Jack Stack Barbecue originated in Kansas City in 1957, by Russ Fiorella in a traditional storefront barbecue, with a modest selection of 5 or 6 items. Jack Fiorella, the eldest son, worked with his father until 1974 when he decided to branch off and start Fiorella's Jack Stack of Martin City.

                                                                                          Julia was our server, she was great, very personable and attentive!! We enjoyed our salmon dip and chipotle pork Mac ‘n cheese appetizers, then our entrees!!

                                                                                          As always food and service was excellent!! I tried the BBQ chicken for the first time and loved it! They also offer a bourbon cocktail that is magnificent!!

                                                                                          The food and the service were excellent, as always! This is our favorite barbecue restaurant! Outstanding wait staff in Aubrey, who always remembers what we like and has it ready for us!!! Definitely recommended as one of the finest dining establishments in Overland Park!

All six of us got different selections from the menu, but all delicious! Thank you, Jack Stack for a great evening.

                                                                                          3 out of four of us ordered beef burnt ends and requested lean as possible. These were the fattiest burn ends ever. When visually they are fat, fat, fat -it is not good. Very, very disappointed. It definitely will discourage newer from returning anytime soon. Unfortunately we were hungry, they were busy, and we needed to get somewhere.
