   The gentleman who seated us was engaging and very nice. He even complimented me on my dress. Our server was cold toward us. We observed him with other patrons, and he was smiling and talking to them. He did not offer my husband a refill for his iced tea. We have never had a server like him at Jackson’s before, and we have been so many times we cannot recount. After we paid and he brought back our receipt, he then said have a nice evening. Probably so he could get a nice tip. Well , that did not work. We usually tip more than 20% after taxes. however; we gave him less than 18% before taxes. We will return, but hope he is never our server.

   We have dined at Jackson’s many times and always get excellent service and food. Today was different. The service lacked. The food was so so. Every place has an off day and maybe today was the day. We will be back!

   The was good as always. We had 1:00 pm reservations and we were seated a few minutes early. We placed an order for salads which seemed to take a while to get but not too concerned but we waited well over an hour, probably closer to an hour and a half for our entrees while other tables around us appeared to receive theirs much quicker? We ordered off the regular menue so there was nothing out of the ordinary. Our server did indicate a couple of times that ours would be coming soon and one time that they were placing ours on plates. Never really got an explanation or apology why it took so long for ours. I suspected that maybe our order didn't get entered into your system promptly? It was mother's day and we had our 8 month old grandson with us as well and it got challenging to keep him entertained for that period of time. The food was good as always but i was disappointed in the service and timeliness of our meal. The many times that we have eated at Jackson's in the past, the service was always extraordinary, not so much this time.

   Had a wonderful experience here for my husbands birthday. Service was fantastic (ask for Scott!), steaks were cooked perfectly as requested, and cocktails were great. Will definitely be back!

   The food is always so consistently delicious and the steaks are perfectly prepared.

   Tables are close together. It felt like we were having dinner with strangers. Don’t expect an intimate dinner with your spouse, which was unfortunate for us because it was our marriage anniversary. My wife’s steak was great (filet), however, mine was terrible (ribeye). It was thin steak and whatever the sauce was they put over it was not prepared correctly, was not good. I did not mention it to our waiter because I didn’t want the table next to ours hearing me complain.

   Everything was exceptional. The food was amazing, the service was impeccable, and the place flawless!

   Friends recommended this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Food and service was great, will definitely be dining here in the future.

    Great place. My highest recommendation. We enjoyed the squash casserole as well as the asparagus. The steaks were cooked just as requested.
