Jessica's continues to be the best dining experience in Middlebury.
We love Jessica’s. By far the best meal anywhere near Middlebury.

We love to eat at Jessica's knowing that we will spend a lot, but it will be worth it.
Very good meal with attentive service. Will go back.
A delicious dinner in a wonderful setting. I can’t wait to dine at Jessica’s again!
Wonderful dining experience! We would recommend to anyone staying in Middlebury Vermont.
Excellent meal as usual. This is our go-to restaurant in Middlebury.
My boyfriend and I spent the night at the Swift House inn for a little staycation and we booked dinner at Jessica’s the same night. The food was delicious and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely come back!
Great food and great service! I would definitely recommend going here for your next date with your significant other!
It was not our first time at Jessica's and it will not be our last!!!!!!
We dined at Jessica's for Thanksgiving and it was the BEST traditional thanksgiving dinner we ever had We decided to try again for Valentine's day. EXCELLENT!! The atmosphere was quiet and pleasant with the wood fireplaces burning. The food was top notch and the service was wonderful. We will certainly return for dinner and not wait for a 'special' occasion.
Our first time here. The restaurant was charming, the ambience of the decor with the warm fire was just the right touch and our server (I believe her name was Jodie) was appropriately attentive and so pleasant. David helped us to pick out an appropriate bottle of wine. I typically like Italian Reds, but wanted to Explore the Riojas. I was able to find a delightful bottle that was pleasant to the palate and at a reasonable cost for such a fine tasting wine. The room wasn’t too noisy, the food and homemade lemon tart for dessert were delicious!! Definitely a place we look forward to going back to!
Our dining experience was excellent. We enjoyed chatting with David and his extensive knowledge of wine. It was a very memorable experience.
Spectacular evening at Jessica’s! Cozy atmosphere with a fireplace and an even warmer and friendly staff. Really incredible dining experience with our sommelier David and waitress Jodi. The scallops and the short rib special were fabulous, the sticky toffee pudding itself was worth the drive from Burlington. We will definitely be coming back!
David was phenomenal with the wine recommendation!! Beet salad, Brussels salad, amazing!! The food was delicious and service was awesomely timed! We loved it!
Delicious food and wine. David the sommelier is terrific and has great recommendations for wine pairing for your entree. We go there regularly and just love the experience.
Great wine pairings with the entree' selections! So nice to have the expertise of a sommelier available!
Went for breakfast!! Very good! Pancakes so good!! Everyone very nice!!
A wonderful evening, as expected. An excellent meal with attentive service from Jodi.

What a wonderful night out. Everything was so great. Can't wait to go back and enjoy another night out.
Jessica's at Swift House is an excellent venue for dinner. The kitchen is excellent, the service is great and the wine steward is very knowledgeable. Sitting in the library with a fire blazing is an ideal setting for dinner anyway or for special occasions.
I live locally- first time there.... Can't wait to go back!
Hoping new owners will advertise to the locals more, I feel like a lot of folks who live in town need to know more about how great it is!
Have been going to Jessica’s for roughly six years now and the service, ambience and politeness has been nothing but top shelf.
Excellent food served in an historic setting by caring talented staff.
Even during a global pandemic, Jessica's restaurant pulls off an amazing experience. The staff is wonderful and goes above and beyond to ensure the safety and comfort of their guests. Do not hesitate to make a reservation!
Enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving meal...everything was delicious: salad, turkey, stuffing, green beans, mashed potatoes, gravy, pumpkin pie....yummmmm!
Quaint and historical restaurant with AMAZING food!
This brunch was a gift of my 2 adult children and husband for my 7birthday 70th birthday so it was an especially lovely time in the beautiful dining room. And I was gifted a box of Lake Champlain Chocolates!
Very good but not a lot of food.
Everything and everyone was very pleasant. Great for special occasions.
Fabulous restaurant with great food (pate, beet salad, scallops and steak) and great cocktails (gin-ger gimlet) and wonderful, extensive and well-priced wine list. The service was exceptional and I appreciate the fact that Jessica's takes COVID very seriously and has numerous precautions in place. I can't wait to return during my next visit to Midd. This will be a regular stop for us when visiting our son at Middlebury College.
Service was excellent, food was very good. Wine steward was very personable.
The food and presentation were rather ordinary. Hope you’ll be able to spiff it up in the coming months.
Very welcoming host and excellent food and Service as well.
Super good meal, great staff & service...its our go to place!
Perfect for an anniversary dinner. We had a lovely meal.
Food and service were amazing. Had a great time
Ambiance, food and service were all wonderful. Rack of lamb was cooked to perfection and was tender as could be. Others in my party had an excellent pasta dish with delicious and abundant shrimp, and the scallops which also got rave reviews. The lemon tart and flourless chocolate cake finished off a perfect meal.
We had a delicious dinner in Jessica's/The Swift House's very comfortably elegant Vermont setting. We all loved the crab cakes and tomato bisque, and our dinners (Ribeye Steak, pasta, Shepherd's Pie) were delicious although the plates could've benefitted from a few more veggies on the side. Dessert and lattes were indulgent. Service is awesome and welcoming, and the fact that there's a friendly sommelier, David, on hand always inspires me to drink more wine, and even learn a little about it.
The Rib Eye steak was too thin...and most of the pieces were tough to cut through...disappointed!
