I had the worst experience at Jump.
The food quality was so poor and the service was the worst.
The server was very arrogant and did not follow up on our orders on time.
I would never be visiting there again or recommend Jump to any friend.
I was excited to go. Cool name, good reputation, etc.
Food was awful. I ordered the Buddha bowl. My friend ordered the butter chicken. Textures, salt levels, quantities... all left much to be desired. Neither of us were satisfied. Will not go again unless they start treating food with the respect it deserves (regardless of cost).
Friendly, knowledgeable service. Yummy food and wine.
The appetizers were very nice. The lamb was ok. Service was good. Mushroom soup was 9/10 and highly recommended. The place is quite business oriented setup with patrons in suits and bankers look :))
Unimpressed with mundane menu -was hoping for something more imaginative- but it was lunch
Found the physical environment to be shopworn verging on tacky and dirty - lousy table wedged in by the bar and access to the kitchen- sent order back - food bearly warm and undercooked as per my order
Wouldn’t go back even in a pinch so many other choices in Toronto
Delicious food and service. Loved the photos on the wall and loved it even more when we heard it was done by one of your servers. The pastas and Caesar salad were spot on so was the half bottle of Pinot noir that you had available. Keep up the excellent work.
We had a lovely lunch.....Buddha bowl and ahi tuna. Small portions, dry well done. Extremely fast service....too fast. We had our meals 15min after we arrived!! Great tastes. Obviously a business lunch scene.
Great dinner at Jump. Food was plentiful and very tasty. Rack of lamb excellent. Service perfect and a nice friendly vibe.
The food was not up to the normal high standards
Lovely dinner. Great food, excellent service (Jenna) and such a nice comfortable friendly and classy atmosphere.
Food was good but not great. Portions small, given the price. Service friendly but when we didn’t match their rhythm of quick-ordering-quick-eating we went long stretches without seeing wait staff, even when we wanted something. They did wish us well for our special occasion, which is nice. Would go back for regular dining but probably not for a milestone celebration.
We actually went with our toddler and the staff was super accommodating. The food tasted great as well.
Brilliant time at Jump. We chose all sorts of delicious appetizers including from the bar menu plus a couple of main courses and they did a fantastic job creating small portions on platters for us all to share. Luis looked after us so well as did the rest of the team. We had a blast.
Jump is the place to be for great bourbon selection and delicious cocktails. Paired perfectly with food. We had the scallops and tuna ceviche for apps, and short ribs, lamb special and duck for entrees. Friend who ordered the duck would not stop talking about how amazing it was. Everything was delicious. The service was attentive and not overbearing. Great spot for a weeknight dinner.
Excellent dinner. Rack of lamb special was perfect. Service brilliant despite how busy they were.
The food was very bland. Pork Tenderloin and Salmon were the main dishes, oysters as an app was the best thing we ordered. The service was lackluster as we were never asked if we wanted a drink refill, after ordering wine and a Moscow mule when we first sat down. We were also never offered coffee or tea.
Every year we have a friend visit from England and she always selects Jump as our go-to restaurant. No surprise because this is a consistently excellent, comfortable and friendly environment. Great food and super service. I had the chicken which I rarely order in restaurants and it was outstanding.
What a Party !!! Celebrating a friend's birthday and Jump was the perfect choice. We had a blast. They did a starter seafood tasting platter for each of us and then we had amazing main courses and then a tasting platter of desserts. Such fun service from Jenna and team. The atmosphere is great at Jump. Friendly and fun.
The Cobb salad was the worst I have ever eaten. Lettuce was wilted and the salad was way over priced
Good food with efficient service for lunchtime.
Service was terrible. The server got our order wrong, and when we notified her of her mistake, she gave us attitude. She also charged us extra and I had to ask to revise the bill.
Had a great experience here! From the hostess taking our coats to our friendly server, couldn’t have had a better time (food was also DELICIOUS). Thank you!
It was good - music a bit too loud but all good. Just nothing spectacular .. we eat out a lot
Great meal at Jump/ Food was excellent - avocado and crab, rack of lamb, sticky toffee pudding. Tasty and beautifully cooked. The service was amazing. Everyone works together to give you the best possible experience. We had Leanne (GM), Laine (manager) and Luis (server) looking after us plus server assistants and others. All charming and fun. This service, excellent training and top notch managers is what really sets Jump apart from so many other restaurants.
Loved the ambiance and the style. My meal was great but my wife's risotto was very greasy - too much butter - you could see it pooling at the bottom of the plate.
Excellent restaurant! Attentions particulières aux allergies alimentaires.
Good food, great service. I had the Cobb salad, very fresh. My companion has a burger and was very happy wit it. Cooked right and served hot.
Great restaurant. Love the food. Acoustics are not the best as it was hard to hear the people you are sitting with
We went for an early dinner on a Friday, good energy.
Service was great and food was amazing!
I would only recommend if the person was interested in getting their meal quickly and they didn't care about value. $3 for a glass of flat water is ridiculous especially when you don't tell customers that you are going to charge them for the water.
Pretty unique menu so we ordered a bunch. The bacon wrapped scallops were ok but small and a bit bland. The gnocchi and short rib both had great taste. The sirloin and crab was underwhelming. The steak wasn’t cooked well and crab had little flavor. Dessert was solid.
Food not fresh. A $50 steak came with reheated aspagus and fries. The fish my wife ate was not freah neither. I could not sleep that night after eating the food, it kept a bad taste and could not digest it easily.
Atmosphere/people: sat next to 2 table where people were swearing all the time while talking. The ambiance felt a bit getto.
Overall definitely not a place u want to take your other half to and have a descent dinner. No wonder why 75% of the table were empty in a friday night..
Thank you for making the dining experince a postive one. As always i commend the staff for their professionalism.
Wonderful lunch with an old friend. The food was delicious and we had a lovely quiet spot to chat. Service was great. One of my favourite spots to eat in Toronto.
He menu was outdated and one meal was tasteless (they did take that meal off the bill once we brought it to their attention. It was spring break and the restaurant was not very busy yet we felt rushed by the server - not pampered.
We found the food uneventful and the decor dark and corporate. This use to be one of our favourite spots in the 90s but things have definitely changed and not for the better.
Excellent evening at Jump. Food was ideal with great choices and the service excellent. Only problem was the inconsiderate diner at the next table wearing heavy perfume. Why do people do that at a restaurant. So many people are allergic including myself. The staff were so nice and enabled us to move to a table away from the issue with no fuss. Really appreciated their understanding and style.
Excellent food and service as always. Jump never disappoints.
Wild mushroom soup was very flavourful and very full bodied. My daughter had the scallops which were done to perfection but we’re $26.00 for 2 scallops ( a little pricey for an appetizer in my opinion)
The steak special with ravioli was excellent .... the steak was tender and done to perfection
I will return to Jump, but I am also looking forward to trying Oliver Boncini’s other restaurants
Great setting. Warm and not too loud. Our server was outstanding and the meals were great.
