A fresh take on American cuisine using the finest ingredients, served in a classy yet casual setting with a family-friendly atmosphere. We prepare delectable seafood, numerous gluten-free options, and natural meats raised without hormones or antibiotics wherever possible.

All reservations will only be held for 15 minutes. Please call if a later arrival is needed and we will tell you our next available reservation.

We are unable to honor more guests than made on the original reservation due to limited seating. Please call the restaurant directly to see if changes to your guest number can be accommodated. We apologize, but guest number increases will not be able to be accommodated upon arrival to the restaurant. We also are not able to honor additional numbers left in the notes.

Carriages cannot be taken into our dining room. We will place them at the host area while you dine.

We had a superb dining experience at Jo’s. Our server, Tracy, was phenomenal and gave us outstanding recommendations. Both the clam chowder and lobster bisque were excellent!

I required some special help as I was there with my elderly dad who is in a wheelchair. The staff was fabulous from the time we arrived outside until we were back in the car going out of their way to provide assistance. My dinner was equally amazing! Would highly recommend Jo's!

After a five day stay in Newport I must say this was our favorite restaurant. My daughter eats gluten free and rarely can she enjoy bread but at Jo’s her allergy was accommodated deliciously. While her burger and my chicken sandwich were good the shrimp bruschetta on gluten free bread was delicious. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was delightful on a rainy Saturday evening. Highly recommend Jo’s especially if you want options for a gluten free meal

This was our first visit to Jo's, and we left feeling very happy that we gave it a try. The staff was welcoming, the service efficient and well paced, the atmosphere very much a bistro, and the food well prepared and presented. We both ordered from the prix-fixe menu, which was a bargain, and were very satisfied with our meals. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Newport.

We had a lovely meal with our two young children. The staff were very welcoming, and provided excellent service. They brought the kids’ food out with our appetizers, and didn’t serve it piping hot, which is always appreciated with small children. The food was very good and the drinks were delicious. 10/10, highly recommend.
