I've been coming all locations for 10+ years and have always had great experiences. The food ambiance and food are always great but since the remodel at the Crystal Cover location the service has gone downhill and FAST. The waiter was rude, unprofessional and even argued with me over the order. This is also not the first time l've had a poor experience with this gentleman in particular. Appetizers came out AFTER the food. At that point not only did they not even fit on the table, but we didn't even want them but were forced to keep them (this was the argument I stated above). Throughout the meal we saw our waiter 2 times at most. At the end of the meal we we sat at the table for roughly 20-30 minutes with no sign of our waiter. The table was still full of plates and we even began stacking them up but nobody would come grab them. After 30ish minutes I had to get up and go find someone so that I could pay the bill just to get out of there. When spending close to $1,000 on a dinner I expected a lot more, especially due to the fact that they've always set a high bar but was extremely disappointed.

love the new redone Javiers the only thing I would want to see is if EVERY table has a view of the ocean. Love the area near the large bar with open air. Dont like the back of the house near entrance as much. Love Javiers

My only complaint is that we were seated in a corner with no view of the ocean, which was a little disappointing considering how stunning the setting is. When you’re dining at a place known for its location, the view really adds to the experience.

I come to Javier's at least once a year during a conference in Laguna. This has been a tradition for over 10 years. I typically take a larger group of 6+ people and I have yet to have anyone not be blown away by the food and experience.
