Artistically designed with unique sculptures, Javier's Crystal Cove provides guests with ocean views in a cozy, contemporary atmosphere to enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine. It opened its doors in 2008 on Newport Beach and is conveniently close to the Crystal Cove Shopping Center. This restaurant offers guests an upscale dining experience with such entrees as the Maine lobster enchilada topped with Monterey jack cheese and grilled chicken breasts braised in chipotle sauce. Javier's Crystal Cove serves a variety of fresh seafood dishes, appetizers and delicious desserts. It has a full bar that features numerous tequilas, cocktails, beers and wine. Javier's Crystal Cove also offers outdoor dining. It accepts reservations over the phone and online.

Good food, fresh and tasty. Service was little rude, restaurant was closing soon and looks like guys were tired and wasn’t paying attention to our table. One the best Mexican food in the area but service is worse than at pizzeria. Wouldn’t recommend to you if that’s your birthday or party. Wouldn’t recommend on busy days. Lunch time on a regular week day should be probably good.

Always an exceptional dining experience. Only negative is the parking availability for valet and self park. But this is a SoCal issue, and does not reflect on the restaurant rating. Menu, staff, service, beverages are all of highest service and hospitality level.

We had a reservation for a party of 3 on Father’s Day, and everything from start to finish was seamless. The host team was organized and friendly, and we were seated right on time. The service was attentive without being rushed, and everyone in our party really enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and overall experience. Javier’s at Crystal Cove delivered a great evening, and we’ll definitely be back!

The wait for our food was 45 minutes after ordering, the server never came to tell us anything or even ask how long our food was going to be or apologize for the delay. The two tables of 5 and 4 beside us came after us and got their food first and also left before we did. We didnt get our food till we asked the manager. The tried to make it up by bringing ice cream to my sister that just graduated college earlier in the day. Food quality wasnt great. I will hand it to them the amount of chips and salsa brough by the bus boys at least kept our mouth busy.
