   Absolutely fantastic! The shrimp and grits were divine. I would go back just to eat that again!

   We had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner. We arrived before the kitchen opened, but we were seated immediately and the bartender took our drink order while we waited. We had our favorite waiter. The fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese were outstanding. Our table had the crab cakes, shrimp and grits, the duck breast, and the pork. They have an unadvertised menu and the chicken nuggets were great. The chocolate torte and bananas foster were an excellent way to end the meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to any foodie looking for a night on the town.

   Food was very good although I feel over priced. Sweet tea should be a staple at any restaurant called "southern cuisine " not sure what it was but tasted like cross between chemicals and mint.

   This is a pretty good but not great restaurant. Parking is a problem. Service could be better. They delayed drinks for our group of 4 to serve a group of 40 first-- inexcusable, particularly since we ordered wine and beer with minimal prep time. Waiters/waitresses also bumped into my arm multiple times without apology and without stopping it. I guess they figured I should move my arm for them. Food was reasonably good but varied among our 4 selections from fair to excellent. In a city with lots of great restaurant choices, I doubt I will go back unless I hear that the owner upgrades.

   We love Juleps. It is one of our favorite Richmond restaurants. We love the creative menu and the shrimp and grits are so so good. The waiter was knowledgeable and helped us to select a wine that we were unfamiliar with. We love to bring our of town guests to Juleps or dine for special occasions. I am ready to go back soon.

   Celebrated a December birthday on a Tuesday night at Julep's. We had been patrons at their prior location; the lighting and noise level was perfect for a relaxed dinner and catching up with family members who had come home for Christmas. Al was our server; he was attentive and his low key, affable style made for an enjoyable dining experience. We enjoyed our entrees which included rock fish, NY strip, duck and scallops. There were both couples and a few larger groups as well as people at the bar which added to the overall experience. I would definitely recommend Julep's to my friends and family.

   A wonderful evening. Lovely dinner, perfectly cooked at all levels. Can't go wrong with the fried green tomatoes and the crab cakes. The best server in town is Al J. Lovely guy and a true professional.

    I've always loved Julep's and was stoked to try out the new location. Unfortunately this visit was a big let down. We waited 50 minutes past our reservation time for a table and the food was only okay. I had hoped that Julep's would still be able to offer up the best food in the city, but I was sadly disappointed. This was likely our last visit.
