Incredible food, backed by excellent service and a view that's hard to beat !!
Waitress was great as was Keith Ferguson, the pianist.
Wayne was our server and he was exceptional with his attention to details and recommendations. We had a beautiful table with view of the Windsor skyline. We mostly had shellfish and the lobster. All was sumptuous. The pianist was a welcome addition and also excellent. Thank you.
Our waiter was great. Chic? I think. Table was great. All and all a good expierence.
I frequent this restaurant often and have always enjoyed this establishment. The service is phenomenal and the food is excellent!!
It was a beautiful way to end the perfect weekend for my and my lady. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. The only issue I had was with the crab cake it had some shells inside other than that great first time experience will definitely be back.
I don’t have anything but rave reviews on my experience there
The service was really good, we were greeted as soon as we walked in for our reservation. The food was really amazing me and my date really enjoyed dinner for her birthday.
They always exceed my expectations. The staff was wonderful and they made sure I had a great Birthday dinner.
My favorite spot to have dinner. The manger Mahmoud (mike) was great !
Food was just ok. Calamari was salty.Salad was drenched in salad dressing and my husband’s salad had a bug (looked like a gnat fly) crawling on his plate. Lobster Bisque soup was underwhelming. I ordered the short ribs. The presentation was great and they were tender but not seasoned well. It was loud in the restaurant. Definitely not a place for a romantic dinner. My husband and I were celebrating our Anniversary and it was not a good experience for us 😔. The best part of the experience was the wine and desserts.
Food and service was top notch! Will definitely be back.
Place never disappoints
Took my husband there for his 35th birthday and it was amazing and the view we had was a bonus.
Waiter brought the wrong drink. Brought it back & returned with the correct drink.
Mashed potatoes were cold, waiter brought fresh hot mashed potatoes upon request. Waiter forgot to bring my salad, brought it after being reminded, after the meal had been served. He removed the salad from the check without being asked.
20% gratuity was added to the check ? I was not aware this was policy.
Wonderful meal in a beautiful restaurant. The only complaint I have is with the “discounted” parking, which turned out not to be discounted at all. I inserted the validated ticket from the restaurant staff into the machine and still had to pay full price.
Great food, service and views!!
This was the best meal we have ever had! It was beyond our expectations. We ordered the house special fish as well as the filet mignon and Alaskan lobster tail. It was filled with flavor! The sushi was also very delicious! Will definitely be coming back.
The filet was so tender, juicy & cooked to perfection! Lobster tail was delicious. Lester on the piano was awesome! Order a lemon drop martini. It’s the best! This has been my favorite restaurant for years.
Food was cold and subpar compared to what we’ve experienced in the past very disappointing
Food was generally inferior and of poor value. Meal started with microscopic oysters. Main and side plates less than exciting. Would not return except for drinks at the bar.
C.J. (our waiter) was excellent..... classy and professional!
First time here and so impressed! Delicious food, beautiful views and the service was to notch!
Amazing service and one of the best restaurants we have ever eaten at!
I understand that you have a dress code, I only wish that you would put the full dress code in the open table reservation email. I came for lunch but wore sandals with my long pants as a gentleman; which I find normally acceptable. I had to leave the restaurant and go find a pair of shoes. Better clarification would have been great, since I made the reservation through open table and never visited your website. Other than the lack of cleared clarification of your dress code on my confirmation email everything else was fabulous.
Service was slow. Waitress had lots of tables to service. Still a beautiful Riverfront view .
Dad’s birthday dinner.
My husband and I had a great time at Joe Muer for our 1year anniversary! Our server was Francine, and she was amazing and very thorough! We were constantly checked on by other staff members and who I believe was the manager. I had to tip her on top of the gratuity! We will definitely be back!
Salmon was exceedingly fishy (tasted like old fish). Had to ask multiple times for refills on water and glasses of wine. No refills on coffee, apparently. Busser insisted dishes we were still eating off of be removed. Gratuity for lousy service was included in the check. Atmosphere was pretentious, not authentically sophisticated.
Red Lobster would have been better.
POOR food quality .
Clam chowder looked like it came from the bottom of the pot .
Lobster bisque had tiny pieces of lobster.
Food sat under the lights and was dried out.
Lobster corn dogs - even a dog wouldn’t eat them .
Sent food back -
Entrees were frozen and reheated
No decent cook would send food out like that.
I must say the shrimp and oysters were good.
This place is OUTDATED -OVERPRICED.
TOURIST TRAP - DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE.
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE !!!!
Waitress super inattentive. Had our food cleared out by the bus boys about 30 minutes before she came back and checked on us. Also very rude- made lots of comments like “why’s the tablecloth folded like this, did you make a mess?” and asking if we were eating each other’s food. Food was pretty good overall but service really made it a bad experience. Will not be returning for a while.
Need to keep website updated
Apparently they don’t serve sushi on Sunday & Monday
Allowed a customer in dressed inappropriately
Pants we’re hanging n falling down
We had a wonderful experience. I will be going back in the future. Threat yourself it's worth it.
Always quality and we always look forward to our meals any time we are in Detroit
Excellent seafood and very attentive service. We had a great view of the river. I highly recommend the swordfish, it was a unique offering for the preparation and one I won’t soon forget.
Great food and courteous, friendly service plus lively views of the river/Canada. We couldn't have asked for a better night!
We ordered the Lobster Corn Dogs and the Crab Balls for an appetizer they were very good. I would recommend you to order them.
