It opened its doors in 2008 on Newport Beach and is conveniently close to the Crystal Cove Shopping Center. This restaurant offers guests an upscale dining experience with such entrees as the Maine lobster enchilada topped with Monterey jack cheese and grilled chicken breasts braised in chipotle sauce. Always a nice place to go. Maybe getting a little too "hip" for me....but that's not a knock. Highly recommended for an elevated Mexican dining experience.

Usually have a great experience except this time. Serves spilled ice water on me and my purse. She then recommended apps and brought out the wrong order. Also strange bc she said if you order a drink not on menu you can’t return it. Very different experience than my normal. I’ll be back today for a dinner meeting, hopefully not seated at her section.

Javier’s is a must! The beautiful atmosphere and view of the ocean is the start to an incredible meal. The food is too good! We started with a guacamole appetizer. 4 of the 6 of us ordered the Seafood enchiladas. They are so fresh and yummy. The rice is good, but the beans melt in your mouth! For desert we shared two chocolate ganache cakes with vanilla ice cream! Wow! Talk about melt in your mouth! The service is top notch! Bathrooms were very clean too.

Good food, fresh and tasty. Service was little rude, restaurant was closing soon and looks like guys were tired and wasn’t paying attention to our table. One the best Mexican food in the area but service is worse than at pizzeria. Wouldn’t recommend to you if that’s your birthday or party. Wouldn’t recommend on busy days. Lunch time on a regular week day should be probably good.
