We’ve been coming to Jak’s for 15 years, and we always order the NY strip steaks. This time the steaks were terrible. Thin, a lot of gristle and certainly not worth close to $60 each. When we complained we were credited only $9 for our dessert.

Amazing restaurant that has had the same feel for many years. Favorite spot to go when I’m back in town. Great food, service, and atmosphere.

Food is not as good, seems like there’s a new chef and new owner in town. Too bad, because Jak’s was single handedly the best steak house in the greater Seattle area. Still better value than chains like Daniel’s but the change is disappointing.

We always enjoy Jak’s. Everything about this place is great. We have never had any issues with food or service. One of our favorite places in the area. Definitely the best steakhouse in the area, high quality, professional preparation by excellent chef. We will keep going back.

I love Jak’s! The hostess was very dismissive and rude. I understand tables run behind but with our reservation she said we would just need to wait another 30. The waitress came by our table once and we had to waive her down to order additional items. Felt very rushed out. The table next to us was sitting and waiting to be assisted and finally had to go back to the hostess stand for a server.

There are locations in the Restaurant that are noisy, but there are other locations that aren’t as loud. We wear hearing aids and it worked for us!

There were 3 menu items not available along with no bread service. Additionally, the recipe (batter) on the onion rings changed. The new version does not pair well with Bernaisse sauce. Very disappointed.
