Tom was our waiter and we had an amazing experience. Best filet I’ve had in the past 2 yrs
Our waiter was well versed, made the food choices sound absolutely amazing, and everything was amazing.
Everything from food to service was exceptional at Jackson’s! We will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone wanting a nice dinner out.
I expected a good caliber of steak and was disappointed.
Pros: quick service. Filets cooked to perfection (minus salt and pepper). Oysters were fabulous. Crab cake was legit stacked full of crab. Filler tasted a bit like Stove Top but that could be the sage… bread and butter (free) was hot and tasty!!!!
Cons: lack of salt and pepper on every dish. Crab avocado was bland. Crab beignets were covered with so much spicy Mayo that you counts the taste the crab beignet beneat. Crab cake came with a bacon corn relish…didn’t merry well with the seafoody crab.
The best steak I have had in a very long time!
Had 5pm reservation. This was our second early reservation yet we were seated near the very busy entryway and bar. Needless to say this was quite noisy. Other that that we had an excellent server and our meal was very good. Our visit was also in celebration of our 47th anniversary, but other than a couple of "happy anniversary" wishes from the hosti and our server there was no other recognition. Other restaurants in this same category offer a gratis dessert..... No problem, we'll be back
The food was outstanding. Service poor. Requested a steak knife and never received one. Water glass was refilled only once. Everything I read about Jackson's about business casual. I was the only one in the restaurant with business casual. I really felt overdressed.
I was very disappointed with the service and really did not want to leave a tip but I did relent and left 15%. which was too much. Sorry to be so negative but when I want to celebrate a special occasion I will go to another restaurant like The Grand Marlin.
As always great. Especially the prime rib Tuesday special.
I was celebrating with my son who is here for military training in Pensacola and this place was a great choice! We had the lamb lollipops, which upon first bite, both my son and I were giggling with disbelieve on how tasty they were! Then we split a caesar salad and new york strip steak that was totally worth it! Don't hesitate to check this place out!
Tom is the absolute best waiter food expert in the world! The food and everything was amazing but he took our experience to a whole other level!!! Definitely the best steakhouse we visited in Pensacola.
From the moment we walked in we were treated very special and that continued with the outstanding service from Warren. Our reservation was at 5PM and that was perfect as the restaurant had just opened, it was quiet and we received great service. We will come again!
Great food. Appetizers very small for the price.
Always nice ambience , pleasant relaxing view of park & soft jazz usually in the background . Good service and consistency in food preparation from a varied menu .
Warren was awesome! Made the evening even better!
Lovely as always. Jackson’s never fails to deliver a delicious dinner with top notch service in its beautiful restaurant. Highly recommend. Don’t forget to try the French onion soup - it’s stellar.
Jackson's Steakhouse consistantly provides outstanding food in an elegant, upscale atmosphere. The service is first-class. We were greeted immediately, and, when I gave my name, the receptionist immediately located the reservation. Our waiter, Jake, was quick and professional, but not overbearing. The food was wonderful. Jackson's is known for its steaks, and our positive experience was no exception. My wife and I split a steakhouse chopped salad, and we both had steak dinners, with mine being the petit (6 oz.) sirloin. The steak was tender, perfectly aged, and cooked per my wishes. We added two deep-dish sides, the mushrooms and onions, plus the brussel sprouts with bacon. Both were wonderful. We finished dinner with a key lime dessert for her, and a creme broulee for me. This is a pricey restaurant, but well worth it. Our dinner, including a couple drinks was $160.00 plus tip. Given the service, atmosphere, and food, the dining experience was well worth it.
Great meal for Tuesday prime rib special. The desserts, key lime pie in phylo and creme brûlée made the meal special. Went for 25 th wedding anniversary, but received nothing special. Would not go and pay full price off the everyday menu.
Our server, Thom is THE BEST in Pensacola! Great food made even more special with Thom’s attention and service
My wife and I had a wonderful experience, great staff and the food is amazing!
This is a fine dining restaurant. The tables are set with linen tablecloths and candles, although the dress code is business casual. This is an a la carte menu with prices to match. Jackson Steakhouse is a great place to go to have a special dining experience.
Great Server and server team.
Food is great, service very good, ambiance has been practically the same ever since it opened. Time for a tasteful update. Ceiling lighting decor is distracting.
Love Lobster Night at Jackson's! It's becoming a habit! I keep referring my friends there and so far nothing but positive feedback.
Disappointed with Open Table on this reservation. Made a 5:30 reservation in order to take advantage of the three course "prelude" meals shown on the Open Table site menu.
Seeing no "prelude" offerings on the menu, we inquired and were told that the "prelude" offerings were discontinued in June. Open Table was featuring an incorrect menu.
I have NEVER had anything other than an excellent experience at Jackson’s Steakhouse.
and I’ve been dining there since it opened.
Absolutely top notch.
