Best fried green tomatoes I've ever had. My husband really enjoyed his shrimp and grits appetizer. The bottomless Julep mimosa is a must! We can't wait to go back!

This was my first visit since Julep's opened for brunch. I live in the neighborhood and was super excited to see another opportunity for a good brunch spot. The food was reasonably priced for the quality and portions. There is a make your own Bloody Mary option, which is a great idea, but the drink itself was just okay. Our server was very efficient and effective, but wasn't particularly outgoing; a little stone-faced, which isn't terrible but it was enough for my group of six women notice. Great vibe, really well appointed. I will return because it's SO convenient to my home and the setting is very pleasant, but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to come back. Richmond has too many excellent restaurants for any one place to be just good. I think you have to be very good to great to compete.

We had been to Juleps at this location about a year ago and had been wanting to return. The food was excellent, start to finish, absolutely nothing disappointed and a great deal of it excelled from appetizers through dessert.

It was, however a busy Saturday night, and the service was excellent, but very slow. You could see the servers really trying, but they had a lot to cover. Part of that problem may have had the same source as the high noise level. We had remembered this as a restaurant with great food and a noise level that permitted good conversation. Unfortunately there was a birthday party that got increasingly louder throughout dinner culminating in a few guests shouting obscenities to cap off their evening.

That didn't ruin dinner, but it left us rating Julep's a little lower than we would have otherwise. Go for the wonderful food, and hope that there isn't a birthday party!

This was a truly eye opening dining experience for Richmond dining. Most travels trek to Morton's, Ruths Chris, Tobacco Company, etc. etc. But dear friends, Richmond is more than that. Juleps would be welcomed in most towns including NYC and Chicago. The food was absolutely wonderful and the service impeccable. The drink, beer, and wine list has something for everyone. Definitely worth a side trip down 95 if you're in the vicinity. And if you are worried about gluten, they accommodate, diet restrictions - yes

For my wife:
Black Creek Farm Mix Greens // Chevre (Humbolt Fog?), Freeze dried fennel, etc. etc.

Pan Seared Scallops // Woodson Mill Polenta, Tomato, Oyster Mushrooms, Drawn Paprika Butter, Buttermilk Bleu Cheese

For me:
Hongatonk Raw Oysters // Blood Orange Mignonette, Pickled Manakintowne Radish

Seared Atlantic Rockfish // Charleston Gold Rice, Braised Walnut Winds Farm Collard Greens, Julep’s Duck Bacon, Paprika

Flourless Chocolate Torte (3 different chocolates including a blond) // Coffee Ice Cream

Delicious meal, will be returning.

I was so happy they finally opened for brunch ! I had the country benedict with a lacing of apple butter. Wonder compliment for the salty ham.

Have eaten at Julep's in the past and had a wonderful meal. On this visit all four of us described our meals as average at best. Very disappointed.

Lovely concept restaurant. Friendly staff!! Lousey parking, don't think of finding a space quickly, had to then walk 1+ blocks. Slow service, cold appetizer and bland, not hot soup du jour. Cold cornbread and cold butter.... With the noise level on a Friday evening, it was challenging to have conversation! We would try again, just not to soo .
