The food used to be much better IMHO. The queso is average now and enchiladas also mediocre. Second time visiting in recent months and just so-so on food now. It was in our top 5 restaurants previously. I love the ambiance and they have great margaritas.
This is one of our favorite places to go for a nice dinner
Our server was outstanding! Made great recommendation was attentive knowledgeable and kind.
I would have given 5 stars but the overhead heater didn’t work so it was chilli, we sat outside b/c there was a heater...
please bring back the navajo duck taco!!!! That’s o e of the reasons i recommend this to friends! I’m so sad to learn it’s not available anymore!
Wish there were more options. My husband loves the duck tacos but overall a good experience love the patio
Awesome place for a quality brunch! Bottomless mimosas were great and our server was fantastic. We will be back!
Terrific food, drinks, AND service-what more could one ask for?
Good food as always. Service is also great
The waitress spilled water and one drink on our table which almost landed on my wife and I and she never apologized nor offered anything as a comp to offset what could have been a disaster... very unprofessional and rude!
I felt safe due to all the precautions they have in place for Covid 19.
The food was okay...we ordered the tacos. Hardly any steak in them. The tortilla was very unusual...fluffy and soft, not bad really. The beans were dry on the sides. The guacamole was brown and did not taste very good. The sangria is made with bubbly water and had no fruit (the description stayed it did). It did not taste good.
We had my brothers birthday dinner 8/13. Usually, the food and drinks are fantastic and are worth the drive but it was a little bit of a let down. Sent the first two drinks back that were supposedly “Mexican Mules” but were not drinkable and got swamped with margaritas. The taco plate posted on FB 8/6 had whole beans, green rice, and a chili pepper. My plate, had refried beans (tasted old), red rice, and no chili pepper. The navajo tacos were great with perfectly made bread. My let down is the misleading advertising that was posted a week ago.
Kachina is a favorite and never disappoints. Food and drinks are the best.
Great service! Great food! Great atmosphere! Felt safe there with their social distancing efforts.
Love the food, the service and the ambiance. The patio is a prefect retreat to enjoy a nice dinner with the sunset in the background.
Food isn’t great, go to Hacienda Colorado around the corner, much better tasting food and the drinks are bomb.
Food portions are small, overpriced, and incredibly bland.
This has been our favorite night time day time place to be!! The staff is absolutely amazing from the time we walk in till the moment we walk out!! Couldn't ask for better food...well hoping they bring back the original shrimp tacos, but wonderful all the way around! Thanks for helping this busy couple feel welcome and happy!
I went recently during the pandemic and found that they had cut back the number of items on the menu. That was disappointing. Also the print was impossibly small to read on the paper menu they were handing out.
I had been to the restaurant several times last year and found it nice, so this recent visit was a disappointment.
Service was good and the ambiance is nice.
Lovely time on the patio!
Enjoyed our dinner on patio. Already made another reservation in 7 weeks to return.
I have always enjoyed the food here, and the ambience is always so nice with the doors open. For a hotel restaurant, it is the best.
Bad food no flavor waitress was not good she seemed annoyed
Everything was GREAT! The service was off the chain
Food was bland at best. For a Mexican restaurant in Colorado, there’s way better places to visit.
In these COVID times I felt pretty safe there. The patio was arranged in a distancing way with wait staff in masks & gloves. This hotel has always been impressive to me so good choice for my first dinning in after close down.
Always a good bet for a delicious meal. So glad they are back open with their awesome patio.
The menu is quite limited right now and pretty pricey. A meal with three small scallops was $24. Not a good value. The margaritas were excellent. The tacos were good. Pretty expensive for what we had. The ambiance is nice and our server was excellent. Maybe things will improve after they have been open a bit longer.
Friends in town. We love the coinhouse margarita
Good food, sub par waitress, overpriced for value.
Atmosphere is pleasant but The poor service And overpriced menu overshadowed the nice atmosphere. Katrina seems to have taken up the mindset that if they have less customers they will charge more for less.
Not many options for vegetarian and when they make tacos vegetarian, they are pretty sad. Super expensive for not much value.
great service and happy hour, still rusty getting going again but was excited that the food was stuff fresh and excellent
The patio is open to mitigate the virus. There are hand sanitizer dispensers for everyone and they are doing their best to keep everyone safe.
Kachina is my favorite restaurant to go eat and get happy hour! It is a very different experience with everything going on. I would say that it was a slow start and will only get better from here, the service wasn’t as good as it normally was. They still have the best margaritas ever! I appreciated that they were open and we could support them!
Second time we have gone to Kachina. Have been pleased both times. Good food, good service.
Indian tacos used to be the best in town. They recently changed the menu and with that change, seemingly, the quality has degraded. They no longer offer fried duck confit in a few of the tacos and the amount of filling was literally less than a teaspoon. The shrimp taco was filled nicely but the steak taco hardly had any filling. The house margarita is usually wonderful but this time it tasted of Mezcal vs Resposado. Overall, it was deflating. This used to be one of our favorite places but we will have to rethink future visits. Nearly $70 dinner for two is not a good value when all the food was only fair. It’s certainly not what we’ve experienced in the past.
Great service , great food and one of our fav places to chill with great drinks
First time here food was great! They def weren't shy on their alcohol. Overall great experience!
The server was very nice and attentive. The food was great.
Delicious street tacos, sauces, and guacamole. Lunch prices reasonable, good service, no one rushed us.
