   Food was great and very unique Ukrainian/Russian menu options. Our waiter was very friendly and fast. The cocktails were unique and well made. The only issue was with the chef. I ordered the duck and asked for it to be cooked medium rare. The waiter said that the chef might not like that because she prefers to cook it medium, but that he would tell her. He also said the skin might have to be left off if it was cooked less than medium, but I said that crispy skin was the best part and to not leave it off. The chef ended up giving me the most well done duck I've ever eaten, and she removed the skin. Passive aggressive and not ok. Luckily all the flavors of the food were great though.

   What a jem! Food was fantastic, great service, nice music and great quite ambiance. Very nice decore. Highly recommended. Will definitely go back to try something else from the menus.

   Great food. Second time we've eaten at Ivory. There were not a lot of people on Friday night, which we thought was a little unusual. We would go back.

   Excellent service and food. The sea bass was terrific in taste and presentation. Also there were a few delightful Russian dishes. I am returning next week as I enjoyed the food so much.

   food was great, my wife ordered the filet mignon came out just right, I ordered the Chilean sea bass, moist and fell off the fork. What went wrong, "service ". Started off pleasant enough, BUT, up front, I explained that we have to leave in one hour would that be sufficient time? We got the assurance, however, when we finally were served the main course we had just 15 minutes to eat our dinner. To fill the wait time we asked for bread for we hadn't eaten all day. The bread finally arrived when we got our main course. Did we reach out and ask a fellow employee just for help on the bread? yep, and same results. So, if your don't have more than an hour to finish your dinner or think that bread is important I suggest another restaurant. FYI- the bread was great moist I would have liked second helping but we clearly would have delayed our departure

   First time to dine at Ivory. We had a very enjoyable meal before going to the Pageant of the Masters. When we made reservations we cited a preference for a table in a quiet part of the restaurant and were accommodated very quickly when we arrived. We tried a variety of dishes ( bilinea ravioli, crabcake, Chilean sea bass, lamb, creme brulee) and they were all prepared and served well. Every member of our party if 4 agreed that the evening went well enough to warrant a return.

   WE thought that our server Oxana was amazing. We thought the food was mediocre. Sorry to say. The proximity to the Pageant of the Masters could not have been better. we were so very much hoping for an amazing meal for the price, but were disappointed.

   We went for our Anniversary before going to Pageant of the Masters. It was a hot humid summer day and since many reviews said it was casual, we figured it was ok to be dressed accordingly. I would encourage visitors to dress a little nicer. The bartender literally looked us up and down when we walked in. Maybe that's something he can't help, but he should be aware that it was obvious. That said, he was nice but he also discouraged us from ordering drinks from the menu saying he could make better drinks than 'that stuff' There was one on the menu that sounded good to me, but since he seemed so discouraging I let him make me one of his own creations. It was a cucumber lime martini with a very light amount of coconut rum, so light that I couldn't taste it at all. The drink tasted fine but I felt like there was no alcohol in it. The bartender was also our waiter and the first thing he told us was that they were out of exactly what I came for. The short rib. He said that because it's a small restaurant in the canyon, they don't always get their deliveries. If you have a good relationship with your suppliers, they will follow through. It's not like they're in the middle of nowhere. They have a sign saying it changed ownership about 6 weeks ago, maybe they've had a rough transition, I don't know but hopefully they get those kinks worked out. I know I shouldn't do that, but I was really set on having that short rib so now all I wanted was the pear gorgonzola salad which was good, but the edges of some of the lettuce were black and brown and I had to push aside the slimy parts. To be fair, once they realized we were there to celebrate our anniversary and this night was not going well, they were apologetic and offered us free dessert to make up for not having the entrees we came for. The creme brulee was amazing! They did not have to do that, but it was a very nice gesture. I would consider going back, however I would make sure they have what I want first.

    We LOVE the IVORY... and quite disappointed that it will be changing ownership again! I know the canyon is a difficult place for a business to survive, but this restaurant is one of our favorites in all of Laguna! The food is consistently excellent, service is excellent, and the ambiance is wonderful! It was the first time for our friends and they LOVED it as well. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
