Jake’s Del Mar was our choice to take our out-of-town guests to dine. Their fish dish with Seabass did not disappoint, and we also enjoyed the filet. Best salad was the greens, strawberries, and walnut, with cranberry vinaigrette. Calamari was delicious as usual! Good specialty drinks and excellent wine list. Great ambience with ocean side views in your curved booth table complete the experience. Highly recommend!!

We celebrated two birthdays, and although there were many other tables doing the same, our waiter and staff really made us feel special. Outstanding experience we will be back soon.

Service was fine but food was bland. We order the some calamari as our appetizer and salmon for our main course. Cooked and presented well but very bland and little to no seasoning

Great location, a local favorite. Unfortunately, we were seated in what seemed to be the “kid” section. Not ideal. Food was good, but overly spicy. I had the Ahi and my husband had the special, a rib eye. Both were very spicy.
