Top to bottom phenomenal
Amazing tasting menu. Each dish was tasty and artistically presented.
Excellent service. One of the best meals I have had in NYC.
Good service, great food, quality ingredients - decor could use a bit more detail, perhaps art, pricing seems a bit extravagant for everyday diners.
Junsik provides Michelin 2-star level services and atmosphere, but not so much for the food. The food was very oily and we were almost full before the entree. We still finished all courses, but we weren’t amazed by any dish from the seasonal menu, although Gu Joel Pan was very special and tasty.
Great culinary experience
The entire experience was absolutely fantastic! The service was outstanding, and we were happily surprised by the accommodations made for dietary restrictions. Amazing birthday spent here! The food was to die for!!
On way to star number 3
Great Michelin Star restaurant to check out. Service, allergy accommodations, and food were all wonderful. I recommend Oscar as your server. He was THE BEST!
Very decent korean food, nothing bad to be picked from. Food is delicious and suitable for asians.
Great service, beautiful presentation, unique and exceptional food.
That was really nice time to having korean food with my lover.
Jungsik is surely one of the best restaurants in New York. The food is exquisite and delicious. everything is just right. I would rate Jungsik 3-stars if I were a Michelin reviewer. I have eaten in many great restuarants all over the world. Few are better than Jubgsik
Simply incredible. Fantastic staff, amazing food and a great night!
Absolutely fantastic dinner. Jungsik maintains a level of quality that is hard to find even in NYC. Pricey of course but worth it. From the caviar to the fois gras dumplings, to the cod, the wagyu beef, the mini banana dessert.. I mean everything is just perfect, so creative and tasteful that you wish it never ends. Wine list absolutely fantastic, choice of champagne is ridiculous, one of the best in town for sure. Great job.
I always have a good time here. We were celebrating a special occasion and they made it even more special. Thank you, Jung Sik
The signature tasting menu was epic!
The food was amazing. I am still dreaming about the dishes that we had. The octopus was my favorite. All menu items were well thought out and had a good balance of flavors. I loved every bite.
Truly. A 1
Had 5 or 6 dishes from the seasonal tasting menu, several were outstanding, all were excellent. Interesting preparations well executed. The first appetizers were wonderful, and the lamb chop was perhaps the best I've ever eaten. Attentive service, answered all our questions. Really interesting wine pairing, too. Well worth the money
Best meal we have ever had. Creative and beyond delicious.
Foie Gras Mandoo is the best! I love the Galbi, too.
Korean inspired but entirely reinvented. Tabula rasa and reimagined dishes with innovative preparation. Cuisine informed by Korean and French traditions. Incredibly layered and complex. One of all time favorite dining experiences. Incredibly attentive staff, makes you feel completely taken care of. We had the signature menu. Every dish was a tour the force. The staff was extremely helpful at shedding light on details of the preparation- revealing the incredible labor and attention that went into each dish. Flawless. Easily worthy of its 2 stars.
Had wonderful night! Excellent foods and service. Love this place. will remember that night for a long time! Thanks :)
The quality of food, service, ambiance and the attention to detail was outstanding - second to none. The crispy octopus was noteworthy and a must have dish!
love most of the dishes from tasting menu. one of the dish was too salty but the waitress was happy to replace with a new one. Very accommodating as well. pre-fix menu has lamb and we are not a fan of it, willing to sub it with beef w/o any hesitation. Impeccable service from all the staff. Will definitely recommend to friends and families
Great wine list, tasting menus and professional service especially desserts are amazing. One of the best desserts in the town.
We were absolutely blown away by Jungsik! It was such an incredible and unique dining experience. The food and service were absolutely worthy of their 2 Michelin stars, and this is now my all-time favorite splurge spot in NYC! I will absolutely making any excuses possible to go back here whenever I can <3
We came from Houston with high expectation and Jungsik more than delivered! The restaurant made a special effort to make a young man's 14th birthday even more special! The food was exquisite and the staff was attentive and excellent.
The waiter, Oscar, was VERY annoying and ruined the experience for me. He pushed me to have a dessert I told him I didn’t want; was shocked when I said that they were serving the food too quickly and that I needed a longer pause between courses. He made a ridiculous inappropriate comment which I immediately cut off.
The food was superb and other servers and the sommelier , Jackie, were refined and knowledgeable. But Oscar ruined me experience and i wouldn’t go back. For $400 for one person on my birthday, I expected more refined and discreet service.
Amazing service and food. Love the option for two separate tastings, a seasonal option and their "classic staple" option. Gives you another reason to return. Price may be high, but you definitely get what you pay for. Very impressed with Jungsik and eagerly await the opportunity to revisit.
It was our 25th wedding anniversary and everything was amazing!
The food was delicious, service was great!
I went here for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was such an amazing dining experience. Our waiter was professional, without being robot-y. The Resturant even printed special menus that said “Happy Birthday.” The food was excellent! We chose the seasonal menu 5 course meal and the presentation was just as incredible as the food itself. The price was a little high but you get what you pay for. Great resturant for a special occasion, or if you really want to impress someone!
Every dish was surprising and delightful. Every. Single. Dish. I was blown away by the Kimbap?
Outstanding experience, a really good place to have an out of your mind meal!!!!
My friend and I have tried a lot of Michelin restaurants and Jungsik has the best tasting food. I am a foodie but other michelin restaurant food really disappointed me. We tried the 5 course seasonal menu, it sounds like nothing but I wasn't able to finish them all. What a waste of food!
It was my 2nd wedding anniversary. Everything's perfect and it was so awesome.
Great wine pairing and excellent sommelier Super refined food
Duck was maybe not warm enough.
Price quite high by any standard. Service not included. You will easily pay $500 pp without any crazy in your glass...
Jungsik was a fantastic recommendation from a coworker. Definitely be prepared for the prices going in, and be aware that drinks (even water) will add a fair bit more to the eventual bill. The ingredients were fantastic and they were combined in perfect subtle ways. The seasonal menu is not as flamboyant with not as many big name dishes as their classic tasting menu (ie no caviar, less foie gras, no octopus, etc...); regradless, the flavors of all their ingredients get drawn out really well. It's a nice quiet and classy setting, great for either a date or any important conversations or catching up between good friends. I took my younger brother here and certainly have no regrets!
