Located in Roanoke, a charming, historic rural community in northeast Indiana (15 minutes from Ft. Wayne, 1.5 hours north of Indianapolis and 3 hours east of Chicago), Joseph Decuis is the showcase for local farm raised food, and is a gourmet experience to remember. Our menu features seasonal dishes with ingredients raised on our farm (and other like minded farms), creatively and artfully prepared by our Chefs. The heart of the restaurant is housed in an old bank building (the vaults are now wine cellars) where you’ll feel as though you’ve stepped back in time to a simpler way of life where time around the table meant something. You’ll enjoy a top-quality meal in quiet, comfortable surroundings with outstanding hospitality.

Beautiful restaurant with very good service. We were however disappointed with the Wagyu steaks. We have had Wagyu at other restaurants a number of times and have always loved it. Unfortunately our steaks were unusually tough and did not have much flavor.

Overall I like Joseph Decuis. I feel like the main entree food is over priced. The rest of the meal is not over priced. We had the three different versions of the Wagyu beef tonight and although the menu stated they ranged in price from $75-$95 er were charged $95 for every one. That in my opinion is just wrong. The appetizer and sides were great. The wine was great. Desert also good. So one small discrepancy was the only issue.

The steaks you and your guests ordered were $95 steaks, three three strip loins and one filet. The Tri Tip offered that night was $75.00, however your table did not order that cut. Servers advise of prices of the cuts of steaks when addressing the table on the cuts available. We are glad to hear that you liked the food. Hope to see you again soon!

The atmosphere and service were exceptionally good. The food portions were very small, though. Hard to justify the price, even for wagyu steak, when the portion size is 5 oz. Eddie Merlots has a wagyu ribeye that is a full size ribeye for just a little more

Everything we had was high quality and delicious. The drinks were great. I recommend the pork chop. The beef cheeks had good flavor but could be more melt in your mouth. The servers were all very attentive and friendly.

Parisian Christmas lunch! Best ever French Onion Soup, Wagyu Bourguignon and Choux au Craquelin- no question. Worst ever Ratatouille- not sure what intent there was with barely cooked/slightly warm eggplant, zucchini and tomato thinly sliced with a heavenly tomato sauce and finely grated cheese- that we have ever had. However, the teamwork and friendliness of the staff, impromptu Christmas caroling by a local student choir, and helpfulness of the bartender combines with the 3 amazing other dishes overruled our disappointing Ratatouille.
