I absolutely love this place. But evidently I haven't been during high heat because this place has no A/C. It was absolutely roasting, which of course doesn't make you feel like eating the expensive food. We wasted a lot of food because we were just too hot to eat. Will will visit again, just not when it's so hot!

Burger was so over well done after ordering medium. Salad was overly spicy and not a joy to eat. Margarita was just not good, could not even finish it. Service was non existent

We were really disappointed in the classic guacamole; it's not as good as it used to be. Now it tastes like it is from a bag--not homemade/made to order. We asked for it to be spicy and they couldn't add jalapenos to it because it was already pre-made, so got jalapenos on the side. Entrees were ok, had the chimichanga and stuffed poblano. Fortunately the dessert was still the same--chocolate beignets w/caramel sauce.

We are from San Jose, CA, and stayed at the Westin Westminster Hotel for a conference July 5-9, 2023. We ate at the Kachina Southwestern Grill for breakfast every morning, some lunches, late afternoon meals, and meals at the bar and outside in the patio. Every time the food was delicious and delightfully flavorful, and the service kind, friendly and caring. We enjoyed the American Breakfast (excellent bacon), fruit bowl (fresh and tasty), fabulous pancakes (they have their own special batter), chicken BLT, Bison Taco Salad (the meat was so delicious!), and one of the best cheeseburgers we've ever had! The servers were just wonderful, couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. I would go out of my way to eat here again.

Not sure why reviews were so good. It was awful beginning to end. Had reservations and still had to wait. Had to ask for chips. Food took forever and it wasn’t great. Won’t go back.

The service was great but I would not recommend this place because of the food. My husband got green chili to go and while eating it the next day at home he found and large piece of sharp plastic in it, it also made him sick to his stomach same evening and the following day.

This used to be an outstanding Mexican restaurant. It’s basically pub food in a hot noisy environment. The waiter/bartender had his whole family in for Father’s Day (very cute) but service lacked accordingly. We won’t go back.

I used to love Kachina and would go regularly for lunch, dinner, brunch and happy hour. It was literally my HQ for all occasions. So many great memories there. However, the quality of the food and drinks has gone down over the past few years. First menu items were removed and then the overall quality and taste. It’s been disappointing as I still love the ambiance, location and service. Please up your game and return to your original ways. I’d love to come back for a great experience.

The food was just ok - I had a salmon salad and my husband had the poblano sandwich. We ordered corn guacamole, but the waitress forgot to bring it until after the entrees had been served. I asked for ice three times before it came. We ordered the beignets, and that took 20 mins. You need more staff!

It was the first time there for dinner for us. We've been several times before for brunch. 5 p.m. was a good time at the start of the dinner hours. Not too many people although it did get busier over the next 1 1/2 hours. Very good waiter/service. Food was good. We went with two friends to celebrate Mother's Day. Overall we had a very nice outing. Thanks

Food was very good but service was very slow I realize they where probably short staffed but when waitress passes you a few times and doesn’t even acknowledge you that’s not good service she gave us are dessert menu and passed us 3 times before she took are order not a good waitress doesn’t know how to manage her tables very well but at least are food was good .

There were a couple of kid competitions in town when we dined there…there was a girl’s dance competition and a boys baseball competition.. needless to say, the restaurant was loud with kids everywhere and their parents. The staff tried really hard but it wasn’t a peaceful dinner we were hoping for!

We went on Sunday for brunch. We sat outside and it was such a great experience. Our food was delicious and came out quickly. We also had some bloody Mary’s, perfection. The waiter was so kind and attentive. Overall excellent visit.

Used to be way better. The margs were still good! The food was not good at all. Nothing about the food is Mexican, and not even Tex mex, just low quality. Service was good not amazing. I used to love going for HH. Unfortunately won’t be going back

Our appetizer of guacamole didn’t come out ahead of the meal, it came out after our entrees arrived. My entree of fry bread tacos came out so cold that the cheese wasn’t melted at all and the chicken and pork in the tacos tasted like it had come straight from the refrigerator. Also the rice tasted and looked like they had scraped the last remnants from a buffet and put it on our plates. It was also cold. The only part of the meal that was edible was their beans, because they were the only part of our entrees that was even warm.

Had the fry bread taco and tortilla soup. The soup tasted a bit generic but the fry bread was amazing. The waiter was super attentive and didn’t come to the table so much in the way that makes me you feel smothered which was nice. I love drive ambiance of the place as well.
