Jason's Restaurant is the perfect place to have a casual lunch or dinner with upscale service and impressive cuisine. Our menu has dishes everyone can savor from our fresh and light Hawaiian Poke to our delicious grilled Blackened Rib Eye Steak. Our full bar serves up signature drinks and fine wine to enjoy in our dining room or out on the patio. Our banquet room also offers a great space for small intimate parties and large events.

As always love Jason's, but this time even though we had an early reservation and it was
quiet for the first 45 minutes, it became extremely noisy and hard to hold a conversation at
our table. Business is good and I am happy to see it, but would like some kind of noise
reducer-----Our servers were attentive and not obtrusive, willing to make substitutions. The bus boy was a little eager to take plates before all at the table had finished. Food selection was excellent. Really like the lobster bisque soup. thank you.

Jason's is always wonderful. On this occasion, we encountered an argumentative waiter, however, everything else was great. We keep coming back to Jason's because it's one of the best restaurants in Marin.

Consistently delicious food. Never had a piece of over cooked or under cooked fish and the pastas and salads are spot on. Jason is really a wonderful chef. Very friendly polite staff are there for your every wish. I love this place!

Our waiter was not friendly, a bit rude to us and didn’t engage whatsoever. We also had mentioned that we didn’t like a soup (only eaten a bit) and he didn’t have the courtesy to remove from bill. Overall , the food was good but service last night was awful.

Good portions and delicious food. We had the lamb, fettucini, and cajun tuna and everyone was pleased. The mashed potatoes are plentiful and tasty.

Waiter brought wrong dish, and correct dish came shortly after and we were comp'd a cocktail.

Service is spot on, water glasses always full and pleasant staff.

Celebrated a Birthday Dinner with 8 people, had a delicious meal and great service. Jason the Owner came out and greeted our table and made sure everything was up to his and our picky standards. Finished the evening at the bar and equally had the same great experience. Definitely will be back!

A friend had recommended Jason’s to us and we finally went last Saturday night for a date night dinner. We were quickly seated and our server came quickly and brought water and bread and took our beverage order. Our drinks came quickly. I asked about the miso marinated Chilean sea bass and our server said if I ordered it I would continue coming back. I started with the hamachi shooters and both were EXCELLENT. The miso marinated sea bass was as good if not better than miso yaki butterfish served in Hawaii. My wife ordered the Gorgonzola and pear salad and a delicious pizza.
We shared the chocolate sundae for dessert and we left very full and very satisfied

We had heard that this place was very good, and my husband had been here several years before, so we took our family out to celebrate two birthdays. We did not have any wine. We had three appetizers: the shots, the poke, and seared scallops. The shots and scallops were very good. I have had better poke. I thought the scallops appetizer was very skimpy. At $15 per appetizer, I did not feel good about our selections. Entrees were just okay. My mother-in-law was disappointed in the lamb. My burger was not very well seasoned. Two of our younger children had chicken strips, which were way over-salted/seasoned. The wait staff was attentive, but our server lacked personality - this can go either way for some groups. Our group likes to joke around, so we noticed the lack of humor/sense of fun. We all had desserts - no complaints there. Overall, we probably would not return. There are too many other options in Marin.

My husband had the nightly special of pasta with fresh crab, and it was so heavily garlicked that he was unable to eat it, and changed plates with our daughter who said the same, but ate it.
My crab cakes were just OK. Crab Louie was fine. Kitchen was nice and split our salad for us, which we appreciated.
The waiters are pretty charmless, and don't add anything to the pleasure of an evening out. They have not been trained to leave finished dishes until everyone at the table has finished which should be a must for this level of restaurant.
Not encouraged to go back again.

Good food and value with convenient access to the freeway and plenty of parking.
I would recommend the Tiger Prawns and Chilean sea bass. The owner (Jason) is friendly and welcoming.
The food won't open any culinary vistas, but is tasty and some things are quite creative.

Highly recommend the scampi and the Brandy chicken. Quite pleasant sitting outside. Very quiet and relaxing. No rushing to get us out.

Food was excellent and service was extraordinary. Our waiter noticed that we were all wearing black . He replaced the 3 white napkins with 3 black ones so we wouldn't get lint on our clothing. His care, attentiveness and delightful personality added to the lovely evening.

The place has a fun upbeat atmosphere, it was Happy Hour, so good values were at hand. However, ordered the rib-eye. What I got was something of a variation of a rib eye. Soon as I put the big knife to it an felt resistance I knew something was amiss. I should have stopped there but I went on hoping it would get better. Had a few descent bites but overall a very chewy
experiment. Did not send back, should have.
The menu even named the farm so had high expectations. Maybe that was the problem.
Waiter said they were not a " steak house ." Oops .
The ladies had salmon and loved it.
