Best birthday a girl could have! Thank you JUMP for making my landmark birthday memorable and marvellous! Service, food, drinks were amazing!
Excellent place for lunch.
We arrived early before heading to Royal Alexandra Theatre.
Arrive early for quick service before this place fills up!
The service was extremely poor. One example is that we watched our server walk past us, into the side room and get three separate bottles of wine for three different tables before asking us to take our order. When I arrived to meet my friend, our server brought her glass of wine and did not greet me or ask me if I’d like anything to drink. He returned maybe 10 min later to do so. It was a terrible service experience.
Fantastic food and service. They were respectful of our need to get to our event. The staff was prompt an attentive with their service while never seeming rushed. I will always plan to have a meal here whenever I'm in Toronto
Such hospitable service from the moment we arrived to the moment we left! The ravioli were awesome and our server was very friendly. We couldn’t decide between two desserts so we took his recommendation and in the end he brought over both for us at no extra cost just because he wanted me to get to try both! That is the epitome of going above and beyond for your guests!! Great job jump!
Such a lovely evening with excellent service from Jenna and great food with lobster salad and rack of lamb (perfectly cooked). All the staff so personable, efficient and fun. A very well run restaurant.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and we were not rushed. There was no background music but we didn’t mind.
New Year celebration
Price fixe menu. Duck was dry (we didn’t know duck could be dry). Food was marginal. Service was marginal. Wine was good.
Best New Years dinner EVER! Everything’, everything was on point and taken care of. Jump has become our new favourite.
Can’t wait for our next special occasion.
My husband and I went for NYE and had the NYE prix fixe menu. The food was very good and so was the service. This was our 2nd time and will definitely be going back.
NYE dinner was awesome and the price was even more awesome! The food service and ambiance at Jump is always the best! Has only gotten better in over 5 years I’ve been going there.
Highly recommend for business meals too.
We went to Jump for a special dinner on New Years Eve. We chose their fixed price menu and were not disappointed. Even my husband, who hesitated at the price, agreed that it was amazing and worth every penny. The staff was great, very attentive and in a great mood. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
Food was very good as usual. Over the years Jump has become my go to restaurant because of its consistent excellent service and delicious menu.
The dining room was virtually empty, there was zero vibe. Lightly was way more bright than to have been considered “mood lighting”. Serviced was extremely slow to begin - waited over 10mins in a virtually empty dining room to be asked about a drink/water order. Once I told the server we intended to stay for “many drinks” and dinner service improved.
The food was delicious and portions were satisfying. My companions had the Caesar salad to start and I the lobster beet salad. The caesar looked standard but my lobster beet was outstanding. For main I had the pork chop which was great. My companions had the salmon and the steak Oscar which they were both very happy with.
To follow we shared a cheese plate which had a great selection and my friends shared the cheesecake which was said to be the star of the show.
I would like to say that the staff was very accommodating with our needs and service dog, not judgemental at all and unquestioningly provided Bob with a bowl of water.
There was no rush at all on our service or table which we appreciated.
If you want to eat great food served by great staff at a virtually empty restaurant with no vibe, this is the place for you!
Thank you to the serving team (great recommendations and wine knowledge) and specifically the management team for the great service. The food was amazing and very timely managed. Thank you for the great experience.
We’d have dinner at Jump on the Saturday before Christmas every year for at least 15 years. They’re consistently excellent on every level. Hostess Zorcha, wait staff Eamon and Kate are like family to us now and the food is nothing short of exquisite.
Jump feels like an old friend who has aged very well. Food is interesting but not unfamiliar. Feels accessible without being common. Happy to be there for a business or friend lunch.
We had a great meal and the setting was nice but very hard to talk with each other as the restaurant was very busy and loud.
Food was incredible and the server was very sweet and provided good recommendations. My only comment would be that drinks took a bit longer than they should have, but otherwise, a great experience.
Lovely server, fast service delicious food!
The service was horrible--the waiter spilled water on the table while pouring it in my glass and just walked away without apologizing or wiping it up. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and would definitely not dine here again!
Service and food went downhill. Portion of the lobster and shrimp ravioli had like 7 pieces for $29. Also, server had horrible service. Didn’t ask if we wanted 2oz in one of our drinks and found out when the bull came. I wouldn’t go again. Sad because I really like Jump. Oh and website doesn’t have an email to voice my complaint so taking this time to add on Google review. Hope management sees this and I am happy to share when and time i visited.
Nice restaurant, quite noisy. Food and service was great!
Our server was amazing.
Service was great! Attentive, polite and very knowledgeable. I have to say the beef and boar bucatini surpassed my expectations.
Service was excellent. Food was mediocre at best. dessert was dry. Main meal didn't have enough Gnocchi in it. Expected more for a location such as this.
I had a reservation made under my name, but when I showed up the host simply said there is no reservation made under my name and was not engaged in assisting me further. I insisted I had a reservation and while I was looking up my reservation details. The host asked me if it’s under my husband’s name, very impolitely. I was able to confirm the phone number and she turned and asked someone to sit us. While I appreciate the restaurant is super busy, the host is the first contact when a customer walk in. I was totally embarrassed in front of my guest.
I’ve been taking clients to lunch at Jump for years and I’ve always enjoyed it. This time, the food was substandard. The pasta special was glutinous and way too buttery, also lacked flavour. The waiter mixed up our order. I expect better from Jump.
We had a very enjoyable lunch. Everything was great- from when we were greeted upon entering to, our server our food and upon leaving!
Services were good and the camerari was a bit under cook. Nevertheless the food was good and a bit over price needs improvement to maintain the reputation.
Service broke down when they got busy, happens a lot with restaurants, but it is a litmus test of how well a restaurant is managed.
Another great evening at jump. Such a consistently excellent restaurant with top level food, service and martinis !!!!
Great experience - catered to my allergies and was fantastic!!
Great, a little too loud but great food and great service
I work at Shift in Saskatoon and had my staff recommend coming to dine with you guys and I was so happy to have been able to reserve a table at Jump last night. Thank you so much to the staff for making last night one of the best. Next time I’m back in Toronto, I’ll be sure to make Jump my first stop. Thank you again!
It's been a few years since I visited Jump as a I had a few "meh" visits. My friend and I both enjoyed our lunch - the soup of the day, pasta with pesto, and the beet and lobster salad were all very good.
It's still a business lunch spot and somewhat noisy but I was quite happy with the quality of the food on this visit.
