Jeffrey Adams on Fourth
The food was good and the service was good.
We just moved to town and were so impressed with the food, atmosphere and exceptional service. Our server, Ashley was terrific and was very knowledgeable about the menu and wines. Since we live right across the street, we will be back often!
I like how they can customize your order. I have a severe mushroom allergy and the kitchen made sure there was no cross con
The incredibly friendly server was perfect! The food was absolutely outstanding! Great wine selection as well!
Great view, food and excellent service
Great experience overall!
Would recommend for a group wanting to drink and have fun, but not for a quite dinner.
The food was really good and the service was excellent!
Went for the Big Eat night. It was busy and I was excited for my meal. Had a reservation which was good cause they were busy.. Only waited about 15 min for the table. Had the Big Eat special and it was excellent. I was thoroughly impressed. I had a nice glass of wine which happened to be half off cause it was a Tuesday..... Bonus!! I even sprung for dessert which was yum. Only complaint was the table we waited for was in a very awkward place at the end of a row of booths, just in front of the bathrooms and the end of the bar. Not a good place to enjoy a meal. Luckily the food was so good that the table placement was just a minor annoyance. Will definitely return...... and ask for a different table 😉
Great Steaks and service!!!! Make reservations if you want to assure you have a seat!
Excellent food & service as usual.
Our go to place after the Symphony !
Nice atmosphere and good variety menu.
Went for a Sunday lunch, before seeing a concert right across the street at The Stevens Center. Perfect location to eat. The food was great. I had a burger with delicious toppings and pasta salad, both very good. And Sunday mimosas...winner. Looking forward to going back for a dinner. Staff was very nice and personable.
I really enjoyed the 4 ounce filet mignon, just the right size and cooked the way I liked it. Very convenient location to the Stevens Center.
I ordered the Land and Sea. The tenderloin was not tender and not well cooked. The lobster tasted fishy and had a weird texture, unlike fresh-cooked lobster. The sea scallops were excellent. One out of three...not a win.
Our steaks were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Our sever was very friendly and personable. The atmosphere and ambience was very clean and relaxing. We look forward to going back.
It is always a treat to visit Jeffrey Adams on Fourth. The service is great, and there is a good variety of food and wine at various price levels, but it would be a nice addition if they offered specials on some nights to vary the meal choices.
Our server had long hair that was not pulled back. She did not listen to anything one of our guests said. The food came out and one hamburger was way overdone. My wrap had a long hair in it. When our server came back after I sent the wrap back to the kitchen her hair was pulled back. This was not a good experience for my birthday lunch!
Portion sizes were not the same on NYE they were much smaller than normal
Food and service were amazing. My wife and I dined there for our 42nd anniversary and it made it a memorable occasion. Thank you JA.
Great experience but our table was a bit isolated and near the rest rooms
My wife and I had dinner here for an early Anniversary celebration. Our server, Kay, was very attentive and gave great explanations and suggestions. The wood-fire grilled filet mignonette was superb in every way. All in all, a very pleasant evening!
Front desk staff rude and inattentive. We were seated right at front door and we were very cold our entire dinner. Dinner got cold before we could eat it. Disappointed overall.
Dinner at Jeffrey Adams is part of a birthday/holiday tradition my family does every year. We always look forward to it. This year, it was wonderful to see the restaurant so busy. However, the busyness made us feel like we were in the way rather than appreciated guests. There were two hostesses at the door when we arrived--both were busy, but no one acknowledged us with even a smile for several minutes. We waited a few minutes past our reservation to be seated. I ordered the fried goat cheese salad, which arrived without the goat cheese. The two other people with me said that their meals were okay--not the quality they have been in past years. The holiday decorations looked great, the bar staff was excellent, and our server did quickly remedy my salad. Overall, though, we felt mostly like a table to be turned over.
great food but got home and had a text we did not show for our reservation. If the girls at front desk would pay attention because I had to tell them twice my name and time and poor service before this time
Ordered a pork chop which came out very over done but they quickly fix the problem, Which I appreciated and they did a good job at that. Service is average to above average, they would be wise to bring some professionals educate the waiters and waitresses.
Visiting Winston-Salem from Charlotte.
Lunch before a ballet
Great food and service!
The food here is really good! Anyone can find something to eat and it all tastes great. My only complaint: beer. How many IPAs does a restaurant need? And Budweiser or Stellla shouldn’t be the only Pilsner option. There are great local pilsners to offer.
Food was a little pricey but I would say worth the money. Very good wait staff. The upstairs is very good atmosphere looking out over the street. Very quiet.
Great food. Great atmosphere. Great service. Will be back for sure.
Our server was friendly and quick. We thoroughly enjoyed our girls night out.
Really enjoy this restaurant. Food, service, ambience and price are always great. Last night Brandon was another very nice server. I has the 8oz filet and it was prepared perfectly. Brussels sprouts were very tasty. Wife enjoyed the land and sea. Always enjoy eating here when in Winston Salem. Right downtown near convention center.
3rd time we've eaten there...This time with friends...Party of 4. We were seated quickly upon arrival (reservation worked) at a nice window seat on the upper level. Food was very good!
We dined on the street level. Fantastic meal and service. Good wine list, too. Will definitely return the next time we visit Winston-Salem.
We've been visiting our daughter at UNC School of the Arts for four years now, and figured it was time we tried Jeffrey Adams on Fourth. And we were glad we did. We had an early reservation because we had a 7:30 curtain time for a show on the campus, and the service was fast and attentive. The waitress recommended a terrific bottle of wine (Ruta 22 Malbec from Argentia, only $30!), and we had a wonderful Ahi Tuna appetizer. The soup of the day was a tasty crab bisque, and then we all had steaks--four oz. filets for my wife and daughter, and I had the 12 oz. NY Strip. All delicious, all with different toppers. For dessert, the Chocolate Creme Brulee was really terrific, and the Millionaire's Coffee was a nice way to end the meal. The portions were just right, and the only tiny quibble was that I'd ordered a Woodford Double Oak bourbon on the rocks (which was excellent) and was shocked to see that it was a $20 drink when the bill came. But, what are you gonna do except pay it? I'd absolutely eat there again.
Men's restroom was in terrible condition! But that is the only negative I have for our dining experience. The food was really good -- Gordon Ramsey would not call this chef a donkey (lol!!)
It was really good !
Very nice atmosphere and great food. The strawberry sangria was delicious! Will definitely go back soon.
