-cation and to just have a close getaway. This was our first time checking out the in house restaurant. Since we were there celebrating Mother’s Day, I chose to eat at the restaurant for breakfast and I was super excited. Totally regret my anticipation. Service was VERY slow. We were almost finished with our meal before anyone checked on us, so no refills or extra syrup which my kiddos wanted. Food that came was not what we ordered but we kept it anyways because my kids were hungry. Some parts in the bottom of the pancake were over cooked. Definitely not the value or quality for what we paid. We are very aware that Covid has made things different and difficult in these times, but I would highly advise this restaurant to go out and see how other restaurants are thriving and able to still give amazing customer service during these times. Unfortunately with the service we received and the quality of the food, we will not be coming back and will not recommend it. The only advantage this restaurant has is that it’s in the Westin so foot traffic will always be available. If this was a standalone rest, I would forecast it wouldn’t stay in business long.
Every time we come to Kachina we’re extremely impressed! We ordered and finished our food within 30 minutes. The ambiance is perfect for a date! Their drinks are so yummy, and the food is to die for. Both me and my boyfriend have Kachina on our favorite date spot list!
I was excited to try Kachina Grill. I enjoyed my Tacos very much – especially the Navajo flat bread. My husband had ordered chilly as it was listed as being not spicy, however at the spice was enough that he could not eat the soup. The manager had clearly not staffed appropriately for the evening and my husband didn’t get a spoon for his chili until 15 minutes after asking for one. I would give this place another shot.
Best Happy Hour! I love the mini tacos!
Food, very good. Good proportions. Service, very informed. Clean.
Food was amazing as always! Servicer was great!
Great food and great service in a beautiful location
Ordered a plate that was supposed to include rice and beans—had to ask for those and one of the tacos was cold.
Service was excellent. Tacos and soup that my family had were great. I paid $27 for a steak that had obviously been sous vide which is fine, but when they threw it on the grill it didn't even get warm. Brussel sprouts on my plate were cold also. Go here at least once or twice a year and I felt like they took a big dip from the last visit. Hopefully it was a one off
