Jaleo - The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

We had the tasting menu and found it was nothing like the Spanish food we have had in our travels through Spain. This was a major disappointment as we were really looking forward to it. Plus it cost $100 a head for food.
My husband and I are big fans of Jose Andres, so we had to try Jaleo. The tapas are tasty! They yummy, great, delicious choices. The staff is very friendly and the ambiance is good for date night. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
We selected eat like a spaniard from the lunch menu, three choices total for $25/person. This menu allows you to taste a variety of tapas.
The food was tasty specially the gambas and the salmon. Did not care for the tomato soup. The salad of apples and fennel was very refreshing
Sangria with the red wine was ok, too much mint for my taste.
My server could have been more efficient, I had to remind him of my drink order
Overall it was a very good experience which I look forward to repeat.
The wait staff here is always amazing. The food is the best tapas in Vegas. I've tried several of them and none of them compare. The cocktail pour isn't generous for the price but that's what you get on the strip!
Awesome food here! Love the small plates to share, we loved everything! We loved that the food came out at different times instead of all at the same time. Our server was kind of grumpy and not too attentive either.
We enjoyed our dinner at Jaleo. The service was outstanding. The place is very cool. We enjoyed the food. It is similar to what you might enjoy in Spain but definitely a little different. We enjoyed the bread with tomato a lot. The jamon platter was excellent and the manchego was good as well. We thought the patatas bravas were good, but different than Spain. My wife wanted them to be crispier -- I thought they were good. Neither of us thought they were as good as what we'd had previously in Barcelona. We also thought the gambas were good but def different than what you will get in Spain. We enjoyed the Pan y Chocolate for desert. It was very tasty. My wife said that coffee was "meh", which was really the only downside to the meal. Not terribly expensive either....
Amazing. Best meal we've ever had.
Food was outstanding. Wait staff was attentive without being intrusive. Waiter gave excellent suggestions.
Fantastic food, as usual. Service wasn’t quite up to my expectations, but the food was excellent.
Delicious food! Noisy place
The chicken with garlic is amazing. It’s a little pricey but well worthy.
The tasting menu was very interesting and good. The dishes didn't blow my mind, but I liked the variety they offered.
Small plates, tapas are a great way to sample lots of different flavors.
Went there during my recent visit to Vegas. The gin and tonic is to die for. Food was delicious and the wait staff was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. You cant go wrong here
After a small issue with gift cards we purchased through the Think Group, the manager and GM sorted the issue and made it more than right. Food was great, service was great, and I’ll definitely come back.
Outstanding! This Jose Andres restaurant does not disappoint. There are so many choices but the waitstaff is there to help and guide you to the choices right for you. Loved the gin and tonic cocktail. Great food and great service.
We come to Vegas every year for CES show, Jaleo restaurant is alway our first stop and alway happy with the foodo
I had high hopes for this place based on my love of Spanish food and reviews I had read. I was VERY disappointed. Food sounded amazing on the menu and I have a pretty developed palate, but in truth it the food was bland or mispaired with items in the vaious dishes. The paella was the worst I have ever had. It was basically Uncle Ben's flavored rice with four shrimp on top. However, the gazpacho was some of the best I have had. Still a small bowl of $12 dollar cold soup doesn't make up for the rest of the $200 meal. Noise level was off the charts and couldn't even talk with the people at our table. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.
Pretty pricey for the small portions but hard to argue with the quality. That lamb rack is next level stuff. I really enjoyed our time there. Super nice waitress and manager.
Some selections were better than others but none were outstanding like the service. Mixologist was spot on. A couple of the best cocktails I’ve had in a while. We had fun.
The food quality, service, attentiveness, and accessibility were just right. The Jaleo at the Las Vegas Cosmopolitan was a great all around experience. The food portions were plentiful and delicious.
We went to dinner on Wednesday January 2nd. We looked at the reviews and honestly I can’t agree more the food was fantastic. The wait staff was very attentive but not overbearing. The tapas were all delicious with special attention to the potatoe salad with tuna. We had the traditional paella with rabbit the rice was perfect. The sangria was not overly sweet which we prefer. It’s our new go to Spanish restaurant we are already figuring out our next meal. Thanks to the whole staff for a great meal.
The food was amazing. We did the tasting menu which was so creative and delicious. I only wish the restaurant had a 4th wall and wasn't totally open, which detracts from the ambiance and makes it smell strongly of cigarette smoke
Just amazing all the staff fantastic
We come here Year on Year, and with exception to the staff not allowing us to book in for NYE this year, we have always had New Year’s Eve dinner there as well.
My wife is gluten and soy intolerant, and staff were very attentive to her needs at all times.
Great place! We will be back again soon!
Great food, great service, friendly staff. Definitely a bit on the pricey side, but it’s Vegas, so splurge a bit, its all good food!
We are just not into Spanish food but since it was New Year’s Eve... we decided to book a more elegant eatery. The presentations are more appealing than the actually taste of the food. If you are really a Spanish food lover then definitely the place for you.
Dinner was fabulous food was outstanding staff was great!
Fabulous food and service. One star removed only because the food service was a little rushed. We had the tasting menu with wine pairing - every single item was delicious but it is a lot of food and to really savour both good and wine you shouldn’t feel rushed. Granted it was New Year’s Eve but the place wasn’t full so there was no reason to hurry. That said- I would certainly return but would take care to ask them not to rush
This was a last minute reservation and everything about it was amazing- we wanted to lick the plates it was so good
Good food and experience. Noise level is a little loud, but good people watching with the restaurants lobby in background. Tapas came at a good pace and were good. Vegas prices.
There were 7 of us so we got to try and share an abundance of delicious tapas. We had our knowledgeable waiter select for us which for us was the smart way to go to get to sample delicious plates we may not have gravitated to.
Great restaurant with nice ambience and delicious food
Pre new years eve
Deliciosa la paella, el queso manchego y el jamón de bellota Fermin.
I’m from San Diego but I lived in Spain for 20 years, between Madrid and Valencia. Last month we went to Bazaar Meat at SLS in Las Vegas and on Saturday Dec 29th I went to celebrate my Fiancé’s birthday at Jaleo at The Cosmopolitan also in alas Vegas. All the food that we hade tasted authentic Spanish, I even personally congratulated the Chef. Everything was delicious and I already recommended to all my friends and family.
I’m the biggest fan of Chef Jose Andrés. I even volunteered at Tijuana, México with his Foundation World Kitchen to feed the Central American migrants.
It was an awesome experience!
After living in Spain for 10 years + I can say the food was excellent but the staf were terrible
Food was nice and service was good. Overall a pleasant experience.
Fantastic meal. Service was great even though our server was a trainee.
The imported bread is unbelievable and the “secreto” pork cut was delicious.
Wine recommendation was affordable and tasty.
In the crazy world of overpriced Vegas restaurants. This was a breath of fresh air.
