Joe Muer Seafood - Detroit
Moms birthday! Was so lovely
I took my friend from out of town here and he loved it. The service was great and the food was fresh and delicious. I’ll be returning soon!
The food was really good. The ambiance is beautiful. The music was a bit loud from where we were seated but the overall experience was great.
It was my boyfriend and I birthday! Our waiter was amazing and presented us with the most beautiful birthday desserts.
Waiter Adam was great!!
Our server was really nice. He made great recommendations and made our anniversary date extra special. The food was delicious as well and a great value.
Amazing atmosphere. Amazing food. Amazing cocktails. Can’t wait to go back!!
Excellent as usual. Niko did a fantastic job and we enjoy going as often as we can. Thank you very much.
Food was excellent. Waitress Amanda was okay. Not the most personable. Service was just normal. View was awesome. Food not exactly as I remember the original Joe Muers. Big disappointment was they had no perch or cottage cheese.
Our waitress Amanda was fantastic. She went above and beyond to ensure our meal and service was Stellar.
Food was delicious as always.
The food was AMAZING and the space was simply beautiful. It’s been a while since I’ve been back to Detroit and it was so nice to have such a beautiful restaurant situated right on the Detroit River. The views of the river from our table was spectacular! Definitely will be back!
Outstanding food and service
It was wonderful. The prices were reasonable and the food well worth the cost. One of the best birthday dinner celebrations I’ve ever had.
Amazing experience. Food was so delicious, beautiful view.
We were there celebrating our anniversary and they treated us like royalty. Our waiter and the service was excellent. The food was over the top. We had a seat by the window and the view was magnificent. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Service was great. Our waitress was so polite, sweet, and dedicated herself to making sure we were okay and if we needed anything during our meal.
The food was amazing and full of flavor and tasted great.
The food was a little disappointing, and our party of 4 (celebrating a birthday) was seated in the bar area where it was very loud with GM folks who were drinking after getting out of work. Overall the experience was disappointing and I dont think I would go back.
It had been a very long time since my mom had been to Joe Muers (Back when it was on Gratiot!) I took her for her birthday, if you don't mind paying the price then I would say go for it. But it is VERY expensive.
Our dining experience was outstanding! Service was spot on. Food was prepared exactly as ordered. We participated in Autorama and stayed two nights at the Renaissance Center Marriott Hotel, and this dining experience topped our weekend off!
Our server Wayne took very good care of us. We will remember him. The food was outstanding.
Exceeded my expectations by far!!! Wonderful view If the river front and the server Bobby was amazing!!! He was extremely knowledgeable about everything on the menu!!! Definitely going back again!!!
We asked for a seat by the window they put us in the corner. I asked for a particular table unoccupied they said it was reserved. When we finished it was still unoccupied.
Place where I proposed to my wife 15 years ago when it was called Seldom Blues
My wife and I have become regulars at Joe Muer Detroit. There is no place better for fine food and a wonderful ambiance. From Miguel the matradee, Les the piano player to Ashley behind the bar and Bob our regular server there is no better place to be. The seafood is amazing and the drinks are always perfect.
The food was incredible and we really enjoyed the live piano. Our server was knowledgable and overall great. My fiancé said it was the best fish he’d ever had. I also really enjoyed the coconut cake for my birthday.
Wonderful dinner and fantastic service. Could not have been more perfect!
Sashimi=nigiri apparently, but otherwise Joe Muer remains my favorite seafood place in Michigan...and a lot if elsewhere! Get the tomatoes and spinach with the sole. (;
Great Food!!! Branzino out of this world!! Try the Tuna Tartare outstanding!!!
Beautiful table view of the river. Food was awesome and great waitstaff. Great Birthday Celebration
Screaming children at table next door.
By far one of my favorite restaurants to constantly eat at. Amazing service with, amazing food, and of course with a view.
Great meal and great evening with very nice piano player and singer for background music.
We went for anniversary and could not have been more pleased. Service was outstanding and food was delicious.
We also enjoyed the view and entertainment.
Would recommend and will comeback for sure.
BEST SEAFOOD RESTAURANT IN THE MID WEST BY FAR. QUALITY AND SERVICE ARE SECOND TO NONE.
Was very nice place I was just so bummed i ordered the black orchid drink and it didn’t come with the flower like the picture I saw. I was so bummed.
The waiter was new it seemed and too busy as he was rarely available. His trainer came around every so often but it wasn’t enough to keep things smooth. The waiter was nice, but nervous and uneducated about the menu. I ordered a drink, 15 minutes later I’m told they are out of it. I order another drink, to be served near. It came with ice. I asked if he could replace it with a neat drink. He asked his trainer. The trainer came and asked me if I would be ok with the rocks pour. I said no, he said ok and replaced my drink. When the bill came I noticed they charged me $3.50 for rocks...
The sushi was decent. Nothing special. The Alaskan king crab entree had a lot of “gunk” is the best way I could describe it that I had to wipe off of the crab meat. The side dishes were served lukewarm (potatoes and Brussel sprouts). The fruits of the sea was delicious and the lone bright spot to an otherwise awful experience. This was my 2nd time at this establishment, and likely my last.
