Best meal I have had in a long time! Love that they print a custom menu for you if you let them know it’s your birthday. It was a very special meal!
Great service and food was outstanding!
Went to Jungsik for my birthday and it was a perfect night for us. Being pregnant I have some food restrictions but they were able to accommodated. Very creative and delicious Asian fusion food, perfect service!
This was our second time here. The first time the food had been absolutely amazing. However this time it was lacking. Several dishes lacked seasoning, some others lacked
Grace. One dessert was creamy on top of creamy without much texture in it (although the presentation was stunning). If I only based it on this visit I’d be very surprised this restaurant has two Michelin stars. I hope next time it proves me wrong.
Amazing! Food was incredible, veggie menu was just as amazing!
Phenomenal meal, one of the best I've had in NYC. The flavors were uniformly subtle and delicious with creative and origin combinations. The presentation was also sublime, and the service was great. Only drawback is that this great food comes at an eye popping price, but worth it for a special occasion.
Took my husband there for his birthday. The meal is just amazing and so was the service. The staff was professional and knowledgeable. Would love to go back again! It is more appropriate for a couple or group 4 foodies. Great for times you need to talk...romance or business works for both!
Outstanding service, atmosphere, and food. We got the signature tasting menu and every dish was done masterfully.
The pairing was almost perfect but not completely perfect
Impeccable service and a delicious variety of food. It’s one place I would certainly return to. Even the bar program blew me away. I highly recommend the Old Fashioned from the menu. It was fruity and palatable, and a neat twist. Huong was an incredible server with a great memory and personalized our experience to make it memorable forever.
Had the signature tasting course - three of the courses were great - the others not so memorable. For $800 total for meal and drinks I’d hoped for better tasting food overall. Unlikely to return. On the plus side, the service was exceptional.
We did not receive excellent service. Spilling water while pouring. Clearing dishes while we were chewing our food.
Not once but twice. Ridiculous really.
We chose the signature tasting menu.
Not good enough value wise. $600 is fine when you have an extraordinary meal. Not so, here.
We liked the tuna with truffles, tuna kimbap, black cod and all the desserts.
Glad we came, but won’t be returning.
Exquisite food and service. Very special birthday dinner for my husband.
International cuisine, not Korean
Three years ago the experience was memorable
Top quality Restaurant
Second time and both perfect
The food, service, and ambiance were extraordinary! They truly deserve the 2 Michelin Stars that they have received. The seasonal tasting menu is phenomenal and the dessert is the best part.
They were so lovely and accommodating and food was great !!!!
The seasonal menu was perfect! Food was flavorful and beautifully presented. Dessert was clever and tasty!
Excellent —- wonderful flavors and excellent presentations. Very expensive but worth it
Good for foodies. Great dessert tasting. Will go again to try fine dining. The gentleman who served us was very nice and explained well about all the dishes. Great experience.
Overall the experience in Jungsik was outstanding.
I liked how the restaurant actively engaged with customers like picking up baby bananas though the taste of it was about 8/10.
However, I was expecting Korean cuisines that really offers a traditional taste. It was clear to me that the gourmet foods that I tasted on Saturday night were a bit modified taste that aims non-Korean people.
But, I enjoyed it.
Jungsik is somehow underrated despite having two Michelin stars. Gastronomically ornate food that combines unorthodox flavors can be a disastrous combination in most hands, yet Jungsik handles this combination beautifully and delivers an exceptional meal from start to finish.
One of the best meals I've had this year. Food wise it's comparable with Le Bernardin for the amazing seafood dishes. Service was extraordinary and attentive. Winelist was more than decent though the somm was a bit on the cold side. A must try for any foodie visiting NYC.
It’s a great place to celebrate birthday. Foods are delicious, very comfortable service. Enjoyed a lot.
Very innovative, modernist and very tasty food, great service.
The food was some of the most creative and well prepared that I have ever had. Mini banana dessert was special, looks like a real banana but it’s more a banana cream pie. It was somewhat frustrating that there were few if any choices or options beyond the fixed tasting menu. That said, combination of excellent food, flawless service and very nice ambiance with only moderate noise make this a truly special place to visit. I will be back.
Amazing. Went in for dessert tasting menu. MUST TRY!
We celebrated our Anniversary at Jungsik for the first time, and we had an excellent experience! we loved the signature tasting menu. We've tried several tasting menus from other restaurants, and Jungsik is by far the best - each dish is so delicious! it's all worth it.
Excellent restaurant!!! La nourriture est vraiment très bonne. L’accord mets et vins est parfaits.
Le service est aussi très bons!!!
L’ambiance de la salle est vraiment sympa.
Rien a dire, ils n’ont pas volé leurs 2*!!!
The food and service were excellent, worthy of its Michelin review. I would dare say that the quality of food, while not fully authentic Korean but rather a Korean fusion style cuisine, was exceptional; having tasted both Eleven Madison Park and Jungsik where Eleven Madison Park has been rated as the number one restaurant on the globe in 2017, I would place Jungsik above the former with regard to flavors, execution of the dish, and plating. There is an extreme amount of effort seen in the design of the menu and even greater care the servers place into ensuring I could savor as well as understand the concept of the dish.
Perfection - best meal in my entire life and I’ve eaten at the best restaurants all over the world
Went for our wedding anniversary. Service was great as was the food. I appreciated that the tasting menu was served fairly quickly.
The food: typical French fine-dining tasting menu with ever-so-slight hints of Korean cuisine and very restrained Korean flavors.
Wine: a stuffy, inaccessible list with a French sommelier to match. Disappointing and behind the times.
Interior: refined; the one saving grace for the experience.
Service: humorless and apathetic
Not great value for money, unimpressive dishes. Wine pairing - almost total failure.
Would never recommend this place to friends. Regretted that went there.
Food is amazing. Worth trying.
Incredible. Incredible. Incredible.
For my birthday I chose to go to JUNGSIK. I have eaten there several times before and always loved the food, atmosphere and service. Our party of four had the tasting menu with wine pairings. That was only possible due to the accommodations the chef was happy to perform for my wife who is on a restricted diet. As usual the food was creative, innovative, beautifully plated and fantastic in flavor. The wines were from all over the world and although sometimes unusual (which I love) complemented the food perfectly. Our waiter George was very professional and knowledgeable, and attentive without being overbearing. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the highest, it was a 12! I highly recommend JUNGSIK to those who like creative food in a fine dining environment.
My second time to go to Jungsik!
Best Michelin Ever!
Excellent dinner - from appetizers to desert chocolates - fantastic.
